DON'T EVER BUY ANY THING FROM THEM. BE aware they were sending damaged product. Thank you for your review, Jim. I am sorry that one of your drink mixers is not working properly. We certainly want you to have a fully functioning unit! The unit is backed by the manufacturer's warranty. After we reached out to the manufacturer on your behalf, we were informed that the motors on the HMD400 are an easily replaceable part (just one plug connection). In order to verify that the issue is with that single motor and not the whole unit, they have asked that you get one of the functional motors and switch positions with the one that will not work. If the functional motor has issues, then the problem is with the whole unit and would need to be replaced. If it works normally they should be able to fix the issue for you by just replacing the single motor. I ordered a 5 gal, glass dispenser, and a few other things, it came in two days, everything was perfect, and not broken so I am very pleased, will order from them again!

Please beware before ordering through webstaurant! They put false information behind a product that even the manufacturer said wasn't on their spec sheet. After we brought it to their attention they told us they would not return the unused product. Basically they said "Try and resale your $2,400 piece of equipment. It's now yours." It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We will be taking them to small claims court. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO BAD BUSINESS!

I see that we worked on this with the manufacturer and they confirmed that this unit can hold approximately 144 plates, but this figure will greatly depend on the dish profile and height. We do list this approximate figure on the item’s page. They also confirmed that the unit takes 2-3 hours to warm the plates. I am very sorry that this unit did not hold the quantity of plates that you needed it to. We do ask that our returns be unused, still in the original packaging and free of damage. Because plates have been put into the unit, we were not able to set up a standard return of it. I was excited to see that webstaurantstore carried the exact knives that I was looking for. They had a big banner at the top of their site saying "we ship from USA to Canada" so I was excited. So many USA companies don't bother offering shipping to Canada. So, I selected my items and was ready to check out. I spent a few minutes trying to get the form to accept my Postal Code, and it finally accepted it when I started with a capital letter followed by lower case, which was weird. However, my irritation came when I saw the shipping cost alone was higher than the $80 USD for my couple knives! I immediately backed away and started writing this review. I have had items ship from the USA for 10% of their cost. 100% is ridiculous. It would be nice to see some of these companies work on offering more reasonable shipping options for their friends up north! Contrary to what some may think, shipping costs on this side of the border are no longer used to subsidize feeding and housing for the polar bear delivery division.

My flour order went just fine. Then I purchased an Estella 8 quart commercial countertop mixer (#348MIX85V) because the description led me to expect it to be capable of mixing an 800g/40% water bread dough. When I attempted a 500g/53% water dough, it struggled to mix.
I attempted to return the item and was told "you used it, so no returns" despite the fact that one must use an item to determine whether or not it functions correctly. I then inquired about the warranty, figuring I may be able to contact the manufacturer, and was told the warranty was void due to me using the mixer for residential use.
Now I'm fighting for my $900 and still using my "residential" Kitchen-Aid Pro Stand Mixer that handles twice the dough as their "commercial" mixer with no hesitation or delay.

I have ordered from Webstaurant before with great results. So when I saw some lab coats that I was searching for on their site, I didn't hesitate to place my order. My staff usually takes a medium size, but because we are aware of size fluctuations, I ordered Large. When we received them, I had someone try them on. They were marked "Large", and which would have been accurate if the person was a child. None of us could get the coats on. So I went back online and initiated a return. The system rejected my return and indicated that I would need to speak with customer service. I entered into a live online chat. After explaining my problem, I was told that I could return the coats with a 30% restocking fee plus shipping. In other words, it would cost me more to ship them back than what I paid for them. When I objected to this, because their defective sizing was not my fault, she then offered to "split the restocking charge". See pic. I ended the chat. Soon afterwards I received a marketing email from Webstaurant. I went back into the chat and asked to be removed from any future contacts. The same rep then said she "would waive the restocking fee this one time" but I would still have to pay shipping. I basically told her to pound salt, and we would eat the loss and not do business with them again. I am posting this review everywhere possible.

When you buy from a company that has no restocking fees, you pay for returns that the company handles, indirectly, through higher prices. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order, as well as returning an order. Most companies do build it into their initial pricing, but we try to charge it only when it is needed. I looked into your order for you and do not see in the initial communication that we were made aware of the fact that the coats were so small that they would not reasonably fit an adult. In an instance like this, we request photos of the item so we can see the size discrepancy and provide a resolution when we can determine that the item is indeed defective. I was looking to purchase a pallet of Crystal Geyser water which comes in an 84 case pallet for 293$ which is an amazing price. I place it in the cart and put in the destination for this pallet to be delivered and to my surprise the shipping cost was shocking. To ship one pallet to my home would be $828.12 which means the pallet of water would cost me $1128. 12. There is no benefit purchasing from the wholesale company if the are going to give you a low price on merchandise and make it up on the shipping. This may not be the case for every item but this has left a bad taste in my mouth. I reached out to the company and the rep simple told me that they don't control shipping rates. I asked if if could avoid shipping rates by picking up the pallet my self she said the ware house is not equipped to handle customer pick ups, but isn't that what happens when the currier goes to pick up the merchandise. Walmart, Biglots, etc are allowed to pick up their own merchandise. They said try purchasing in larger quantities but the more I ordered the higher the shipping. I am truly disappointed.

Great products and speedy delivery but outrageous shipping charges. Love that there are plus size aprons available. The cobbler aprons, however, were small and didn't work.

Been a great customer for years. I bought a food prosser got it notice it was to small did not even open the box. Tried to return it and the tell me I have to pay$120 Restocking fee plus the postage! I would not do business with this company. I received my order with several bud vases broken and when I asked for a return RMA number to return the broken products back and asked for a refund with proof of the order being received with multiple broken items they replied back asking for still more photos! So, I bought the Hobart Equivalent of the 20 qt mixing bowl for my Hobart HL200 Legacy Mixer from Webstaurant because it stated on the page that my mixer model was compatible with my mixer. Placed the order, waited over a month for it, and then it came and didn't fit. Customer service has stated that even though I had the right model mixer, because my model is an "older variation" that's why the bowl didn't fit and that's not their problem. So, if you're reading this and ever see equivalent on the listing, DON'T BUY IT. If you buy it and it's not compatible, you're out of luck. Before this experience, I thought WebstaurantStore was great. Now, I'm gonna think twice before doing business with them.
