Angelfire

Angelfire went down yesterday, June 15th along with its parent company Lycos.com. Neither company elects to keep their clients informed of this company closing. Now all their clients have lost everything they had trusted with Angelfire.com. I will be considering a BBB case, and Legal action against them.

Magnificent website. It allows for html and css. It is very well designed, easy to use. I have given it a five-star rating. Saturday, June 3,2023.

Do not use free service here. My site was deleted for a stupid, illogical reason. It was deleted for remote loading and direct linking. What the **** does that mean. I did nothing like that to my site. I highly recommend another free web hosting site. That's about it.

While the free plan offers very limited features, it is ideal for experimenting and getting a feel for their services, especially the website builder.

The other hosting packages are divided into three packages that go by the names of Entry, Basic and The Plan. The Entry plan still shows Angelfire advertisements on your site which you can remove by opting for the latter two plans. The last plan allows you to host unlimited websites, which is great. However, in all the packages, you have a very limited disk space. The Basic plan offers only 100MB whereas at best, you can get 5GB in the most expensive plan. This counts as a downside since most other hosting providers offer much more disk space than this.

As mentioned above, the site builder can be accessed for free to check out how good it is. It has over 200 templates that you can use for your website. Editing is easy with the drag and drop tool where you can just place the elements wherever you want them, without the need for any coding knowledge. You also get a free domain with the site builder. You can browse their template styles online and check out which one suits you the best. Once you have found the right template, setting up the site is only a matter of minutes.

You have the option to pay for the hosting on a monthly or yearly basis. The yearly plan, of course, comes at a much lower cost compared to the monthly plan. If you opt for the 'Basic' or 'The Plan' plan, you can enjoy the first month for free. To gather more information, you can explore the website builder and join the community to receive assistance. Additionally, they provide reliable customer support to address any questions you may have.

Still let's you use html to build
Great the other web sites with their templates are not for me I build with html codes. Angelfire is much better freedom. The other websites are for people who do not know html codes. I cannot stand the templates of the others. Long live angelfire. Again top notch
