I enjoy shopping with Wayfair and wherever I have an issue customer service is awesome. I only wish my delivery experience would be more consistent. I'm still waiting for one of my items ordered several weeks ago to arrive.
Awful customer service, ordered 3 sets of garden furniture a week ago, just prior to delivery they sent an email cancelling all 3 items as they were discontinued. Each item was in the sale so I imagine they had listed fake items to try and entice people to order. Will shop somewhere more reputable next time
Worst experience I've ever had. Ordered a bathroom vanity and cabinet a month ago for >$2500 and one of the items never came. It also can't be located and wayfair is doing nothing except sending generic email replies saying we are trying to locate your item. Correction wayfair, it's "my" item until you deliver it. What does that say about a company that sells things they can't even find? No thank you. Requested a full refund and may have to dispute the charge because wayfair refuses to even consider a refund.
Pandemic or not, customer service should NEVER suffer. Communication and a little transparency would go a long way but apparently wayfair can't seem to find those either...

I hesitated placing a second order with Wayfair because we had an awful shipping experience with them the last time we ordered 2 years ago. Well, despite my better judgment, and I did place another order, was told it would be here today - and now have just been told by customer service that they "don't know when" it will be delivered, as there is a delay at their warehouse. Customer Service was less than pleasant as well. If you expect things to happen the way you are promised - don't purchase from this company.
Wayfair has gone from great to shady in the last few years. As of two years ago they moved to an "executive resolutions" model which is designed to make returning defective merchandise difficult to impossible. I have received defective items out of the box—missing obvious parts, and when I reported the items immediately, wayfairs
Executive resolutions team failed to respond or replace the items and claimed they never received photos of the items' defects. Then when I followed up they said oh it's passed the 30 day period so we can't help on this anymore!
By the looks of online complaints about the same types of issues, it seems they are set to lose a lot of customers due to their new, impersonal email customer service model. Okay by me, I will no longer be spending money with this company.

I purchased a solar bird bath fountain in May from Wayfair had problems from day 1. The company gave me a $5.86 credit. Now its June and the pump has stopped working. They refuse to do anything. There are other companies out there shop elsewhere. Don't say I didn't warn you.
I bought an extra wide chair but it was narrower than expected. The inner measurement is listed as 29 inches, and when I contacted customer service. They said, and I quote the 29 inch is "obviously referring to the entire width of the chair, not the seat. Who would have made that mistake." Excuse me? Then they charged $50 for restocking for the return. I never ever shopped at wayfair never again. Oh I buy stuff, $3000 every month from Amazon alone, and $40 grand or so luxury goods every 3-4 months. And never will wayfair takes my money
Quality of everything I have purchased from wayfair has always been great but I was worried making a large purchase without being able to touch it first... but we worried for nothing. Very happy. Shipping takes a while on this one so plan accordingly.
I bought furniture worth more than 6000CAD from wayfair. I also purchased assembly service and was later told that it was not possible (25 days after the order). Half of the bed is delivered the remaining is lost somewhere. Tracking information is useless and confusing. Everyone seems to care when you call or chat but no one really helps. I would never use this site and I am making the effort to put reviews wherever I can so others don't have to go through this.
Love shopping at Wayfair... love the quality, price and service. I returned 3 pillows, no problem, easy return with chat customer service instructions. Great quality in everything I have purchased, arrives when it says its going to,,, can't say enough good about this company.
This may have changed over the years but as of present (12/16/19), wayfair customer service has been absolutely phenomenal to work with. They've issued me credits even when I did not ask for one. They're available to chat most of the time as well.
Was excited to see I could shop by "made in the usa" but still don't have my vanity because, unknown to me, the ship date is meaningless since it involves a third party delivery service. This meant an extra two weeks and me being out of town, now have small window to get it installed and the third party shipper won't answer the phone for four days. Having already spent 3 plus hours of my life dealing with the most incompetent Company one could imagine, let me just say that this was my first (and last) time ordering from Wayfair. To call it a "nightmare" is a gross understatement. They sent me the wrong size mattress and I've now spent over 3 hours of work and my lifetime trying to get it picked up. I've spoken with supervisors and with managers. Suffice it to say that nobody has any clue of what is going on and there is no coordination at all. Wayfair has horrible customer service. We recently bought a patio set. 6 days from delivery it went on sale, almost $250 less. They would not adjust our price. Only provided a $90.00 courtesy credit towards future purchases. They are not customer friendly and run under an unethical business model. They said we could return the patio set but it was already assembled and I'd have to pay a ton to ship it back. I will never purchase another item from them.
"No, You May Not Talk" from a so called "Wayfair Supervisor" after telling me to either keep waiting for my order while they try to contact the supplier a supervisor or lose my money. We bought a floor lamp. Directions were worse than IKEA. Parts were missing and defective parts made the bulb assembly and shade a failure. Returned it via FedEx using their label. I am very upset with the quality of the umbrella I received. I just recently put it up because I was waiting to get my new table & it has been in my dining room for a few weeks due to 2 hurricanes. It hasn't even been out there one month and the handle is so cheaply made the thinnest metal possible raw edges and is totally rusty. Not only this but the rain comes right through the umbrella! They do not care they said it was over 30 days and I should have seen that it was defective! How would I see that the handle was defective when I put it into the table it was still silver a few weeks later when I go to take it down for the second hurricane and put it back into my house I see it all rusty. They will do nothing and said they were sorry and that was it and I'm stuck with this piece of crap rusty umbrella that I paid $105 for. I will never again buy from Wayfair.
Be aware if you need to return anything to Wayfair you will lose money. My pillow cases cost $26.50. I tried to return the package unopened and was going to be refunded only $16. I will buy locally or on the big "A" going forward. Also this was all brought on due to a Wayfair website issue that didn't confirm my order until I had already purchased, opened and used nearly identical pillow cases from a local store for $12.99. There are better places to shop. Wayfair app has been removed from my life forever. Thankful I learned this with only a 26.59 loss and not ona. Larger expensive item. I have had many orders that arrived in perfect condition (while some arrived with slight scratches)- wayfair has always ensured that I am left feeling happy about my order.
