Woodenstreet has a system which is even worse than government bureaucracy. I will want to discourage anyone who is planning to order from this company. This is my story:
I ordered a side board worth twenty one thousand on 19th July. At the time of sales enquiry I was assured delivery in 5-6 weeks. I was also told that an account manager will be allocated to me who will provide me regular updates of process and manufacturing.
When I placed the order through their app, I was given a timeline of 6-8 weeks for delivery.
Today, I'm running into the 8th week and till date I never received any update from the account manager except a mail at the time of placing the order. The app also updated the status to "in-manufacturing" after 4 weeks only and till date the status is just the same.
They make sure that the customer makes the full payment at the time of order and there is no option to cancel the order. Customer gets no clues on what is happening with his/her order and whether the furniture will ever be delivered or not.
Since last 4 weeks I have been calling their customer care number every week but to no avail. They have worst customer care system I have ever come across. On every call someone would assure me that my order is under assembly or manufacturing or polishing stage and they would either provide me the pictures of the product getting manufactured or the account manager would call me back. So far nothing of that sort has ever happened.
There is no system in place to register a complain or escalate the issue with any higher authority. In case of any concern all one can do is call the customer care number, wait endlessly for someone to come on line and then deal with some incompetent, insensitive, unprofessional person who has been trained like a robot.
Today they told me that my delivery will get delayed by further two weeks!
I have no visibility into whats happening with the money I paid, what is getting manufactured, whether something is getting manufactured or not.
One of the biggest mistakes I have made is that I placed my order with them instead of Urban Ladder or Pepper Fry.
My first product with WoodenStreet and I must say the most horrible experience with them. Order ID#*******. They are the most unprofessional people running a business. Cant stick to a commitment and if that has slipped there is no communication from their end. I had to repeatedly call them over a period of 2 weeks continuously trying to find out status of the delivery. It has been more than a month and I have not yet received the product. One of the representatives on their support number(Sachin Bhardwaj tells me gaadi to apne raaste pe hai aur apni time pe pahunch jayegi) This is what you get to hear from their support team after a delay of more than 2 weeks. Their escalation manager(Satish) does not have the decency as well. He was on the call with me and tells me he will get back and then transfers that call to a support representative. I just cant imagine how terrible that is from a customer service point of view. Overall I have not received their product and now I do not trust them for their product also since they could not get me trust what they said and committed. If anyone buying from these people please ensure that you have written commitments from them else you are going to end up having an experience like me. I hope they understand what customer service is and learn to be responsible for what they are doing. THanks!
It is 13 weeks and my order is still not with me, which I was promised would arrive by the end of July (06 WEEKS FROM ORDER PLACEMENT). It is a huge order running in lakhs.
I have been calling every single day, have sent emails, and have had several conversations with various people, each of whom has given me a different status about my order. They also have a no Grieveience Officer(which is mandatory according to the Information and Technology Act) to escalate grievances to.
The last and final resolution that was promised to me was that if my order does not arrive by 15th September(12 weeks later!), I would get a full refund. As of yesterday, I was told that the order had still not been shipped.
Each day I am promised a resolution by the end of day and then the person concerned never gets back to me, and when I follow up the person is on leave or not available. This is outright ONLINE FRAUD, and now all I want is a FULL AND IMMEDIATE REFUND, which they are refusing to give.
The avoidance in addressing this matter, and only buying time with excuses and not taking calls or replying to emails(as you do not wish to clearly do not want to put things down on record), only further strengthens my point that I have been cheated as a customer with false promises, false delivery timelines, false updates, and that fact that as a company you are not willing to refund my money, even though the fault is entirely theirs.
This just proves what an unethical organization this is and one to be avoided at any cost.
THEY HAVE STILL NOT RESOLVED THIS ISSUE.
I had placed an order on 27 Jul 2020 and as of today (14Sep) product not delivered & neither a favorable resolution. After waiting for 1.5 months I get a mail from them saying they will not be able to deliver the product. WS doesn't even have the courtesy to inform in-advance to the customer that there would be issue.
I have been on call/chat/raised a ticket and have been running behind them for past 4 days and no response yet.
Now they are tell me to shell out more for their lapse and get a different variant as replacement.
They are not even sharing the justification on why & how the extra charges have been arrived?
Don't get me started on their customer service. They say they'll call back and never do. They say raise the ticket and give a webpage link which doesn't work. The contact number mentioned in their web pages for local stores are switched off. They don't share any escalation contact details (neither mail nor phone).
The escalation manager keeps her official phone in office and leaves. Their chat system also just keeps transferring your chats to so called manager who does the same what the earlier person did.
I have all the details of the call records and details (person/time/number) also the chat responses, the web page error pic.
Looks like they just want to dupe people, by all these scams.
Also, for some reasons it looks like a scam. Imagine, you pay 25k+ to a company and they have the funds until the product is delivered which is 1.5 months in this case.
In this 1.5 months they can use these funds for their needs/invest/rotate/gain interest/... so on... and after that they say it'll be refunded...
So they get to make money of my hard earned 25k+ for 1.5 months. Imagine the amount of money they would have done with 100 people (conservative number) like me...
100 * ******* = *******00 (25 lac) for 1.5 months...
Considering a simple interest itself they would be making atleast 5lac from your funds...
If any one is ever planning to buy from this wretched company, please don't. If anyone is planning to invest in this fraud company, please don't. All the good reviews you are reading are all fake paid reviews to cheat and mislead first time customers like me to buy their stupid products. I had only gone to check out their Chandivali store to see a bench as I was checking other sites out as well. The next day itself the sales girl from the store started hustling and pestering me to buy that bench. The calls from the call center was non stop till I had to block them. The sales lady was trying to upsell their expensive Dining table and chair set. Thank God for some reason I passed that offer and only ordered the bench. They made me make a full payment and to cut a long story short, they simply just disappeared after getting the money. The time limit on their order form and website says 5 to 7 weeks. It's 3 months now and they have not delivered the product. Their call center chat people talk like $#*!s who have no clue and the Chandivali sales lady just ignores your messages for updates or when the delivery is ever going to take place. I will be taking them to consumer court. It's a very easy process online and if anyone else has this badexperience with them which I am sure most of us do please do not hesitate. It's a simple process online. For all future buyers, please don't even think about buying from them. The pictures on their websites are also not the real ones. Quite a bit of disparity between the pictures and the actual product at their store. Hope this helps other buyers. Lokender Ranawat and his team of monkeys should be ashamed of themselves for cheating people of their hard earned money.

2. No Order number generated.
3. Customer service will ask you to call a number which is never answered
