The WEBstaurant Store is really bad store. They charge for shipping and not only. I wanted return item that I bought 2 days ago and the told me I need pay for shipping back to them (OK) and THEY WILL KEEP 30% OF COST. WHY? That is so crazy. Only idiot could set up so rules. They do that, because don't want people return items. They told me "It will better if you sell that item locally". WTF? Guys, be carefully with them.

This is the second time I have ordered from webstaurantstore. Both times were very simple. My first order arrived on time and is an excellent product that I use almost daily.
Ordered hotdogs from the site for a concession fundraiser was told it would arrive no later than the seventh (event is on the 10th) when I checked it on the fifth it had not shipped so I called customer service to cancel and they refused to cancel and they won't be here until three days after the event and I'm stuck paying for 480 hotdogs that I don't need because of this terrible terrible horrible customer service do not order from them you will not get your items in time

Mixer broke down after 3 weeks of use and they don't want to do anything about it!

I ordered a 4x8 floor mat from their website with the intension that the mat would be 4x8. When I received the mat it was 45" instead of 48". I needed the mat to fit a area and now Webstaurant won't return or give credit. Webstaurant doent care about customer service

Placed my order Oct 1/19, advised it would ship Oct 10/19. Needed this product for Oct 20th, I started to follow-up on the 15th. Finally they told me it wouldn't ship until after the 20th when I needed the product.
I had to follow-up, in my opinion VERY poor customer service

We are their newest customer. We registered a few days ago and placed order today. While checking out and paying with my card they confirmed my order and all of a sudden they canceled my order and closed my account. I repeatedly asked their Customer Support live chat but they are unable to help me. We contacted our bank and they also confirmed that the payment was approved. I do not know where to ask for help. I tried to reach all risk analyst teams through Linkedin and none of them have open messages. I am a new business and was going to launch a new range with a few pre-orders and these mishaps are unbearable for us. They are so overpriced u won't believe until u start shopping around.
After ordering from them a small item, I found it at another wholeseller for 60% less. Yes 60% with no exageration. I couldn't believe it. I felt I was taken.
So I decide to return the item and that's when the plucking of my payment started; over $33.78, they refunded me $5.95.
Eventhough I returned the item to them at my expense ($8.40), they took all the shipping I payed them to send me the item ($12.00) and 30% restocking and refures to fee.
My advice; stay away from this store, particularly if ur a small order. This people like big orders, the rest is small fry to them. They will fleece u! OVERPRICED!

Easy access to website. Has large variety of equipment. And pricing is unbelievable. Was at ace mart and the same rack I just ordered was $80. I just got it for $31.99 plus shipping.

We spent $200 on syrup containers that happened to be too small for what we needed for. Tried to make a return. It was impossible so we lost our money. I do not recommend anyone to buy here.

Placed an order yesterday for 2 trash cans for my shopping center found out todays they are not placing the order ask me to provide my ID card ok I did provide still they are not satisfied the address did not much freeking company disaded to do full investigation for lousy 283 for freeking trash can order.
I ordered some garbage cans from this company that were supposed to ship out the next day. I received an email from their 'EcommerceRisk' manager asking me to verify my billing address. They asked me to send a photo of a piece of mail with my billing address on it, which I thought was weird and annoying, but went ahead and did it anyways. After receiving that, they got back in touch and said it wasn't sufficient and asked me to send them a picture of my credit card any a photo ID! What reputable company asks their customers to send a picture of a credit card and a photo ID? The customer service is only available through their web chat and is completely unhelpful. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

This place is aweful. One click online and god help you if you made a mistake. 30% restocking free?! Stay away, these supplies are found on other more accommodating sites.
Webstaurant might be ok only for things such as coffee cups and nothing beyond that.
They won't stand behind faulty equipment the sell.

ADVICE - Just do chargebacks with your credit card or file complaint via PayPal. No matter what the replies are here, they have worse service than Amazon, etc. They will state in chats they are fixing issues they caused, and an email is incoming. Nope, just to get you out of chat and mark you down for their service quota. There is also no phone number to contact, since "we are an online only business". However, you might be able to get through on the phone number listed on the charge on your credit card. The first order I had an issue with, I was able to do that, though it took a while for someone to answer.
One order - sent 1/2 of my lot as a cheaper option
One order - sent an item in an ENVELOPE, which would be understandable if shipping was free. They charge an outrageous amount (calculate it for yourself, including dimensional weight).
The packaging is horrendous. Items shoved in boxes, little protection, too big of boxes that makes items bounce around. Not sure where they find their people, but it's a place devoid of common sense or the desire to provide passable service!
