Never again! Beware they are fraud you can not return anything from them. They charge a returning fee which is ridiculous! No thank you wayfair you are such a Hassle! I'm sticking with AMAZON! Never again will I buy from wayfair. Save yourself and the money.

We ordered a Christmas tree and when it arrived it was defective. We contacted Wayfair and got a return shipping label, but the cost of the return was deducted from the refund on the tree. A return based on a choice would be reasonable but paying for a defective product is absurd. The lesson learned is don't buy defective products from a very defective company.

DO NOT BUY ALLSTATE INSURANCE WITH WAYFAIR

I had purchased an item months ago but I ensured to purchase Allstate insurance for it as the reviews were not so great. I loved my purchase but it has lost it's resiliency. I made the purchase over the phone and asked Wayfair what the insurance covered. Wayfair knowingly let me purchase insurance that does not cover my item. Allstate insurance was ridiculous, online forms that lead to the phone that lead to chatting online that lead to another phone number to submitting photos to getting declined in 5 minutes - great scam. Wayfair told me since my warranty period is up they can't help me so I had to open a case with Paypal. If Paypal fails I will open a case with the Better Business Bureau and submit a complaint to Consumer Affairs. DO NOT BUY ALLSTATE INSURANCE WITH WAYFAIR IT IS A SCAM. What they are doing is illegal.

Did I mention the insurance was for BEAN BAG CHAIR!

First all my orders are cancelled by their automated system so I have to call to verify who I am, this happened 3 times then the nightstand I bought was from a 3rd party which Wayfair doesn't indicate on their site. My nightstand hardware did not work and it was unsafe but the manufacturer wanted me to pay to ship the 50lb unit back. They couldn't replace it because Wayfair removed the unit from their site after I reported a safety issue. Wayfair told me they would have refunded it if they could. According to PayPal I bought it from Wayfair! Stay clear of this company it isn't worth the headache.

Wayfair is a scam

A few things you should be aware of: Wayfair will expect you to interact with the manufacturer. If you have issues with your purchase, they do very little in order to help you and do a lot to discourage your return.
I Purchased a desk that was advertised as 43 inches wide and it is actually 40 inches wide. The size actually makes a difference to me they try to give me a discount so I would not return the product and now want to charge me to return the product.
I also bought a desk chair that is defective. Basically the cylinder cap that supports the seat is warped so the chair does not sit evenly. Here is the scam. The manufacturer sends the chair in a box that cannot accommodate a return. It is a triangle box. Everyone knows once you install hydraulics they cannot be removed. I am then forced to have to pay for a box to return my defective product. This is not acceptable and I am going through the proper channels to get my money back. The manufactures interaction should be only with Wayfair I Purchased with Wayfair. Therefore this is not my problem. Wayfair's products are below average usually defective and falsely advertised. I will never be purchasing from them again.

I ordered a vanity from Wayfair. They indicate through all advertisement that you don't have to be home to receive a delivery. Well, wrong! Apparently for a vanity, they must put it in the front door. Who would know? Now they can't redeliver for a week. I need the vanity now. Customer service said, "file a complaint," but did nothing to help.

I bought a chandlier with provided service from Wayfair to get it installed, but the installation partner of wayfair haven't installed the light fixture and now I am left with the chandlier with extra return fee that I need to pay to return the item and two completely wasted days waiting for these guys to show up.

Just What I "Don't Need!"

I found the perfect piece of furniture for my small apartment. A nightstand-File Cabinet. Free Shipping and a $40 discount if I use a new WayFair credit card. I applied and was approved and have the account number. But I cannot order until I physically receive the Card...REALLY!? An Online Store that requires you to physically have the card in hand before making an Online purchase? What Corporate genius came up with that strategy. I still have not received the card to make my online purchase, the sale is ending in a couple of days, and they only have a few left in stock.
"JUST WHAT I DON'T NEED"...Thanks WayFair.

Over two (2) weeks late

I ordered a office chair on November 10,2023. Today is November 22,2023. My order has said "pending shipment" the entire time. I called to cancel the order because of the delay but Wayfair would not allow me to cancel because it was "pending shipment." This is unacceptable.
I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR AGAIN. This is utterly ridiculous!

I researched online and found a shower door to go in our newly remodeled master bathroom. Of all of my options I chose Wayfair because of the quick delivery time. The next day after I ordered the shower door Wayfair changed the delivery window by a week. I kept checking everyday to see if the order was updated and after 2 weeks it was still showing that it had not shipped. I called Wayfair on 3 different occasions and they kept telling me that it was shipped but couldn't tell me where it was or how long it would be before I got the door. I finally had to just cancel the order and get it somewhere else.

I would like to give them negative numbers for a review. Over a week, my order was supposed to be delivered, and 3 times I have in touch with Waifair for a refund because I did not receive my package. Hours of texting and calling FedEx when it's not my responsibility to do it. The package is lost, and Waifair continues with excuses and a lot of back and forth. It's simple: the package is lost, and you owe me money! What a joke this place

Absolutely terrible!

I cancelled items that I placed an hour ago. Contacted customer service & was told pthey were definitely cancelled. They were not cancelled as I received text they were in transit! Now I have responsibility of returns, not easy when recovering from hip replacement surgery! Customer service is useless! Spend your money elsewhere!

Stay away scamers!

They make you buy expensive stuff like vanity for big discount then as happy customer you gona start buying small things and those will arrive on time! But vanity that i bought they told me it was discontinued and it was still selling on they site! So they canceled my most important order after 3 weeks waiting...VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! STAY AWAY!

When we applied for a credit card, we were denied, even though we have high credit scores. We believe it was due to us being 86 years old. We paid cash for our home, we just paid off a $10,000 loan for a new heating system & have rental property that has a mortgage, that we receive cash from our renter every month. We buy everything on Amazon as we have a Amazon Credit card & still was denied. I would never buy anything on their website unless it was a very small amount that we could use our own VISA card with.

These people are scammers! Their customer service is the worst! First they sent me 2 different lamps. Then, they sent me only 1 label to return the lamps. So, I had to keep one of the lams that was missing pieces. Then, they sent me a second lamp that was also missing piece. I called both times, and yes, after the 30 days because I travel and I am not always home and they were completely inflexible and did not want to return the lamps that they sent wrong and broken in the first place. The supervisor I spoke with should not be working with customers and customers would not be returning things if you send quality products and the right products. They know nothing about customer service!

I ordered a toaster oven from Wayfair, mid Oct. 2023. The description was that it had a timer but after reading comments from buyers, I learned the timer was only for toast. I tried to cancel but customer service said it was too late. Then I learn the customer is responsible for return shipping. I found a different model for $100 more so was hoping for an exchange but I'd still have to pay return shipping. I bought it from Walmart instead.
This is why Wayfair can't compete with Walmart or Amazon. Don't take a chance with having to return something unless you have plenty of money to burn. I will never order anything from Wayfair again!

I ordered a product, a vanity about two and a half months ago, It was shipped from whoever. When it got to the final shipping company, they gave a date when it was going to be delivered. I took the morning off the day it was supposed to be delivered, they called and said they'd have to reschedule for the next week, and didn't have room on the truck. The next week came. I got the same phone call, We'll have to reschedule for next week. The next week came. I got the same thing. I don't normally do reviews other than when I'm totally getting upset with the company I bought from. I called the shipping company to complain and the lady that answered said hold on. She came back about 25 minutes later and said I'm so sorry, but the person you need to talk to is not here and she will call you back later. I had put the phone down on speaker and I had to ask her when, and she said today...we'll see. The shipping company is JW Logistics. I have a bathroom torn apart waiting on this vanity for measurements for plumbing purposes. The bathroom has been unusable for close to 3 weeks now because of this shipping company. Wayfair is a good place to shop because of their selection in ease of finding things. There are other companies out there that sell the same exact thing, and that is who I will buy from. Wayfair, because you use the shipping company and the experience I have had with them, I will never buy from you again. Also, the vanity I bought from Wayfair was found at Bed Bath and Beyond, the same exact thing for about $154 cheaper.

Shipping Lies, False Advertising

Bought a bed from Wayfair in an emergency, was advertised two day shipping. Great! I need a bed now.

After their online assistant was adamant for three days that it would come by 10/31, I noticed that it still hadn't been shipped.

Called their staff and found out the supplier has at least 10 days to get the order "ready for shipment" and the two days ONLY refers to once the currier has the package.

While I understand what they're getting at, the advertisement is HIGHLY misleading. Its an absolute con.
