After spending 2 hours (2 times) on the phone and going through 8 different representatives my problem was never solved. The things I was told when I transferred from one location to another were not true. I would stay away from them if possible.

I scheduled someone to come out and re-hook-up my internet atleast 15 times and no one came. They sent tech that was unable to re-hook-up my internet. Tech stated that they would send someone that day. It has been 3 weeks and, when I called, they Said it would be another 8 days. Their phone calls are answered in the Philippines! There is no communication and they lie when they tell you they are coming
Stay away from this company. I would pay double just to have someone else. But I live in condo and the President signed a 2 year contract! They suck!

Wow is horrible!

They came out and changed our line and modem on Friday... Called them on Sunday to tell them the internet went out again and now they want us to wait until Wednesday for a technician to come back out/I work from home and I'd be losing $400 a day because of that... Wow is the worst f****** company to deal with!

Inept customer service

I have struggled with WOW for almost 3 years. They are unable to manage billing, customer service is nonexistent and they do not care. Do not sign up for WOW.

HI, I live right across the street from WOW so obviously I want to help a local business, right?! No contract and reasonable rates--don't be fooled, the service doesn't even work in MY neighborhood! So I IM'd to cancel, but you're not allowed. You MUST speak to their representative, only, that's not possible in a reasonable timeframe. So I returned the equipment, with a note saying, I've tried to close my account, I was hung up on twice after waiting for almost an hour to speak with someone in your closing department. Here's your equipment, bye. Two months later I get a call from their billing department saying I owe them money for the previous month, I explain that's unreasonable, tell him I'm over this whole scenario, and why. He refuses to close my account and calls back multiple, multiple, multiple times immediately, then refuses to stop calling (weirdo), so I blocked him. It's harrassment. I find out yesterday, my perfect credit is down 100+ points for the WOW $90. Steer clear of this money drag/mobster style utility. They'll ruin your credit to try and save their SINKING company USING the backs of hardworking folks such as yourself.

Tech support was unable to resolve my most recent disconnect - again. They just disconnected me when I asked for a credit to my bill for a 5 day period of not being able to connect. Good news - they'll send a tech to check the line and MY MODEM. My modem is new and has been working without any problems - until someone at WOW does some sort of "maintenance" and my connection goes out. If it wasn't a monopoly, I would kick them to the curb and switch to some other incompetent company.

This review would be a Big Negative 5 stars. If possible. I have moved into my new house on 19 August 2023. I have tired to return their equipment to their closed office in Columbus, GA. I am a disabled combat veteran and I can not open their misfunctioning equipment return drop box, plus it is already so full of other returned equipment. I have called them already 5 times requesting a shipping label so I can take the equipment to FedEx to be returned. I have heard the same response 4 times previously. " We cant email you shipping labels but we can send you return boxes. I think that it's a design flaw in order to try and stick me with the bill for the equipment that I can't use in my new home currently. I am not playing this game with them for my hard earned money especially since my account was terminated by myself on 19 Aug 2023.

Over an hour wasted talking to technical service at WOW who are no more than human robots - basically who read out of service manual and essentially ask you to perform the same "disconnect and reconnect power" (in different flavors;e.g. Standing up, sitting down, eyes closed, standing in your head….you get the picture) for every internet issue imaginable. From wow senior management contact their technical team and asked them to diagnose and correct an issue for them. This will be the only way to experience first hand this agonizing and painful experience that every customer faces when dealing with them. Absolutely pathetic and clueless. Technical team needs revamping. Very frustrated at the time wasted with these human robots.

I would rate them as a zero if that option was available! Constant connection problems when changing from DVD to TV. Remote constantly disconnects from service. Last 3 days TV pixilating and audio issues. Last time i called due to outage on wait for 43 minutes without anyone answering. Currently on wait for 10 minutes while filling this out. Had a Rep call a couple of weeks ago due to previous low rating, he told me they are discontinuing their TV service and use another service. This company is terrible, I reget leaving AT&T with their losy service but they are much better than WOW!

Absolute dog$#*!

248$ for 100mbps internet that doesn't work right half the time go with starlink if you want actual internet sure it's 500$ for the equipment but it's an 100$ monthly you can make back months upon months of money

I keep receiving bills from WOW stating I owe over $300.00.
I had to contact the company a second time to get a return package to return the equipment with.
I was informed that a needed to return the equipment within 30 days (which I did, kept receipt) I would be all set. Not sure what is going on...I phoned to only be put on hold and told to pay the whole sum...the service people did not know what to do? So i keep getting billed a monthly payment plus the equipment fee when I have cut off service a month ago?...I do not want to take any more of my personal time dealing with this issue, when it is the company who is not following through?

I'm still angry that WOW closed our local office. At least when the office was still in existence I could talk fact-to-face with a person who was American and spoke and understood English! I hate having to talk on the phone to someone in another country who doesn't speak or understand English. Maybe I'll try another provider but I don't know which one. If WOW would reopen the offices and hire only Americans for customer service I would consider staying.

Least reliable

Goes down every single day, multiple times a day at random. Takes multiple minutes to come back each time and some nights just doesn't come back on at all. Least reliable service provider I've ever used in any of the 10+ states my family has lived in.

Switched to WOW+. Huge mistake. Sporadic picture and video problems. I even avoid certain channels because it's so irritating to watch. Forget their customer service reps. Little to no help. That's if you can even understand them. I even talked (?) to one rep that I had to constantly ask to repeat herself because I barely could understand her and there was a rooster constantly screeching in the background. It would be a joke if it wasn't so ridiculously expensive. Need to find another provider.

I'm not a WOW customer. They connected a cable to one of my neighbors and ran the cable across my yard to the neighbor on the other side. I don't know why because customer service doesn't know and they won't give me a local number to call. My backyard is always locked when I'm out. They had to climb my fence to put the cable in place. The customer service rep dropped a dime on them when she told me they are required to get the owners permission before entering their property. They can't even tell me when they will do something with the cable. Sometime between 1 and 5 on Friday. I have to stay home and wait for them to remove something I didn't ask for. They will probably charge me for the removal.

Don't use WOW

Sorry but I really hate these people. I hate them because they lied to me and they waste of my time. My time is valuable. Just as valuable as theirs. I called wow to disconnect my cable but retain my Internet. I was told this would be no problem they would switch off the cable and I would not need to do anything and I would not need a service person to visit. Two days later I received a box with some new equipment. I did nothing with it. I shouldn't have to …they told me I didn't need to …and the Internet was working just fine. The cable tv was disconnected but internet continued as before. Then I received a notification that I was going to be billed if I didn't send back the old equipment. So… I disconnected the old and installed the new exactly as before.
And nothing worked. I called them, and some robotic Philipino walked me through everything they could …and still I was without Internet. They told me I was going to need to have a service tech come out. … I told them wait… I disconnected the new devices. I reconnected the old equipment and everything worked again. I am now sending them back the new and unnecessary equipment. And I will begin immediately to look for a new Internet provider. I just wasted three hours of my time for nothing. The people at WOW are idiots or liars or both.
