Cannot get domain transferred and the phone number for support just sends you to another page. Have sent message to BBB to report the rip off.
Used free version, then when totally happy set my site live with paid offer. Look out for the regular 50% off promos.
Be sure to deactivate auto renew. They charge me double the price on renewal and would not refund my money when I cancelled.

They spend tons om money youtubing 3rd party promoyers yet zero on support.
I am an avid reviewer on various sites. It is extremely rare that I give a poor review. I believe in praising good support and service everytime I receive it as people generally tend to complain more than praise those who make a difference in service. However, guess there's a first time for everything. WIX used to have excellent tech support. One was actually able to reach a Live tech quickly and that tech was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. Now, one has to spend a half an hour humoring WIX's "bot" in order to get a live tech to call. Once the "tech" did call, they were clueless, impatient, condescending, and could not assist even when provided with detailed info on what was going on and they disconnected me which, I am sure, they would say was accidental. After, again humoring the WIX Bot, another tech called. I picked up the line, said "Hello, numerous times and received no response. Afterwards, I received a text from a tech claiming they tried to reach me multiple times. This was totally false as my phone was beside me the entire time. Once upon a time, I applauded WIX via review and email for their stellar tech support. Unfortunately, like many other companies, it appears WIX customer support has been demoted to a non-essential service.and replaced by "as long as the credit card goes through, we're good to go." In this case, it's a shame because WIX is a great site builder. However, if you need support, don't bother. Just hunker down, your on your own. One would think that in this digital age where a website is crucial, WIX would realize there needs to be savvy, professional tech support. After all, if your business doesn't thrive, guess that's one less customer for WIX. I have 25 years of IT and 35+ years top-tier executive and marketing support experience. Intuitive and customizable. I created a few websites with Wix without technical knowledge and they looked exactly like I wanted.
Their ap does not work. I tried for four days, eight hours a day and I could not get it to work. No itegrity.
There's a lot of Awesome template that you can use here and also you can costumize your owon website.
We are very happy with the bells and whistles provided. We can choose to auto renew, renew mnually or cancel at the end of the term.
Wix doesn't have respect for other businesses what so ever and the Customer support team is so $#*!ing poor. When you make a call to them they are just there to talk with you instead of solving the issue. If you started your business with Wix I just want to say that you are finished, there is no way to go away from Wix or it is but it is so painful that your $#*! will hurt. We wanted to transfer our Gsuite from Wix to google as they were charging us 3* of the price we can get from Google and as we are going to make our own website but the transfer of the domain and Gsuite has been so much pain, its hilarious. Wix tells us that the transfer has been done properly and Google tells us that it has not and that we need to get in touch with Wix. The google admin panel tells us that our account is still associated with Wix. We cant enter Gmail, Google Drive, or any other products and Wix tells us that it will take several days for Wix to fix this problem. Can you just think about when you cant receive important sales emails and in a critic time where you are in tenders worth over 500.000USD? Or can't work because all of your files were stored at Google drive and because of poor people with small brains that work at Wix don't understand how to do their job correctly.
With the greatest respect to all people that reads this, DO NOT GET ASSOCIATED WITH WIX IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHAT SO EVER, EVEN IF OTHER PLACES COST MORE GO WITH THEM INSTEAD.
Today's lesson - Never buy anything from jews.
I am retired and on a fixed income, so I look for a lot of free stuff, but it is getting harder and harder to find anything that is free. I mentioned Wix because they are a prime example of a site that presents themselves as free, when in fact they are one of the most expensive web building sites on the internet. I know because I went to their site because they said it was free. In just a little of 2 weeks time they were into me for well over $300 and climbing. There wasn't anything on their site that was free. They offered email... free? Heck no. Expensive, of course. They offered hosting, I already had a web hosting site, they tried to get me to leave that site and buy their hosting, which turned out to be more expensive. I cannot fault Wix for anything wrong other than the fact they claimed to be free. They are not free nor are any of the other web building sites. I have chosen to do business with a site that seems to be reasonable, "Bluehost". They only charged me $2.95 a month for hosting my site. Although I did have to pay for 3 years to get that price.
One other thing... These sites all say they will help you build your site. Yes they will, for a hefty price. So be aware that you will get nothing for free, no matter what their site adverts tell you. All you can do is try to find the best value at the site you chose to use.
Another little bit of advice. Never ever never chose the sites that come at the top of the list when you google them. That goes for any business, because they all pay google to list their site at the top or very near the top. Look for the sites further on down the list.

I am the owner of Bagatelle LLC, a small online antiques shop and my website is hosted by Wix.com.
I have been using Wix.com for about 5 years and use "wix payment method" to receive payment via credit card.
I made a sale for $8500 plus tax on May 26th, 2023 paid by American express.
However, soon after the payment was made, I received an email from Wix saying that I needed to update my bank information (even if it did not change in 5 years).
After 5 phone calls, I uploaded several documents with my bank info, all matching Wix requirements, and tge information I had to enter manually. According to the differents persons I had over the phone my documents would work.
However, after probably 3 hours over the phone, about 10 attempts to download different documents, trying to fix that situation, it has systematically been rejected with no explanation. I was guaranteed over the phone that I would be reached out by email if that was the case, but it never happened.
Obviously, the persons I had over the phone systematically refused to give me the contact information of the department that is taking care of the payment system authentication just to make sure that such a situation will never resolve.
Since I am enable to get my money, I asked Wix to reimburse my client which after 3 days has still not be done. When I asked over the phone when it will be done, no one was able to answer.
A supervisor was supposed to call me back and it did not happened yet.
I can't get my money, the client can't get his money back, I will lose a client and a big sale, will damage my company's reputation because wix is enable to update my bank info that hasn't changed in 5 years. The structure of the company does everything possible not to resolve that situation and its best for the customer not to collect evidence as the only way you can reach them out is by calling them
DO NOT USE THIS APP. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST.
I received a payment from a client, for services rendered Junr10th, over 3 weeks ago. And as of today 7/4/23, I still haven't received my payout.
They make you request a call through the app, and someone will call you back that either don't understand you or the App.
NO MATTER WHO YOU SPEAK TO, THEY WILL ALL TELL YOU the below (this statement is screenshot from my email)
"It has been passed to our Compliance Department for review. Our team is actively working on your case. Please note that we do not have an estimated completion time, but we are working diligently to resolve this.
You will be updated as we progress. Thank you for your patience.

They will not reach out to you. The person that reaches out to you from your requested phone call, claims not to have a way to communicate with the compliance team, other than through email and they don't have supervisors available on the compliance team for you to speak to andd there is no way for you to communicate or contact the compliance team.
I have 5k just sitting in the platform and it seems like the only way you/I will get it is to request it as a refunded from the site to the client and ask the client to resend the payment another way.
Wost site builder EVER! PERIOD! Just see their forums or search on google and see for yourself what is going on with their broken editor!

The recording first said, that "due to call volume, i would have to call back when they next opened on Monday (feb 13th!)" which means that they haven't changed their answering message for days! Then I tried this morning, and there is a new recording that saids that they will next be open on Tuesday feb Feb 21st! So. Fuck. Seriously. We can't afford to rebuild our whole site again with another service! And i've/we've had WIX for over 6yrs now..

Answer: One of the things that really bother me with Wix (besides them being so focused on extracting money from their customers that they tend to forget about everything else) is that they make these changes and do not care one bit to inform their customers that they are going to do this, so all of the sudden one has a site that doesn't function and unless one keeps checking daily whether everything still works as it should, one end up having problems. That's one of the reasons why I'm out and do not plan to use them much longer.
