I made an Order with Wayfair for a present, the next morning I got an email that Wayfair had cancelled my Order due to their company's algorithum for deciding if my credit card was valid. I called the company number and a sales person answered, I had to give all the information again for the order, which they stated they would have to go through their billing department as it was rejected the first time so I had to go back on the site to order again, now the price was up by $20 from the night before, but they (the site) gave me a 10% discount, I went through all the ordering steps, and GUESS what, they did not give me the discount, so due to their error I ended up paying over $20 more. I would NOT Have done this but this was a gift my niece specifically asked me to get. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with an item I purchased. The website description indicates it item will hold 6 pairs of shoes. I have small womens feet and it only fits 4 pairs! Along with the horrible assembly instructions, I wasted 3 HOURS of my time to have something that is falsely advertised. Originally had the option for a 40% discount or to return, after selecting return I realized I did not have it in my to take it apart and lift everything again so I asked to either donate it or get the 40% discount. The discount somehow went down to 25% because it fits 6 pairs of KIDS shoes even though the website description DOESNT SAY THAT. How was i eligible for 40% off 12 hours ago but now I am NOT? Nothing has changed! This is HORRIBLE service, if you are going to offer someone a discount, you should put an expiration date on it! Beyond upset with this entire process. Usually I love wayfair! But today, I am going to spread the word to everyone that they are no longer the company they once were.

Poor customer service

It baffles me how Wayfair can be late with shipping for every large item people purchase, despite delivery guarantees at the time of sale, yet they never feel responsible when customers complain. Every other retailer is in a world apart. I can't think of a single retailer that would not make it right if they did something wrong, except Wayfair.

Terrible

Ordered outdoor furniture in June 2023 it's now the end of October and still hasn't arrived. Hit our credit card in june but still no patio furniture. Every time I called they said it was being shipped within a week, but never arrived. Just called today to cancel and have deleted their app. As well! Unhappy in Ohio

Product Brand Misrepresented

I have the worst experience shopping with Wayfair.
Consumers please be aware that the brand names for products listed on Wayfairs website particularly furniture is not the brand they send you. I call it the bait and switch. There is no disclosure on the website letting the consumers know that their may not be fulfilled with the brand name of your original order. This misleading and not fair business practice. As a customer I expect to receive my items in the brand name I ordered not the Wayfair brand. They are shiesters as far as I am concerned. I purchased a Dhanveer Louis Pilippe item by Canora Grey and received an Aliauna by Lark Manor
Also purchased an Abert item by Thee Post Teen and received an ACME.com item.

I order an ocean view picture and it was delivered damaged. It Was packet very poorly no protection to the frame or the picture. However, as soon as I called them, they replaced it and shipped it To me a new one and of course I had to go to the federal express and bring my old one. The replacement was beautiful. For the pictures they deserve a five stars. For the pictures they deserve a five star.

Too much hassle!

Recently, I purchased a Nespresso machine from them and almost regretted it. I don't recommend them at all:
1- The product was delivered three days later than they promised initially.
2- I had to call and ask them for a replacement. The replacement also came late by a day.
3- The original product was shipped in its original box. However, when I wanted to return it, FedEx didn't accept it and I had to pay $15 for a box.
4- I had purchased a protection plan with this product but it was canceled by Wayfair without my request. I had to call them back as they didn't give me any reason in their email. Still, it has not been resolved.

Horrible experience

I've had a horrible experience with Wayfair. I am a first (and last) time customer. I ordered two nightstands. One came chipped and the other was a completely different item, different color. The wrong item was huge and bulky, twice the size of the nightstand i ordered. Wayfair said i need to send back the incorrect item and was trying to get me to take it to fedex. Mind you, the items were delivered to my apartment and are huge, it took over a week of hassling them to get them to do a pickup. The new replacement that they sent came totally cracked and broken. I got in touch with them and they are making me ship back the broken item. I can only assume to re-sell the broken one to an unsuspecting customer. They also won't send me the replacement until they get back the broken one. This item sells out frequently too.

I've already hurt my back trying to get these in and out of the boxes. This has been a total nightmare. Wayfair gave me 5% off on the one chipped original nightstand, a joke. I asked for more off and they gave me a 10% your next order coupon, which is also a joke because that is what you get in flyers in the mail.

I will never order from them again. All of this is the fault of wayfair but they place the onus on me as the paying customer to do their dirty work of repackaging and dealing with this. I am so sick of the giant boxes in my tiny apartment and waiting around my house for fedex to come by. Never use wayfair!

Unsavory return policies
October 15, 2023

15 shoe bench was delivered on 9.27.23. This was an "open box" item. Unfortunately, it came with no screws which was a violation of the "open box" policy. I called on 9.27,9.28, and 9.29m only to be told that the "resolution specialist" was working on my case. On 10.3.23I received a email from the "resolution specialist" telling me that she was granting me a return postage for the item, even though this was Wayfair's fault that the item was sent without its screws. On 10.3.23 the package was dropped off to a Fedex location. The tracking has stopped on 10.7.23, and now I am being told that I must wait another six days for Wayfair to receive the item at their warehouse. Once it is processed, I will then have to wait another 3-5 days to receive my refund. Ludicrous. I will never deal with Wayfair again as their return policy benefits only them, not the customer.,

I am a regular customer at Wayfair but in most than 60% of my orders I have had all kind of issues. What s worse is that they never find a solution for you, just keep treating customers like we're idiots. I once tried to buy a protection plan but that was even worse. I paid for 3 years protection plan and they did is taking me back and forth from one number to another to talk to different representatives and listening to all kind of bull$#*! by them. Finnally they did nothing but apologise for doing nothing. I would never reccomend Wayfair to anyone

Ordered floating wood shelves that were the poorest quality of material and the finish on them was not something you'd be satisfied with putting on your walls. 10% return shipping charge assessed to return crap was their unwavering policy so buyer beware...

I ordered a two piece sectional with home service and ofcourse the warranty. First roadblock is there delivery service. I live in NY and they picked up in Bloomington CA. Why didn't they give me an option, I don't know. Second road block it was supposed to be delivered by 10/5/23 and it kept getting pushed back, like I have nothing to do but sit, oh wait no sofa to sit on. Now, I have to do a return to sender or refuse shipping so I can get my money back. I've never had such a bad experience with getting furniture delivered. Wayfairs delivery service doesn't give you an option, it's either fedex or go pick it up yourself. And, if you request home service they don't make it a priority to match the date your furniture arrives. This is my first and ladt time with wayfair. They suck terribly

The extreme changes in pricing are both alarming and concerning. I tracked a couch over the course of 9 months and regularly saw the "original" price go from $2,299 to $790 to $1,370. Note these were NOT sale price changes, but price fluctuations to the supposed "original" price. Meaning that the couch would be sold at $1,800 and marked on "sale" with 20% off when they claim the original price is $2,200. Other times it would just be sold at $1,300 without any sale. Or $750, no sale. And then they would suddenly switch back to $1,300 and claim it's 50% off at $750. It is the most deceptive sales practice of any online retailer I have ever seen. It seems completely illegal and unethical and I am not sure how they get away with it. No matter how great of a "sale" you think you're getting, know the exact same item sells for dramatically cheaper on other days without any sale at all.

I ordered a ( gray) folding accordion door - received it but it was torn / old. Complained + was issued a replacement - that one came in broken! I'm sitting at 3 weeks and had to go back / forth w/ customer service and waiting in the interim... just order from Amazon that way u don't waste your time!

Falsely advertise

Shocking - falsely advertised items for prices higher than actual. You are lead to believe you are choosing a better quality version by paying more, only to find out that they are just changing the description and falsely advertising. When you call them out on it - they refuse to refund or update the website. Shocking.

Twice I tried to order a sleeper sofa…waited for 8 weeks to find out that the company Wayfair consigned with was out of business. Not once during my calls asking when I could expect delivery did they say the sofa was no longer available. Poor service. Will never order from them again!

Wayfare staff are incompetent and dishonest.

Dont ever order from them. They will lie about their delivery date. But you wont be able to get a refund because Fedex will lie and say "delivery attempted" so it wont be late.
Both wayfair and Fedex are very incompetent and both have no problem lying to force you into paying for return delivery fees that was their fault.
