Difficulty understanding customer service person. Your app never works. I end up having to call customer service. You should list out of stock wines on your app. I prepare my order and then change it because everything is out of stock. GET BETTER!

I've been buying wine from your website for years. All of a sudden, almost every wine is unavailable to ship to my location, and then it says you don't take AMEX anymore.
What gives!?
Do you not want my money?
I called customer service twice, and both times, the woman sounded unable to rectify the situation, and kind of blew it off as "Well... we don't have a lot of wine in stock right now".
Is it because of tariffs?
Are the MAGAS turning the screws on you too?
I guess I have to buy my wine at Costco from now on...
Too bad.

Worst ever!

My order has been baking in 90+degree weather at FedX for days. I called Wine Insider for help. If I want to cancel and withdraw the order I have to pay a $25 restocking fee. That cooked wine should never be restocked and sent to another unsuspecting customer. Yuck!

My order of 17 bottles arrived as planned. 15 bottles in one box and two bottles in a second box.When I called to ask where the Magnum was I was told that only came with an order for 14 bottles because the box only handles 15 bottles. That I would receive it by this Tuesday as of this writing it is still in process. Not Anymore!

I'm a former regular customer of Wine Insiders. It USED TO BE cheaper to buy in bulk from Wine Insiders than to go to a nearby liquor store for the same type/quality of wine. It's no longer true. First, they added a "handling fee" of $3 per order that was being charged in order to help them expedite the shipping process. (Insert eye-roll here). Then they sent an email stating they were being "forced" to raise prices due to "inflation". Please! It's just greed! Nowadays, I can find the same lower-to-LOW-quality wines for much less money in my local liquor store. Don't be mistaken; the wine they sell at Wine Insiders IS INDEED low-quality; they buy excess/leftover stock from wineries who couldn't sell it. (Think of it as "Overstock.com" for wine). That's why Wine Insiders' wine *used to be* reasonably priced. Nowadays, though, you'll pay much more for the same low-level product. Now they've jacked up their prices and their "sales" and "specials" are a joke! I'd rather buy similar low-brow wines for less money while also supporting my local small business liquor store.

What a joke! Prices are not back to the way they were. They would be average 50% off original so called your high price set at $29.99. Now you are lucky to find a price that's 20% off your high original price. You may get some new suckers to pay these ridiculous prices on wine no other retail carries but old customers like me know your scam. Large corporations only exist for their CEO and stock holders.

Overcharging Sales Tax
January 5, 2024

I've been a customer for several years and was mostly satisfied. Sometimes the wine selections were sparse, but generally it was fine and the prices fair. Recently I discovered they have been overcharging the sales tax for my location. When I reached out to customer service, they credited one order only. I asked if they could fix it for future orders and was told they could not. Very poor customer service. I will have to reach out to my state attorney general to receive reimbursement for the years of overcharges. Check your taxes carefully if you order.

Please be aware that this is not something we want to happen to our customers. The agent who assisted you could have explained that the sales tax is automatically calculated by our system. If customers disagree with the charge, we can manually adjust it for the current order. However, the system won't automatically adjust it for future orders. Customers can contact us to request a manual adjustment for future orders.

To compensate for this inconvenience, we would like to offer a 50% refund on your current order. Orders never received!

I have been a customer of wine insiders for many years and have never had a problem. Recently I placed an order and was never notified that delivery was attempted (which I think it never was). Long story short I never received it. Called wine insiders and they put the order through again….a week later same thing, order never received! This happened AGAIN with the third try. There is a problem between Wine insiders and Fed Ex. I am done. Customer service was not very helpful.,

Any bonus credits, credits for onboarding new members are BOGUS! They pull your money and will not - do not apply your EARNED CREDITS. Even after calling customer service I was given a I'm so sorry but we cannot apply your credits. WHY you ask? Because I had an angel balance. What's an angel balance you ask? It is YOUR MONEY you are loaning the winemakers. So bottom line I had to use my outstanding balance I loaned them of MY MONEY before using my EARNED CREDITS! NEEDLESS TO SAY I QUIT THIS COMPANY!

Received an offer on Tuesday that didn't work on Thursday, was told it was a 3rd party and they couldn't help me. I contact the third party and they say they can't help me but I can sign up for an expensive membership instead... TOTAL SCAM

Have been a customer of Wine Insiders for the last six (6) years and do not buy wine from any other place now. The website is easy to navigate, read about the different wines and take advantage of their sales that can truly be exceptional. Ordering is easy, I am on the East coast and my box arrives within 48-72 hours. Never received a broken bottle and had any problems.

I was very pleased with my order from Wine Insiders. I found the ordering process simple, the selection very good, and the shipping process was great. I love the careful packing of the wines in recyclable cardboard. The wine selections were broad, domestic and international. I tried a few new types that I probably would not have considered. Happy with my purchase. (Although I wasn't able to be home to sign for the box, I was able to redirect the shipment to a local FedEx store. Very convenient!)
