I recently bought a blush colored blazer, wrap skirt and purse from Genuine People. You know when an article of clothing has a little weight to it due to a nice, quality fabric and lining? THAT. The skirt is perfectly fitted and I get tons of compliments. I'm 5'8" and the flare hits me at the perfect height. The jacket is just as pictured (which can be a tricky color to get right) and I find myself wearing it 100 different ways. So worth it, will buy from them again.
Love loved my new Christmas coat! It's so comfy but super stylish. Love the versatility of it! It can be layered with so many colors and really brings the outfit together. I had to get a smaller size and the customer service was off the hook! Love talking to real humans who actually care about you and want to make sure you have the best experience! I'v made five purchases from Genuine People over the past year and time and again was very impressed by the quality, style, and level of customer service.
My last purchase was a bit frustrating since I purchased a pre order item that was kept being pushed back in production, so instead of waiting 14 days for my item to ship I had to wait about a month. Once ready to ship Genuine People upgraded my order to overnight shipping, which was super thoughtful. I finally received my purchase and it was well worth the wait! The quality is fantastic, size and fit is exactly as described. I've been wearing my leggings to work, yoga and on the weekends, so versatile! GP truly goes above and beyond for their customers! I own a few GP pieces already that I love, but my latest experience with their customer service is what will keep me shopping here. The post office was having issues delivering my order, and Bianca from GP not only tracked the package down but also made sure the post office held it for me. I was so excited for my new piece, however, the post office had damaged the box, and of course the piece inside was damaged as well. Bianca instantly tried to find me a new one, and unfortunately it was sold out so she refunded me right away without me even having to ask. This entire exchange with Bianca happened in ONE day. I've never experienced such amazing customer service let alone had an issue solved in one day. Thank you, Bianca!

I bought a sweater from Genuine People (GP) last month and wasn't too sure what size would work best for me. Fortunately, GP is one of the only online clothing brands I have found on Instagram that has an actual telephone customer service line. I gave them a call and they helped me decide on what size would work best for myself! It fits wonderfully thanks to their help and input!

I returned several items and found that weeks later I never received the refund. I had to email customer service who then acknowledged that for some reason they never gave the refund and then promptly issued the return. But who wants to go through that? Check their credit card statements, email, ugh what a pain. I would prefer to give my business to a company that doesnt just let refunds that fail to make it their customer slide.

This website is a scam, I waisted 200 bucks on a dress I stalked for months & it turned out to be totally unwearable. The fabric was thin polyester, all the details, including metals uses in the garment feel cheap. I was extremely disappointed. Zara quality at ten times the price.

I ordered a coat from GP and was indecisive about color so I ordered a new one, once I got that one, I decided I wished I stuck with the first. I have been a huge pain in the butt for them but they have been super helpful in offering me options to get the coat I need without giving me a hard time at all! The coat(s) have been beautiful and I'm excited to start wearing them as the weather gets cooler! The chat feature has been amazing and you can pretty much guarantee you will get amazing service if you run into any issues. I have not received the refunds for my returns yet. I know that is an issue for some people. I am confident I will be reimbursed everything I am owed based on their customer service team but I will keep this updated either way!

I returned a jacket over a month ago and inquired about the status. I then was informed there was a mysterious 'stain' on the jacket and the legitimacy of my return was TBD. All of the tags were on the jacket, I returned it in the appropriate time and even paid the shipping myself as their return tags are not accepted in Canada. Curious as to why I had to be the one that initiated the conversation? The photo they attached of the alleged stain was barely visible in the picture also. Really disappointing as I really loved this brand but this is simply horrible customer service.

I have shopped with Genuine People many times and I adore their clothes. Some really cool unique pieces (the quilted down jacket is one of my favorites). I have asked them to change orders sometimes or apply a discount if I forget and they always do it. Also shipping time is now much quicker since 2017.
Big fan.
They don't advertise the return policy, basically you can only get a credit if you buy something on sale, which is almost everything. Clothes are cheap and I've seen the same stuff on other sites for way less money. I just used my credit and will never buy from

The prices are steep which leads you to believe that the quality will deliver. I paid $200 for a purse which I believed to be leather but it is faux at best. Most the clothing in unlined and poorly stitched. They run sales so that you can't return things not because they are actually offering a discount. Customer service is horrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - they are featured in a lot of fashion blogs but listen to all of the awful review of this company. A nice website and photographs does not equal a good company.

In the width, where the strap goes across the foot, they run a bit wide. If you're in between a Euro size 37 and 38, we'd recommend sizing down to the 37 for this particular style. Hope this helps!
