Poor Quality

Received 2 tops. Neither look like the fabric shown and both way too big. Sizing off. Said I could keep both and would refund 15%. Whooppee!

I've read a few reviews here and was amazed that someone could actually give this company one/two/three stars! Wow!. I am a very picky shopper and simply LOVE Zulily. I've used it for about two years for my whole family and friends and have NOT yet been disappointed! The customer service is AMAZING, that is, if an item that you received is really not working for you, Zulily refunds you (either back on your CC or as a store credit), no questions asked. Everyone in the customer service team is friendly and very professional. I am very impressed, to say the least. In regards to the shipping length, the majority of of orders do take about 2 weeks to receive, but this information is clearly disclosed on their website, so it shouldn't be a surprise! By the way, the company is doing great financially, just look up recent articles on google. And I REALLY doubt the people who posted all those bad reviews are ACTUAL Zulily customers lol. Those are probably members of competting businesses or something because those reviews do not make any sense! Well, if you say that Cole Haan, Tom Ford and Prada ( some of the featured designers on Zulily) sell CHEAP stuff, I am SPEECHLESS!)))

Zulily has lots of good items and many good deals. However, it is not at all like shopping on any other site. Remember: there are no returns! SO, to get the best out of your Zulily shopping experience, remember the following:

*try to shop for brands you know; you will do best if you are ordering brands you already are familiar with and like. If you don't know the brand, try researching it on the internet and see what customers say about it on other sites.

*if buying clothing, pay special attention to the size chart that is available for each item. Check the size chart closely and be sure you are ordering something that is going to fit. Many items on Zulily run smaller than standard size.

*have a Plan B. Since you cannot return the items, what will you do with them if you don't like the color or if the item doesn't fit? Know in advance what you will do with it. Also, know in advance how much you can afford to spend for something that may turn out to wow you, but may turn out to disappoint. Can you afford up to $10? $20? $50? Think about that first. It is always good to have someone in mind to take your "mis-buys."

*lastly, remember that Zulily has some great items and some phenomenal deals. It is just that everything you buy through them will not be perfect. BUT, Zulily does have good customer service. If something arrives hugely different from advertised or broken or in another material (for instance, if it says 100% cotton, but when it arrives, the label says 100% rayon), then contact Zulily customer service through email or phone. They respond quickly and usually in a case like that, they take the item off your bill. Rather than returning it, they suggest you donate it to charity.

Used to be a good place to shop. Not anymore. First of all, if you want something within a reasonable timeframe you have to order from their "Ready to Ship" category which more than likely means stuff that's been returned because they do NOT warehouse any of the mdse they front on their site. They wait until they have their whole order together from customers, then THEY order the stuff, it comes to them and then THEY RE-SHIP IT OUT TO CUSTOMERS. It is now taking a month to get anything you order. Used to be quicker. You can't return anything. I bought a pair of rainboots for my granddaughter couple years ago and they came alright, but one boot a size 9 and one a size 13. Crock. Nice website, some stuff is okay but honestly, I just google the stuff and get the brand name and see if I can get it from Amazon free ship in 2 days. Perfume deals are good. Clothes suck quality-wise, and if you don't mind waiting FOREVER for your stuff some of the hard goods are nice. Oh, and it USED to be BARGAINS! Now they are featuring handbags for $1,000 to $2,000. As I said on their FB page, if I had THAT kind of money I wouldn't be shopping online at your store, I'd be taking my limo to Saks... not worth it anymore. Sad. It used to be good.

I ordered for my first time on zulily. I gave an initial fake email as thats the only way you can check it out, you can change that later though IF you choose to check out. I bought several my littly pony things and some other stuff. Over the night, i got the intuition that something with zulily isnt all that its craked up to be. So i hunted the internet under "zulily is horrible, and zulily sucks, and several complaint boards came up. Thankfully to all the posters and some that were VERY recent i have to say all came up with negative experiences with that zulily place. Well i thought ill cancel that order, you cannot cancel an order without calling them. They were nice, however, instead of a lump sum being credited there is 9 transactions of individual refunds (9. 99. 13. 99 24.99 etc.)back to the original payment source. Fiddle stick on them. I would not recommend buyiung a thing from them at all. I rather go to amazon. Now while i was taking some items to see if they were available on amazon, they were but some a bit more money like 5-10 more on some things, however you have a solid return policy and refund policy on amazon., stick with them! Plus you get your stuff in like 2-3 days depends on if you have prime or not. Ive never had trouble with amazon. THANK YOU POSTERS FOR TELLING ME THE TRUTH ABOUT ZULILY BEOFRE I GOT BURNED! I deeply appreciate it.

AWFUL
October 3, 2014

AWFUL- will NEVER orderagain! My first order was Auguat 23rd. On August 26th my credit card was charged. It is now October 3rd and I was told the shoes I ordered are no longer available and it will take 6 to 10 business days for my card to be credited back. I had called repeatly asking about the status and was told they should ship within the next few days. Almost 2 months later, no shoes and still wating my my card to be credited. Only company I know that charges your card before the item is ready to ship. I have already paid by CC statement and now having to wait almost 2 months later for Zulilly to give my money back. AWFUL business and AWFUL C/S
