Booked a hotel near Disneyland. A week after the booking, I got a message saying that "Unfortunately, we have received information that due to a technical issue, the booking was confirmed at (a DIFFERENT hotel)" This is NOT OK. This hotel is 2 miles away from where the original hotel is that I booked. And now that it's closer to my travel date, hotels are getting booked up and there aren't very many options left. I am completely upset, and I will NEVER book through Zenhotels.com again! Don't let them ruin your family vacation!
Zen Hotels charged me for a hotel room in a hotel that was CLOSED. They did not contact me to alert me the hotel was closed and issue me a refund. I got to find out the hotel was closed when I showed up for vacation! The hotel indicated that they had informed Zen Hotels months ago that they needed to close and had refunded Zen Hotels and told Zen Hotels that Zen Hotels was responsible for contacting its customers and issuing refunds. But instead of doing that, Zen Hotels made no efforts to inform or refund me, so I got to spend over 3x the amount on a last minute hotel. I have attempted to contact Zen Hotels five times since (it's been 10 days since my reservation) and have received no contact or resolution despite my continued attempts to follow up. This company has stolen from me. Steer far clear.

I tried to book a hotel and they offered 5% discount that never applied- fake phone numbers online! I went through hell to tech someone and they will not provide the discount or a refund + I'm at the hotel and they never heard of the NO RESERVATION!

I booked a room with Amoma (an old competitor) for a hotel in Vienne. I received an email from Amoma announcing his cease trading notification, I lost my money and my booking because the hotel was full booked. The problem was my friend who booked the same hotel but with Zen Hotels with terms: no refundable booking. She explained the situation to Zen Hotels and asked for a cancellation without fees because we'll travel together and it's not possible to be separated... They accepted the cancellation without fees, a exceptionnal gesture! Thank you for your profesionnalism and for your humanism
I booked a room with Zenhotels.com., and pre paid for the reservation.
I called the Hotel directly and was told that my confirmation code and name were not showing a reservation.
When I called Zenhotel, they assured me that they have a reservation and they would send it to their department that would take care of this and call me back.
No return call.
I called back 2 days later and they said it was resolved and gave me a new confirmation code.
When I arrived at the Hotel, no room under my name or confirmation code.
I called Zenhotel from the lobby.
They assured me that it was a mistake and they would call back within 1o minutes
NO CALL BACK.
I tried again and had the same experience.
After about 2 hours I gave up.
I had to get an Uber and find a hotel that had a room on graduation weekend.
Not an easy task and not the type of hotel that I had wanted to stay.

I booked a hotel for two nights, and when my plans changed and I couldn't use it anymore, I canceled two days before the free cancellation deadline. They emailed me and asked for more information and I provided that information even before the deadline. They still charged me, and when I disputed the credit card charge, they fought it and they continue to fight it. They don't adhere to their policies. They lie, and I would never book with them again.

They advertise free cancellation, but when I tried to modify my reservation, TO SHORTEN IT BY ONE DAY, it came up $300 more expensive. So the free cancellation actually would cost me $300 for one less night. What a scam. And the service rep couldn't even give me a cohesive answer. I will never use them again.

We booked a hotel through zen hotels and received a fully paid voucher for the hotel we booked, After 3 days of our holiday we were notified by our hotel that they still couldnt find our booking. I emailed zen hotels and they said they couldnt understand why they couldnt find it.The hotel was very good and after still not being able to find the booking, and numerous emails causing me lots of stress, the company Zenhotels admitted that due to a technical error on their part, they had booked us into a differant hotel,, a hotel i would not stay in. They told me i had to move hotels or pay the hotel i booked myself again,, which had more than doubled in price. I refused numerous times,, but they would not pay, In the end we had to pay again,, it ruined our holiday and i am now out of pocket. Theyhave now refunded me the cost i originally paid, but obviously this was not the price we had topay again,, i have sent numerous complaints to their dept. but as yet i have not had a reply

Zenhotels.com delivered on their promise of absolute convenience. Compared to other online booking services I have used in the past ( i won't mention names), zenhotels is nothing short of amazing.
DO NOT USE ZEN LURE YOU IN WITH CHEAP HOTEL RATES that hotel know nothing about/do not have your booking in their system. This company is not very helpful and do a lot of questionable things. They hold onto peoples money for unnecessarily long periods of time after booking is cancelled, 50 days or longer and charge in wrong currency so as can get extra money. I will never use again and have told friends/fellow travelers not to either.

The site is a scam! You select Canadian funds and the price that is shown is in Canadian currency but they charge you in US funds! Try to get a refund with screenshot of what should of been charged that's an even bigger event. I've sent over 25 emails to their complaints department since January 2019 and I have never received a credit and they have stopped answering my emails since March! Before March I would get we are working on your file. Lesson learned, I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!

I was checking hotels on "Trivago" site. Average price for hotels in my destination about $300/ night. Zenhotels offered price $46/night. I was really surprised and of course booked my hotel with Zenhotels. Price was very low and suspicious, I decided to read reviews about Zenhotels, since I never heard about them before. The site has very low rating and people were noticed that this is not real site, they are scammers. I found some positive reviews as well and decided to be on positive side.
Week after my reservation I received e-mail from sales representative Igor, he wrote that my reservation was a mistake, offer full refund and $30 discount. I accepted this, mistakes happen some times.
After another week no cancellation been made and no promotional code for discount. I sent them an e- mail again. Received an answer from another representative Mina. She wasn't nice with communications. No apology, no thank you. Finally I received my refund, but less than I paid.
Really disappointed that such reliable site as a Trivago allowed Zenhotels place their advertisement.
NEVER AGAIN WILL deal with those people, who doesn't know what is customer service is.

My dad had planned a trip for this week has tried to call email everything you can think of over the last 2 weeks to change dates for his reservation as the site rearranged the dates on him! He has sent over 20 emails and tried to get in contact to change these dates and zenhotels have been nothing but stressful and dodgy there waiting for the cancellation period to finish to even reply to him i find ripping people disgusting and the lack of communication and no help is just appalling I personally would never EVER book with this company that are ripping people off ESPEICIALLY during covid time! We have provided email after email day after day and i am just disgusted in the scam they are playing! Do not book with them disgraceful!

Credible and very convenience site! The customer care team was prompt to reply and made my summer vacation awesome. I had the best experience in all the reservations they booked for me.
Very comfortable rooms at an agreeable price for London. Very central. A few minutes walk from Euston Station. Close to Russell Square tube. A little gem.

When we made the booking, we clearly relied on your "Rate specifications" which included a Premium Double room with a "sea view & jacuzzi" as the Screenshots attached show, however once the booking was made the "rate specifications" had a totally different room on the confirmation than what was booked. I contacted Zen Hotels support before the trip to ask why the rooms was different and was told we would get what we booked upon arrival at the hotel.
When we arrived, the story changed. We were given a Premium Double room, which was more like a basement and the cheapest room, that Hotel had to offer. It was not the Hotels fault, as they explained that those were the rooms available to Zen Hotels.
We even sent Zen Hotels screenshots and videos of the booking process. All they did way change the Website, which is clearly an admission of guilt and left us hanging out to dry.
Do not trust Zen Hotels. Very Misleading in everything they do, near to fraudulent if you as me. Instead of admitting a simple mistake we were left to foot the bill for a horrible room, that we paid very good money for.
