I have had chemical burns/allergic reactions to people putting a drop of Young Living essential oils onto them self near me.
I feel like si have a bad sunburn for 3 days and I am red. Even my eye burns.
Any time I needed to contact customer service, there would always be a minimum of 2 hour wait. They could never completely help you with whatever issue you had. I only bought oils for them for 3 months and it was the worst experience I have ever had with poor service. One month it took 3 weeks for my oils to be delivered! The oils are overpriced, and you are stuck ordering every month in order to earn "loyalty rewards". It's not worth it. I have since changed to Revive Essential Oils, and they ship fast, customer service is wonderful, no minimum order required!
I purchased a $36 vanilla oil and it has very little smell to it (if any). I was told by the company that you can't guarantee your products - not even a trade up. Pretty bad business for oils that are 4 times the price of others and are supposed to be high grade.
I was disappointed to find phtalates and PEG ingredients in their lavender shampoo and conditioner. Apparently, they are now changing the formula. Their reply was that they are careful not to exceed the acceptable levels that are non-toxic for these questionable ingredients. There is no way they have enough research funds to test the efficacy of each and every product, especially when they cover such a wide range. This should be a good indication to many consumers that there are ample more professional brands out there that are keeping within similar guidelines and may be more effective than Young living products, probably more affordable too (I am not referring to supermarket brands!).
Yes, some of the products are great, some are also over priced due to the pyramid scheme that has to pay a salary to all those recruited down the pyramid.
To live and breathe this brand ONLY is foolish and shows misinformation!
My mother is a YL rep and by all means I support every venture that she has. She bought me a diffuser for Christmas that I was (at first) very excited about. However since then, I have been her customer, not her son. I gave her a very specific "i will come you to" boundary which she refuses to follow. Then she guilt trips me every single time I refer to the boundary. The YL business model uses friends and family against each other and promotes pushing limits to reach the "next level". Well the next level will be pretty lonely.
I love the product but I also know it is kind of a pyramid scam which is weird. And it is scary for you people to want FIVE digits of a SSN. We all know the first three are where we were born so basically you just have to guess one number to steal our identity. You should just have regular sales people instead of the "member" crap - it just makes you seem sleazy. I will use your products but NEVER recommend them.
I signed up after 3 years of consideration. After getting 5 or 6 shipments using essential rewards, I have decided to cancel the ER minimum of $50/mo ordering. I like the oils just fine but don't need to have the pressure of ordering something every month to get "discounted" shipping ($6) and earn monthly rewards. Plus, I have never received my shipments sooner than 2 weeks from the time I placed my order. I have another very good direct essential oil company that I order from, get free shipping and excellent customer service and the shipments arrive in an average of 5 days. I am sticking with them!
When I called to cancel there was no questioning as to why I was cancelling, just the reminder of how I am losing my already earned points and discounted shipping. When asked if there was anything else, I let her know my diffuser had never worked properly then was blamed for why it was not working properly. No, " how can I make things right" or anything to remedy my defective diffuser... disgusted! I work in the customer service industry and this was POOR!
I then asked to cancel my membership and was told not to order anything for a year. I want my membership cancelled today and even that was a NO. Really? Even though I like their oils I will NEVER order from them again based upon the customer service I was given.
So here's my story guys my future wife loves the oils her and her mom use them all day everyday and I tbink they are actually helpful I have had some injuries in the past since I played sports in high school and by me useing the cool azul I feel great. I also use the thieves toothpaste, and there bears oil all with perfect outcomes but my issue is more of a personal matter. My girlfriend is so fixated with these products she doesn't understand how it affects others, she wants to educate every one and every person about how some things people use aren't the best for you and how only young living is safe. The oils give me some time of reacting at times specifically the thieves cleaner or if she difusses any oil I get a sore throat as well as a stuffy nose. I just want people to understand that it's hard to be in a relationship with someone whoes so passionate about a oil and a company that it affects your relationship. I think young Living needs to know that ropeing people in to a better lifestyle is only possible with a mindset if I wanna eat twinkies and drink beer then I will but if I want to have carrots and water I also will the company means well but the get people in and it changes them overall still tbink there products are pretty good and probably the best oils out there
I love this company it is my favorite I've been using these oils for a long time I would never use any other kind they had changed my life in many ways the owner Gary D young was the best guy ever! Please keep his legacy alive!
I have used Young Living oils for 17 years and have never been disappointed. They have changed my life and families health and well being. When there are product or service questions I have been helped. I have found that product availability is a matter of these being a real "natural" from nature product dictated by things like weather... that says a lot to me as it means they won't compromise by using an inferior product to 'make a sale'... thank you Young Living. We appreciate your integrity and all the ways you help the less fortunate all over the world, wherever you go you bless and enrich the lives of those you partner with. Now that is something I can support :)
I have been using Young Living products since 2009 after I had cancer. I wanted to change the trajectory of my health, and I HAVE! I'm shocked at the reviews on here because I have never experienced anything but positive results from the products and the company itself! I have gotten replacement products when needed and customer service has been great! Shipping was a bit slow last year in 2020 but what WAS normal last year? Don't believe all these crappy 1 star reviews! I'd be willing to bet there's an ulterior motive going on there! Try it for yourself! You'll never regret it and never go back to using synthetic products again!
I should have known not to trust this company when my research about them uncovered that their founder had been charged with fraud for pretending to be a Doctor. In addition, the founder had also been investigated for manslaughter when he participated in an alternative birthing method which resulted in the death of his new born baby. But by this stage it was too late. I had already signed up and invested quite a lot of my time and money so I pushed ahead to continue spending and spreading the good word about Young Living, comforted by the fact that Garry Young had passed away and the company had an opportunity to change its spots. And then i experienced the dodgy behaviour for myself. Can't say I'm surprised, but I am very disappointed and hope to warn others.
Firstly, Young Living has great quality oils, however, they promote themselves with outright lies and half truths.
"From Seed to Seal" is one of the marketing ploys to fool the public into buying their oils. They are not the only company that does that.
They label their oils with such terms as "Therapeutic Grade", etc... There are no such terms. In fact, there is no regulating agency in existence that authorizes such terms.
If a company will go to such lengths to justify their outrageous prices, what else will they do?
There are other companies that sell essential oils that are just as good at 1/2 the price. That's where I shop for mine. Actually I get my oils from a company that has been around much longer than Young Living and allows their products to be purchased directly from them in order to avoid the extra markup prices of retail and they also eliminate the Multi-Level Marking cost add-ons by distributing without going through that MLM system.
This company expects you to sell so much per month so if you can not sell over 100.00 a month do not bother and i personally received an order that had leaked out of the cap and they would not replace it at full value. Now i am trying to close my account and use my acquired points to buy product and offered to pay for shipping but so far they have charged me twice for the products. Hours of on line chat and holding on phone.so now unfortunately my credit card company has to be my protection. Way
to expensive, slow shipping and no support
I don't know WHERE you get your data, but Young Living essential oils are amazing. They do wonders for our family. We are busy changing our way of thinking about modern medicine as we've had so much success with Young living oils.
Young Living is an amazing company! Seed to Seal promise on the purity of all their products! The ONLY essential oil company that will allow you to come and visit the farms and actually see how things are done first hand! The Young Living Foundation helps support several causes, putting an end to human trafficking is only one of them.
This basic kit clearly states that actual samples should be in package (15mL) and they were not. The company said that they are add on's but that is not what the heavy card stock package indicates. I received the item as a gift, so I can't go back to the giver and tell her what a junky gift this was. If this is any indication of how the company does business, then stay far away!
My monthly order of Oct has not arrived. And this was ordered last Oct 3. They cannot seem to coordinate with their local courier. I've been calling and i've been emailing and i have received standard bull***! Answers as if it was my fault i have not received the package. Some of us work and do not stay in the house everyday. Packages need to be coordinated for delivery and there is NONE from both youngliving and their nominated local courier. I have already canceled my monthly orders and have decided to explore other oils due to this experience.
It is a wonderful company that cares about human body and nature. If you are into healthy living and things good for your body you should definitely check Young Living website and purchase some goods! Their products are 100% natural and does miracles to your health. Try them out and let the products speak themselves.
I have had nothing but great experiences with this company, I always receive the correct order (been an ER member over a year now btw) and they arrive the same time every month so there is no wondering where my package is. I had to stop my ER membership temporarily due to personal finances and the representative that helped me out ( Lori member # *******) was polite and helpful. This process was fast and painless and I was informed I can jump right back into the program at any time. Thank you Young Living for filling my house with wonderful smells, helping my body with healing during flu season as well as joint pain but mostly for being a pleasure to do business with. Answer: Going to the farm and visiting headquarters clearly made Youngliving the choice for us we love all the other companies but as a dental professionals we cannot take any chances with diluted product and we don't like how other companies continuously a very negative Youngliving seem to be about positivity so it's what works for us We now have 17 medical professionals and their entire office is using Youngliving as well as 11 hospitals Everyone's happy and that's really what matters
