I ordered the same chef pants I always do, but this time from websturauntstore instead of chefuniforms. Every single item came in mis labeled and not as I ordered. Not one pair of pants came in as i ordered out of 4 pairs. Never using them again.
Item arrived damaged because it was sent in original packaging clearly not designed for the mail. It should have been placed inside another package and protected more. Especially when you consider the price I paid for the shipping. Customer service proceeds to school me in that since the item is generally used in the back end of a business it shouldn't be a big deal that it is damaged especially since the damage did not affect the usability of the item. It will cause the item to rust which is never a good thing that may come into contact with food. They gave me a partial credit for the damage but I would not order from this company again just because of the attitude that I should be okay with damage.

Ordered an expensive bar sink. The delivery company did not call to arrange drop off, showed up and actually had the yard guy, who doesnt speak English, sign for the sink and left it up against a tree in the front yard. The sink had several dents and a broken leg. The delivery company said it wasn't their fault and Webstaurant said it wasn't theirs so I'm stuck with a damaged sink. The companies idea for making this right was to offer me a 10% discount. Stay Away!

WebsturantStore is the worst company to buy anything from. I ordered 6 HYGEN Mircofiber Cleaning carts almost 6 months ago and paid over $7,000 and they were happy to take my money. Every month I get an update saying they're going to be a month delayed.
I bought these for a Veterans Affairs hospital through a government contract that I won. This company assures me every month that these carts are going to be shipped. When they're not shipped, they blame Rubbermaid. Every time I try to get the two companies together in order to figure out what's going on, WebstaurantStore gives me some excuse as to why that can't happen.
I used two other companies for other plastic products for the same contract. Everything was delivered within a week ($22,000 worth of product). I used ULINE and GRANGER and they were more than happy to take my money and fulfill their end of the deal.
WebsturantStore offered me a refund, but unfortunately I can't take the refund because the contract is already in place. They'll take your money and not fulfill their obligation.
I will never use this company again and I'll be sure to tell everyone else not to. I'll also copy and paste this text every review site I see.
If I could give zero stars, I would.

Ordered 20 some Lancast chairs and one was damaged during transit. I filed a complaint and they responded with apologies but decided no action taken. Disappointed. Also a black board sign was defective too but they don't do anything to customer's complaint. Even though it seems like a good deal but if the product is damaged or defective, they won't care.

This site ought to go out of business. Try to buy a table top and they tell me it will be shipped half a year later. I contact them and they said it is normal that "lead time varies". If I cancel it, there might also be a cancelation fee. WTF!

I bought another case of oval plates but these are world Porcelana fully vitrified plates so I put away the other 2 cases I bought of different kinds. They make me happy every day. I also bought some GET Industries oval plate covers for them to keep flies away from the food. I bought a marble rolling pin, a food dehydrator, and a bunch of other stuff. My boyfriend I think I bought my big blue ice crusher from them. My boyfriend bought a mini Donner, Carnival King popcorn popper, a hot dog roller. I can't stay awake anymore to find the rest of thje pics. Sorry.

The shipping CAN be murder on non commercial household shoppers, but if you are careful, you can do things a little at a time without going into cardiac arrest over the sticker shock. Their prices are actually quite fair. It's the shipping that kills you. If only they had free shipping over x amount of dollars instead of the flat rate of $99.00 a month for fee shipping. That's commercial! It's still worth shopping there as some of the things they have, you won't find anywhere else. I bought so many things in the last 6 months - year. 2 sizes of 12 to a box plain oval China plates made by Choice and Acopa, which are the same, basically, a french fry cutter made by Choice, the push plates and blade assemblies for it, a square heavy stainless egg ring which is well made, and a 20 lb bag of dry green peas. Pictured is only less than half of the peas. They were only $15.00 but by the time you add in shipping, they were $50.00. I didn't care. I was hard after vitamin rich dry goods and no place else I know of sells green dry peas. Today I'm buying the suction cup feet for the french fry cutter. I have had great customer service with webstaurantstore even one time when I had to temporarily cancel my order after I had already ordered because I forgot I had to do my vehicle registration then. Embarrassing. They were very forgiving. Nobody is paying me to say anything. I just believe in doing the right thing. Just the oval plates were a dream come true. I like eating off of oval plates. :D There's a sample of my cooking on one of the plates for a bonus. O, that was such a great meal. My boyfriend cooked the rice. I did the rest. He just ordered a commercial popcorn popper from webstaurantstore. He's a political consultant, so you can see how that might come in handy at a fundraiser for one of his clients or someting, plus, we just wanted one. I think he ordered something else, too, but I can't remember what it is.
ADVICE - Just do chargebacks with your credit card or file complaint via PayPal. No matter what the replies are here, they have worse service than Amazon, etc. They will state in chats they are fixing issues they caused, and an email is incoming. Nope, just to get you out of chat and mark you down for their service quota. There is also no phone number to contact, since "we are an online only business". However, you might be able to get through on the phone number listed on the charge on your credit card. The first order I had an issue with, I was able to do that, though it took a while for someone to answer.
One order - sent 1/2 of my lot as a cheaper option
One order - sent an item in an ENVELOPE, which would be understandable if shipping was free. They charge an outrageous amount (calculate it for yourself, including dimensional weight).
The packaging is horrendous. Items shoved in boxes, little protection, too big of boxes that makes items bounce around. Not sure where they find their people, but it's a place devoid of common sense or the desire to provide passable service!

Opted to have items overnighted as I really needed them. They charged me $70 for FedEx overnight then sent it standard delivery. I've spent thousands with this company and they won't get one more penny from me.

Terrible experience with this company. I ordered a shelving unit from them (based on the website showing availability). They sent an email stating that the item was in fact not available, so I cancelled the order. I did not have time to wait for it to come back in stock. I found what I needed somewhere else. The next day I reached out again to make sure the order was cancelled. Still no response. Two days later, I got an email saying, "good news! Your order is ready to ship!". I tried their great "live chat" feature to see if I could get anyone to respond. They informed me that it was too late and I was welcome to return, but would incur a restocking fee plus shipping. I asked for a phone number (since their cute live chat is so delayed and it didn't seem like I was getting anywhere), but they informed me that since it was an e-commerce business, they mainly relied on emails and chats to communicate. Really? Like the two emails I sent requesting to cancel the order? So now I get to pay for their mistake. This is why Amazon Prime wins every time. Buyer beware!

I placed a $6000. 00 order no customer support over 1 week still can't say when it will ship after they put on item 2 days now i need to spend 500 dollars to send a truck 4 hours to pickup and no service they are a lousy company not worth the savings

If you are expecting webstaurantstore.com to advice you as to what to purchase, they don't do that. Online chats are the only way to talk to customer service that I could see and if you ask the question, this is what I need, what product will fill that need? They will tell you, unapologetically, we don't do that. They almost say it, like this is normal. I plan on investing about 30K in equipment and yet their business model, as my rep put it, doesn't lend itself to this level of service. So why Chat? Buyer beware, the catalog is huge and finding the right product could be a job in itself. Which makes me wonder, what is the advantage of buying from them? Tell me, please!

Bought cupcake liners. Had to pay $20 for shipping and good packaging according to them. Liners arrived smashed. When I contacted customer service was told they still look usable. I said my concern is that I was sent less than perfect item she then went in to the reason for high shipping prices based on weight etc. Cupcake liners weigh nothing. Tried to get ahold of someone of facebook they blocked my comment never responded back to my message. Will not use them again. Brown liners are from webstaurant. White from etsy.
