Its impossible to cancel from the website so dont pay them. And also when its impossible for you to come to the hotel because the country is on high risk they talk about penalty!

I had a trip in Chicago, found out the day of they charged my card but never paid the hotel. Hotel said I had to find somewhere else to stay, didn't refund me. Absolutely awful customer service, months later they told me they wouldn't refund.

I booked a hotel and have an active confirmation- but when I called the hotel, they said they don't have any records for the reservation!
The ZEN call center told me I will get a new confirmation number but within the last 8 days nothing happened and my trip will start in 4 days.
It's my first booking with ZEN but this is not was I expect from a trustful provider!

I paid for a "2 bedroom condo" which showed 2 different bathrooms 2 different bed rooms a full kitchen dining and livong space but when i got to the hotel they say i only bought a "double studio" which there is no such thing as a double studio so i wasted 500+$ because they scammed me out of my room i will bever use this trash $#*! site ever again

My daughter and her friends wanted to travel to London for their spring break. I was a little nervous about sending them out of the country. One of the school counselors suggested we use Zenhotels.com to find a nice hotel for the girls. I must say, this is an excellent site. We like the way everything is laid out and the details provided on the site. When we finally all agreed on a hotel I felt comfortable with the selection. Booking the room was really easy and we felt that we got a great deal. The girls went on their spring break trip and came back extremely happy. They raved about the hotel and told us that the staff was great and they always felt safe. I give a thumbs up to the counselor for recommending Zenhotels.com. This is definitely a site I will use again.
It's not trustful. It's scammers only. Be totally careful when you see offer from them, delete it instantly. Learn with other people's stories, like mine…
I booked and payed for 5 days hotel at Fernando de Noronha Island, in Brazil at Pousada das Flores, and when I got there with my 2 children, there was no reservation. I stayed at the airport, try to contact them, there's no phone number to talk with someone, by email only… it was getting dark and I needed to pay for other hotel for we stayed. No reservation, no money back. And, when you go to write a review, there's no choice, they give themselves 5 stars instars

It is very sad that zen hotels shows price of five star categories as that of budget hotels. Once you book the same and upon checkin you come to know that this is not the property you are looking for. Overall wastage of money and time.

I booked with this site for the first time and it will be my last. Got sick.had to cancel. Did so in the appropriate amount of time. As long as I did it by 14:00 on March 17th. Called to see why my credit card got charged and had not received my refund...they said I cancelled on the 18th, which was a lie because It is cancelled at 900am on the 17th.

They will offer you a different hotel than the previous reservation which is a prestigious hotel at a bargain price then they will transfer you to red doorz hotel which then keeps on changing places. If you ask for refund you will never know if they will return your money back. A bad way of misleading customers. Do not hesitate to deal with them.

Terrible service booked a hotel in Boston for April 25 the show I was attend was canceled for obvious reasons with corona and also travel bands within the state of Massachusetts and other states almost 2 weeks now since I called them they keep passing the buck over cancellation. Stating they do not deal directly with hotels what does that mean. They stated there working with there providers to see if we can get a cancellation with no fees Literally me not working with a hotel in two seconds I can pull it up on their website where it says all fees will be waived at the hotel through May 30 2020 If you want someone to take advantage of you take your money during one of the most challenging time in the world and not fulfill the service then Zen is the place.
First time using this website, it was friendly, swift and easy to navigate. I was able to make my bookings and all my enquiries was well attended. No other Booking website beats Zenhotel.com. Try it Today!
Cancelled my booking and didn't give me a refund. Finally gave me a voucher - instead of a refund (for cancelling on me on the day I was supposed to check-in!) And when I went to use it they only let me use half of the value of it. I complained to customer service and they said to cancel the booking (which voids the voucher!) Shocking! I hate this company and will never use them again. Whatvreipnof merchants. Hideous! Got nothing for my money and no refund

I paid a 53m2 room with zenhotels.com, the hotel gave me a 22m2, i called 40 days before to let know Zen that in the hotel my booking wasn't right, they didn't do anything, i got there, gave me the 22m2 and call from there 2 times telling Zen, they didn't do anything as well, i've been calling ever since, they just don't call or reply back

After i booked, i went to hotel and found out there no booking. But the apps confirm my booking as a no show and still charged my credit card. The apps gave me a coupon that i could not reedem because went i wanted to use it the they said that it expired and after they fixed it i still could not uset it because the room always sold out.

Never book with them! I had to cancel a booking with them due to Covid-19 and requested the refund of the money. They said it will be refunded between 3 and 30 business days. It's been 30 business days since I cancelled the booking and no sign of the money yet. It's so easy for them to take the money and so difficult to get it back. That's not acceptable!

Unfortunatelly we had a family issue and I called to check if I could cancel our reservation. The lady on the phone told me I could cancel the booking free of charge. Than I received an email that we lost our €1.500. If we would have known that we would lose our money we would have changed dates or even considered going anyway.
That we couldn't get our money back was correct according to the booking confirmation and the date that we could cancel for free. However if the lady on the phone didn't misinform me we could have still gone or at least didn't lose the opportunity to think of something else.
I expect better service and information.

Save yourself from stress and headache book somewhere else. Contacted the hotel that was supposedly booked but they said my reservation couldn't be found. So i ask zenhotel to cancel cuz I didn't want to wait til check in day and just be disappointed that I would not have a room. Zenhotel cancelled alright but also refused to give me my money back. So now not only that i have no hotel reservation i also don't have the money.

Total rip-off company. I had the same experience as many other users.
I had to cancel bookings due to Covid 19. Zen promised a refund in "3 to 30 days", but nothing was ever refunded despite multiple follow-ups.
I claimed from my CC provider under Section 75 and Zen then tried to claim that I was entitled to a refund at all.
They seem to be a Russian company with a front in Cyprus where the financial rules are, shall we say, "loose".
They are totally untrustworthy - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
