Tons of hotels + nice prices + convenient app
A must-have app imo. We recently had a trip throughout through the Europe. We had to book hostels everyday and every time everything was great.
We had to call ZH's support once because the hostel couldn't find our booking number but it worked our in 10 minutes. (We just told the receptionist our names instead of reservation number)
Would definitely use it again! :)
I had a booking through these guys. Our flight was cancelled so I called to cancel my reservation about 7 pm local time. The booking was under cancellation penalty already and I was annoyed as I had to cancel not because of my own mistake and still was charged, so i sent a very unpleasant letter to their customer support. Later I got an email from them saying that even though there was a cancellation fee, they had asked the hotel to make an exception were not going to charge me! I was impressed by their quick and polite answer to my complaint and by the solvation!

SCAM - I had a fully confirmed booking in New York. On the day of arrival they send me an e-mail the hotel was full and would provide me an alternative. I waited for 6 (!) hours and never heard anything. At 23:00 I booked a new hotel myself. They never provided me with anything.
The service is HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE this service.
I always have a hard time looking for hotels because there are so many things to take into consideration so I decided to try out zenhotels to see what I can find. It was really easy because the site was easy to navigate and I could find hotels easily according to my needs and the days I was staying. The hotels were the same as they were advertised and I had a pleasant experience!
ZenHotels gave me the best experience in my last visit in Delaware. I was there because of my best friend weeding and I felt like home. The room price was affordable. I will use them in the future for sure.
I had already used this service twice. First time everything went smoothly, easy to choose a hotel, easy to book and a sweet price. Though the second time there were some issues. First of all I couldn't't reach the hotel via the phone to reconfirm my booking, so I had to call zenhotels like 5 times until they figured it out. The price was still great but I expected them to solve problems a bit faster.
At first I thought ZenHotels was a fake website because none of my friends knew it, but then I read a dozen of positive reviews plus I saw a really good price for the hotel I wanted to stay at so much.
I booked the hotel and on arrival I discovered that the room I booked was already occupied. When I contacted ZenHotels the customer service representative said that on behalf of the company she would compensate me with one of their luxurious suites as I was with my husband and we had booked one of the rooms with the lower rates. That is how the staff at ZenHotels work; they try to alleviate all travel stress under their purview. However, I must say that the error occurred at front desk and the manager on duty that evening gave us room service free of charge for our entire stay.
This business is amazing, everything is super easy and fast. Everytime I had a question they solved it immediately, I recommend it to everybody.
I am always going to use this website, it is an incredible opportunity.
I see lots of people saying negative things about zenhotels but i didnt had a single issues, its was so easy i made booking online and went to hotel without any issues.
And the price was very cheap when i compare same room to other site.

Easy to book a room as well as easy to cancel booking.
Now whenever I need to book any room in hotel I always use this website. And I recommend this website to others as well.
Zenhotels are scammers, I cancel my refundable booking with them on the 26th March an still have not received my refund, they won't provide any reference number and keep trying to get me off the phone.
They are making up excuses and saying because of COVID19 it takes longer for the bank to proceed the transaction. I have checked with my bank and they are fully operational and just Zenhotels did not process refund.
If you are looking for a hassle free booking just avoid them.

Prepaid for my hotel in full. The hotel doesn't have a reservation for me and Zen is saying they will not refund. Zen is saying they have to confirm with hotel that I don't have a room. I have no where to stay and Zen won't refund me!

I have had a terrible experience with Zen Hotels. I made a booking, and somehow during the process the booking was duplicated. I was made aware of this the next day and contacted them immediately to refund the duplicate booking. They have refused to cancel and refund the booking and have £300 of my money. The staff in the call centre are not helpful at all.

We have analyzed the case carefuly. Our IT department double checked all stages of booking process and did not reveal any mistakes from the side of our service.
Then, after your request we did our best to cancel the duplicated booking, but, unfortunately, the hotel administration refused to cancel it due to the nonrefundable booking policy.
However, after your second request, our team managed to amend the dates of duplicated booking for the desirable dates of stay.
So, you had two completed bookings: one booking for May and another one for September.
Also, in order to mitigate the negative experience we kindly offered you loyalty points (equal to the booking amount), which you accepted. The points were credited to your account successfully. As far as we can see, you made two new bookings, which were partially prepaid with the help of the loyalty points.
Unfortunately, you were not able to utilize the booking in May due to the missed flight, but, you still have the booking for September.
So, regarding your complaint above, we put maximum effort to solve this situation, which was not caused by our service. Plus we credited considerable amount of loyalty points to fix your impression.

I was supposed to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon this week, unfortunately due to coronavirus that is not a possibility I messaged zen hotels more then 60 days ago to try and cancel or rearrange my trip and they keep saying it will take two weeks and then when I message them again they say the same things this website is an absolute scam disgusting to steal money from people
Astonishing inn! All staff was exceptionally inviting and accommodating. Particularly the bartender, excellent administration and amicable! Booking was simple and efficient. The room was exquisite and clean. The food was awesome! The staff was accommodating at getting you around the city.
I have already booked three times with them. 2 bookings went perfectly but the last one didn't went this smoothely. Long story short: I booked wrong type of room and became really upset when I found that out. And even though arguing with the hotel's stuff didn't help, I called Zenhotels and they worked it out and I got what I needed.
