Rip off

We bought a sectional OMG it's as hard as a rock has stains where the cushions go, has rips in the ottoman and the sectional it self. What a piece of crap save your money and go else where. They never got back to me or anything and the stitching is coming undone

I ordered two stools from Wayfair in order to have a counter eating area in my new apartment. I wanted something inexpensive and ordered two open-boxed items (when I placed the order I think the website said they had 5). The day after I made the order, I received an email telling me that they could only fulfill half my order. I called immediately asking them to cancel the order, the order was for 2 and if they could not fulfill it it seemed a reasonable request. I was told that a shipping label had been created and they could not cancel it. I said I'll just return it. They said there is no returning open-boxed items. An escalation got me the same response. It shipped out to me the next day.

Why would I want only one counter stool when I was looking for a matched pair? They are unable to fulfill their agreement with me, and attempting to force me to take their leftover. I am doing my best to fight it. I have notified my credit card company that I am disputing the charge.

What kind of company makes the customer bear the brunt of their own computer errors?

Purchased outdoor Christmas item 11/15/22. Two piece Santa/Snowman metal painted outdoor decor. By end of December, Santa shed large sections of paint. Asked to return it for refund. They offered to replace it. Two days later said item not available but nothing about returning Santa for a refund. I called. They said we'll give you 20%. I said why. They said "that's policy." There's no WRITTEN policy that I can find. I pushed issue. Called a week later. Was told we'll give you 50%. A week later got less than 50%. I emailed why. They said we made a mistake. The 50% was for another item. For the one you are discussing we'll only give 20%. I asked WHY. They emailed back-"we'll notify manufacturer and you'll hear from them." Their policy says "Holidays purchases returns accepted until 1/31. So NOW I emailed them to ask about the extension and am waiting to hear back. But if they can't replace the Santa, why can't I get 50% off of the price of the TWO piece? Where's the explanation for why they are only offering 20%?

Do not buy anything from wayfare. They charge extra shipping fee for returns and they cancel some of the orders without taking permission. All the stock is wrong and they are scamming people for money. Money thirsty wayfare.

Discrimination alive and thriving at wayfair

I ordered ad bed frame for after Christmas
And the assemble package for someone to come out and put it together

I ordered it quickly but the assemble price I felt was too high

The frame came today and I went back online to confirm that the assemble price I paid was accurate

The price I paid was $129
But when I went back to check it was $89 much a what I thought it was going to be

I called and talked to a first level customer service person and then spoke to DAWN a manager in their escalation department

Rude woman for sure

Ok here is the issue
I live in ******* zip code and approximately a half a block from the ******* border

So on the ******* and ******* zip code dividing line

I asked what the Assemble charge in the ******* zip code and it was $89 but in ******* they charge $129

This is discriminatory because I live in a zip code (I am a renter by the way) that has high wealth property owners

When I said this to DAWN she said did not care about the discrimination against me or what they were doing as a whole.

I've had this problem before because people will charge more going into the ZIP Code thinking that everyone in wealthy will discriminate against people in this ZIP Code and it's not OK.

I'm not a property owner. I'm a renter and I just happened to have been renting in this area for 20 years and Wayfair doesn't care about who they rip off and because people don't complain they just get away with it.

There's so much discrimination going on in the world it's not OK that a renter is treated with such disregard, I am an ethnic woman who has survived discrimination in every phase of my life.

Now I have to fight this with wayfair.

Hazardous and defective products sold and sent by Wayfair. After reporting and asking for a refund they still charge $100 as we had to open the box. Basically I've thrown $100 to the corporation to take back their $#*!ty products to protect my own family. Day light Robbery! Wish there was a way these corporations could be accountable for their actions. Stealing money from the general public in the name of e-commerce and convenience. Spoke to their supervisor EVA, she stated that "the product is not defective or hazardous it just doesn't suit my needs".

Called within 7 hours of placing order online. Knew I had made a mistake. For the next 3 days I was told I'd have to talk to my acct mngr but that I could not contact them and neither could customer service. Another 3 days they talk about cancelling when it had already shipped. 7 days later no return label via email because "it's" with the Executive Resolution Dept. Wayfair is a joke. Insufficient staff, jammed up with automated systems and fancy dept names like Executive Resolution Dept. What other retail company does business like this?

Bought a kitchen island from Wayfair that was listed at price X. Also bought a bunch of furniture to match that island!

Wayfair then cancels the order after a few days because they had apparently listed the item for a lower price than the supplier was willing to fulfill it at.

They were unwilling to still fulfill the order.

Very disappointing and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Customer got screwed here.

Please avoid doing business with Wayfair at all costs. It's not worth it. They don't care about you.

Save yourself the headache especially with larger or heavier orders. The home delivery and large parcel delivery services through Wayfair themselves are HORRENDOUS. There is always an issue. My company spent $12,000 on new desks for the office. $12,000! It was issue after issue with the delivery (which mind you showed up 2 weeks after it was originally scheduled due to errors on the delivery services end), MANY calls made to customer service, with 0 care from the 4 different supervisors I spoke with. I also had a large desk scheduled to be delivered to my home. The driver calls that he is there, I am working. I tell him he can leave it on my porch. He says okay. 10 minutes later I get a call that they did not deliver it because the driver could not find a safe space to leave it. Really? I just verbally told you it was fine to leave it on my porch. I told them they could take the desk back and refund me I did not want it anymore.

The Coffee Table I purchased has a smashed corner and a scratch on top that looks like they tried to cover it with a stain. The back and forth with Wayfair is awful. The last email I received from them said that, (the pictures I sent in), "doesn't look so bad, would you take 20% off?" I I know I'm going have to dispute with my credit card company. Highly recommend to not buy from this company.

Delivery Coordination

I ordered a new sofa from Wayfair. Included in the order, I requested their installation service and paid a lot for it. They take a cut of the service payment.

The service showed up today and no sofa was delivered. I called Wayfair, they said I was supposed to schedule the service myself. I have only the knowledge for the delivery except for Wayfair's estimate.

Why does Wayfair take a cut of the service charge when they put all responsibility for all coordination with the customer?

Oct 2022 orderd a corner TV console. Got a really good discount, free shipping and an extra $50 off for obtaining their credit card. OK expected it to deliver within two weeks. Then they said order was delayed until late November with no reason given. Plus I kept getting messages from them that I could just cancel and buy something else. I did not cancel because I really wanted this stand and I got a good deal. Then I get a message that delivery is once again delayed until mid December. On December 14th they send me an email saying that I canceled my order. I called customer service and I told them I did not cancel and want the stand but they were totally useless. However, they told me I could order it again at $170 more! Outrageous. In my opinion this company is a fraud.

I buy almost a 900 on bath accessories and all of them came with damage. Toilet leaking water, vanity all scratched and dents, vanity faucet missing parts. And they don't want to return my money back cause k don't open the boxes before 30 days. I understand the return policy. But how they can b stolen peoples money selling damage items to the people. Scams

How's that? Two purchases. I bought a faux floor plant for not a "cheap" price a few years back, but they put the wrong picture in the ad and I got a variegated plant instead that I've always thought of as tacky-looking. I wrote a review and contacted them thinking that Wayfair would correct or at least give some sort of refund, but when I went to the site THE NEXT DAY I found that the picture had been replaced with the correct one, of Mr Tacky. That was my first hint of who I was dealing with.
Last week I bought some plates for again not a cheap price and found the sticker giving the country of origin as THE country that ours, but not me, chooses most to deal with. I explained in my 2-star review that I don't think a country utilizing slave labor, such as the Uighur innocents, then charging top-line prices which gives them an imbalance of profits and thus world domination of markets, as well as money to be utilized for world intimidation, should get my money. Wayfair was more than happy to take my return, for the $29 fee. So there's a country and an online "company" I will try not to do anymore business with. I considered giving them 2 stars, then realized it would raise their aggregate rating. Third-tier, one-star is where they belong. Thank you all.

I ordered some stairs for my senior pet, what I got looks nothing like the picture and the price doesn't reflect what they sent me $84 is a lot being on a fixed income, but my pets health is important and this product they're selling? Is a crime! I didn't get what the site displayed! Wayfair? Not fair! I won't be a returning customer!

I ordered a Casmer Model Contemporary mirror from Wayfair. It took over 2 weeks for delivery. While waiting for my mirror, the price went down $100. I spent $900 for this mirror. I called and asked for a price match. I was told "No." They had shipped the mirror to me already so they would not price match, even though I had not received the mirror. When I asked to return it, the rep said they would CHARGE ME $143 for returning it! Very bad business. My mirror finally came 3 weeks later and it is beautiful! However, If you can find the same item someplace else, I would not recommend Wayfair.
