I cancelled my reservation on 16/03/20, I was informed it will take 3-30 days max. I still didn't get my refund! I contacted support so many times... DO NOT BOOK THROUGH FRAUDULENT ZENHOTELS.COM Stealing is a crime! I want my money back!
I booked through this company for a hotel room.they took my money and made the reservation, then weeks later when I checked into the hotel they had no record of the room being paid for. The 3rd party company zenhotels.com did not send the funds to the hotel so I had to pay on arrival for a room I had already paid for weeks ago.The hotel said they do not have any contracts with zenhotels, zenhotels said they book through other companies and would not provide me with proof they paid the hotel because they did not pay them. When I email them they say the same thing over and over. They are looking into it…there's no number to call everything is done via email or chat! Just save yourself the hassle and headache and book with a reputable company. This company is not an American company. They are scammers that have been around for years now if you look and do a little research you will see the same thing happening to people all the time from these guys. Even reputable hotels have written bad reviews about the fraudulent website. It's been months now and all I've received is a poorly written email from a non English speaker saying they will contact supplier…give me a break.my booking number is ******* and the hotel was Hampton Inn & suites in Cleveland Mentor….The hotel did nothing wrong. It's the zenhotels.com that cheats people out of their money.
Trying to get a refund from this company is a nightmare. I booked 2 non-refundable hotel reservations because they were so much cheaper than everyone else. Should've known there was a huge catch. Tested positive for covid a week before the trip and got confirmation from both properties that they were happy to cancel my reservations for free in this case. I called Zenhotels customer service, which is only reachable via internet call from their app or a buggy chat system, and they did file tickets and respond promptly the next day. However, despite obtaining approvals from both properties, they need to "obtain refund confirmation from the supplier" before they can return the money. Literally NEVER experienced this before with any other booking agency. Better stick with legitimate companies like Priceline, Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc. in the future. I do appreciate customer service for responding lightening fast but it makes no sense that they cannot refund with provider approval due to a middle man supplier.

I had a horrible experience with Zenhotels.com They are a SPAM. The customer service agents are unethical and nonapologetic even after causing problems. WORST customer service and FRAUD. I booked a villa for my family in Hawaii and immediately got a confirmation. The day before leaving for the trip, I called the number on the reservation to find the process for getting the keys. The number was unreachable. The number was wrong. I called ZenHotels for the confirmation and after spending 3-4 hrs on phone with them, They advised me to cancel the reservation as they did not have any room. They did not even bother to find me an alternative accommodation. I am traveling with two kids and a day before leaving, I am told that I do not have any accommodation even after paying for it.

I booked a 2 night stay for the end of May however due to Covid-19 and my additional vulnerability, I cancelled this booked on 19th March. This was before many lockdowns were introduced. This cancellation was confirmed on 23rd March and I was told I would get this refund in 3-30 days. I am yet to receive this refund or reassurance when/if I will receive my refund.
I have exchanged countless emails enquiring into this however the only response I have received has been that they cannot refund my money and cannot tell me when I will receive this money.
It angers me that people who have requested refunds after I had have received their refunds

Rosa tagaytay road which eventually it is The Whitewoods Convention & Leisure Hotel Whitewoods Leisure And Convention Whitewoods Convention and Leasure Hotel same address as this hotel and The problem was The hotel is already not connected to reddoorz. ZenHotels still publish in their site that reddoorz is still connected with Whitewoods Hotel which is not. Tried to email then for several Times since yesterday and yet no action/ solution til today. DO not trust this online reservation. SCAM!

Cancelled my reservation due to COVID March 17th and still have not received a refund. I have called over 10 times and I get the same response. They say, we contacted the Hard Rock and awaiting approval of your refund. BUT WHEN I call the Hard Rock they say it is approved. So why no refund? If zero stars was an option, I would give them zero stars. Their customer support is useless, non-responsive and clearly a third-party in Russia or somewhere in eastern Europe. We purchased a nice vacation stay at Ventana Big Sur on 3/15/2020 through Zenhotels and called the hotel on 5/24/2020 to confirm our reservation. The hotel told us that they sent out email and phone correspondence to ZenHotels to let them know that the hotel was closing due to COVID-19 on 3/29/2020. We received NO CORRESPONDENCE whatsoever from ZenHotels informing us that our vacation was cancelled. They did not refund us and we have been going back and forth with their customer support for over a week to get a refund for a hotel that they already received a refund from. They have been an absolute nightmare to deal with and their automated phone service and customer support team is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend avoiding purchasing anything from them!

Don't use zenhotels for your booking! My experience wasn't good I booked with them and when I got to the hotel to check in they told me that I have to pay almost $2,000 more because my children age appear as a 0 so because they were 13 and 16 they have to pay, I called Zenhotels and their response was I was my mistake when I booked, apparently I made a mistake but I asked for any other option since I was already there, they couldn't help me fixing the ages and charge me the difference, The only option after being on the phone with them for 2 hours was to send a request to the department in charge and see if they can add 2 people but they never called me back and I ended paying for them at the hotel. Never again!
