I absolutely love weebly.com. Creating websites are often daunting but programs like this can assist even a complete noob create a professional looking website in hours. No need to know your HTML coding, etc as many gadgets are provided on this website already. All you have to do is drag and drop, that easy! Of course, if you're into HTML or like adding flash programs, you can do that to.
The other low raters are correct. The have no customer support if you encounter a problem (and you will), even a simple password reset. It's like the entire Weebly team has abandoned ship. I received email notification that my supposed website account was being automatically renewed, so I tried logging in to cancel it, and my password wasn't working. I requested a reset and no response. So, I requested again, and nothing. Their Support or Contact Us page is useless. Just a drop-list of FAQ. No way to email them directly.
Do yourself a favor and grab your domain from GoDaddy and research other websites if you seek a user friendly web builder to create your blog or other site. The simplest items are difficult on this site.
Ebates is a scam! Just like many other sites online! Their so called bonus checks- for $5 now ten! Is a joke! And fake! When I tried it! Years ago! I was disappointed when a cashier couldn't even cash it!- for five dollars! I had to throw it away where it belongs!- in the garbage! So don't believe those Tv commercials!-its all lies! Beware!
I have been trying to contact Weebly for 10 days. Each time I call I am placed on hold for more than 30 minutes without a customer service rep answering. I have also tried to submit a support ticket but I am not able to as each time I hit submit, a pop up shows up stating your ticket has not been submitted try one of these topics. This all started when I was unable to login to my website, I attempted to reset my password but I kept getting an error message. That's when I tried contacting Weebly to resolve this issue. I also needed to cancel/deactivate my website before another year of charges showed up, however since I have not been able to contact them for the past 10 days, that charge has gone through. They state that they have a live chat but that is also non-existent.
I have been using weebly for my business for about a year now and i have to say weebly sucks. The phone app is HORRIBLE, you constantly run the risk of ruining your website just by making edits on the app. The customer service is horrible, they have no idea how to deal with technical issues, and weebly always has technical issues. I wish I would of looked someplace else before starting things with this company, they are absolutely lazy and a waste.
My site, mymmbr.tk, was made easily using Weebly. I put it together with little coding knowledge and a perfectionist personality, but I don't think there is really much left to change. With Weebly, I have been able to create many sites in a short amount of time with little to no effort. Now Weebly just came out with "Apps" that can be used to further increase the value of your site. If I had found this place before, I would have made hundreds more sites, and would probably use them for every school project I have. Weebly is great as free, and the Pro features can be found for free elsewhere if you are dedicated to having them without the cost. If you're looking for a website creator, use Weebly!
Weebly just makes you go around in circles, over a month still can't settle the refund that they charged double on my credit card.
Horrible customer service, keep saying refund on their way, financial institutions holding the refund.(As I checked with bank, no refund pending)
To the end Weebly get back to you that refund request over 30days, can't get refund
I have started weebly from the very beginning, I don't remember what year.
Their customer services have been really down hill since a couple of years.
I am stuck with my website but I am really impatient with waiting time and
Very poor customer support.
I am forced to looking for another option now.
They simply don't care about customer service. They have one person working the phones and it is impossible to get phone support at any time of the day. They have a "live chat" option, but it never works. They really need to hire more tech support.
I have helped many establish webpages with weebly! They were great!
They are impossible to reach by phone, email yo-yo omg! They removed all my pages after 8 years! High school page, Historical Pages with pictures that cannot retrieve! They say for $80. They will bring my page back! They have my $80. And I still have not gotten the page back! I found an email from hem in spam mail? I get weebly.com mail, or used too! These folks need to be investigated!
I have had a domain and website through weebly since 2009. I pay annually for the domain, and it's threatening to unpublish it now even though I just paid $30 in Sept 2022 for a one year lease of my domain. It's March 2023, how can they keep $30 but unpublish my site simply because they want me to pay a subscription too. THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT no one responds, there is no way to contact them. They are scamming me buy selling me my domain and then pulling back now.
I got my website started on weebly and I it is a cause of constant embarassment. Their builder is buggy to new levels and you will discover unpleasant surprises in your published site that weren't in the preview. They make changing style grossly time consuming, and if anything goes wrong (which happens often) there is NO UNDO BUTTON! Expect frustration even with the easiest of sites. Sometimes their site goes unresponsive and you lose your work. If I could take back all the time I wasted trying to reason with weebly's junk interface, I would be a halfway decent web designer by now. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
Their whole site interface is riddled with bugs that will make you want to pull your hair out. Hoping for good site attention? Nope-lucky if you get 15 viewers of your webpage ever. Additionally their tech support people know little to nothing about the site. Do not waste your money-heck don't even waste your time with the trashy free version.
Weebly is very limited as what they can do. If you are starting an ecommerce business its best to just pay the money for a professional web builder. Weebly is behind in so many aspects and if your business goes well you can easily outgrow weebly. They recently added member sign. However once a member signs in none of there account info is saved. You actually have no gain and customer has no gain what so ever by creating an account with your website through weebly. What a waste. Way to go weebly. I am not even going to wait for my contract with them to end. I am paying the money for a professional website. If your a small store and don't require a lot options and don't mind a cheasy site, than weebly is definitely for you. I do want to mention that if you need customer support you can forget talking to a live rep, they only have live chat. Which takes even longer to fix your solution.
If I could give them MINUS 5 stars I would. I have purchased domain name registration and hosting from weebly for (too many) years and decided that I will never do business with them again. A few days ago, in the process of updating my website they blocked the publication of my website even though I have always paid on time and have purchased and PAID services in full for another 18 months. They blocked publication to extort more money. They also applied pressure tactics, told me numerous lies about the technical status of my website and applied codes to blocking me from transfering my domain name registration after I found much better and cheaper service elsewhere. I fought them and won. Don't let them do it to you.
Save your money they don't have a goiod track record with customer service. Overall everyone I know has had a terrible experience and extremely long waits when something goes wrong they have to repeatedly write to get help. I re
Worst support I have ever encountered. I have been waiting for months now to get some help from them. In the meantime I have NO access to my website. I cannot log in so I cannot follow any help links... Maddening. I just emailed them again begging for someone to help me and got a letter back saying that since it had been over 10 days I had to restart the case! The ball was in THEIR court for the next response, not MINE!
Weebly customer service was a dog chasing it's tail. The never answered my question directly and when I cancelled both my subscribsions they are still charging me. I have a 12 websites, only weebly sends me fraudulent bills. Their live chat is a live waste of time.
If you have a problem, you will never be able to talk to a real person. They have terrible customer service. I am not getting the service I paid for and I can't get ahold of them. There is no chat option, no email, and the phone support hangs up on me. They are awful! I'm hoping to find another provider before the 30 days expire, so I can get a refund. Awful!
Answer: Weebly has a lot of pages, this to me doesn't seem like one of them. You might get this error if you go there. 404 Error - Page Not Found They have a blog that can answer that or lead to that answer.
Answer: You need a paid plan, then you can get live customer service. You still can only get that during business hours. Keep your notes in front of you, they are tricky. Remember what you say in the live chat box because the chat box will not reveal what you were previously saying. They'll try to confuse you using that and try to change your story or something. Then they'll say is that all and end the conversation. Your problem not being solved you'll have to contact them again.
Answer: Confirm this with weebly, don't go there first. Looks like a hack attempt on your account to me.
Answer: I have tried the same and contacting Weekly is futile. They could care less about their clients.
Answer: Weebly does allow facebook marketing on their site. You should take a look at their complete Terms of Service, the most important restriction on advertising is: (q) include more than three ad units per page, or any advertising that greatly reduces the usability of the site. So, you would need to be careful about how many banners you include. That being said, many of Weebly's templates work really well with affiliate sites. The ability to insert HTML and Javascript files gives you a lot of flexibility. I've created a couple of demo sites that show how you can use affiliate data feeds on a Weebly site. You can see them here: http://www.webbuildersguide.com/website-builders-reviews/weebly-review/
Weebly has a rating of 1.3 stars from 157 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Weebly most frequently mention customer service, live chat and credit card. Weebly ranks 148th among Website Builder sites.
