These people knew before I sent my watch to them what it would cost. If I had that info I never would have sent it to them. They made a big deal of getting me an 'estimate', even sending me two reminders to send the watch to them. They wanted to charge me $29 for $4.50 battery and double the cost of my shipping to them, to return the watch. Once they had the watch, they had leverage. I told them to keep it. I don't recommend this company to anyone. Go elsewhere!
The whole thing was handled poorly.
I sent a dress watch to them for a battery. They sent me an estimate for $200 which I approved. When I received the watch back, the face (roman numerals) was installed incorrectly. Shocking. When I called they said it was from shipping damage. They suck.
I have a nice tag heuer watch and needed a battery replacement. These guys did a nice job and returned the watch within 2 weeks. Took about 2 weeks total to have a battery replaced. That's OK but the cost seemed high. $129.

Sent my Rado to have the band repaired as my links are made of ceramic and were broken, i paid to replace the links and what they did was remove the broken links, of course now the watch doesn't fit me. I filed a complaint with their customer service and was told that they wouldn't return my broken links due to company policy. They basically stole my links that are worth $80 a piece. Thieves.

I sent in my wife's watch in for repair. They sent it back as irreparable. When I got it back I replaced the battery myself and it has been working perfectly ever since. I asked for a refund on the shipping and they refused. Poor service.

They take you for a sucker. I had a breakdown of charges. I cannot comment on what I am not familiar with, however I am familiar with battery replacement. $29.95 to replace a battery. Totally out of line. I always read reviews but this time I did not. If I did I would have not entered into this transaction in the first place.
Based on the price I expected a higher quality of work. My cost for the watch repair was basically a new watch of the same model. What's even more disappointing is that my watch isn't even splash proof. For the price I should've purchased a new one instead. I would not recommend this service to any NAVY SEAL watch repair. I would recommend to purchase a new watch for the same price.

We do NOT guarantee that a watch will pass water resistance. We notify you if it passes or fails and allow you to make the decision on if you want to take watch in the water.
Had to replace a battery on a Georg Jensen watch. Communication from time of sending watch to Watch Repair through receiving repaired watch was excellent. Watch repair pricing was reasonable. Cost of shipping watch to me was high

Unbelievably I found my wife a Tissot $1700 watch at the low price of $5.00 obviously it was not in working condition but thanks to watch repair USA, for the low sum of around $200 they fixed a watch the local jeweler said couldn't be fixed. My wife loves the watch and the job watch repair USA did on it.

I sent a Gevril watch in thinking I was sending it to Gevril. Watch repairs usa has a very deceptive website. They make you believe that you are sending your watch in to an authorized repair facility. They are not authorized to repair Gevril watches or any others. Gevril doesn't sell parts to anyone. They know this yet they list Gevril as a brand they repair. They say no job too small but they will always quote you $500.00 to $700.00 for an overhaul. I had just a simple repair on a watch that was nearly new. It shouldn't have more than $150.00 tops. Then they held my watch for ransom and demanded $82.00 to return my own watch to me after they mislead me and so many others! It took them two weeks to finally send it back. What a total rip-off. Think about this... take 50 watches a week, then charge more than $80.00 for return postage that costs about $12.00. That's $70.00 profit times 50 watches a week. Pretty shrewd, don't ya think?

I have a Mondia Swiss Master watch that needs a new band. I had sent pictures of the type of band I need (The band is screwed into the watch and doesn't use pins as a normal watch uses). I was told I would need to send it in. After a few weeks I got the response that the a band wasn't available and I'd need to now pay shipping to get the watch back which I did. Before they could ship it, I contacted Mondia internationally who was great. Within a a couple of days I had a replacement band on the way for $81.00 shipped. I'm not an expert but I sure did do a better job myself.
We checked and were unable to source the band. When given the model we were told it was not available. It is a specialty band and we couldn't provide a substitute. I am happy you were able to source the band and hope you enjoy the watch for years to come.
My Movato watch had a broken crystal. I set my watch (without checking their reputation!) for repair. After numerous calls and email complaints and questions which were never answered. I requested return without repair. This didn't happen. Finally they sent an estimate of about $140 which I paid. Two months after submital I received a watch which either had a cheap replacement bracelet or was a totally different (cheaper but similar) Movato watch. I sent a complaint with documented photos to Watch Repairs USA, requesting comments. I received no reply after six weeks. FRAWD!

I sent my Kate Spade watch for repair the first week in June. I was told it would take approximately 3-6 weeks. I received it today, 24, yes... TWENTY FOUR WEEKS later.
I requested that they send the watch back to me and refund my money, which they
Refused to do. BAD!
I sent my Movado watch to get repaired, they repaired the watch and mailed it back with the wrong City and State on it so it was lost in the mail. After spending almost $300 dollars in repairs, I lost the money and the watch. There was no support from this company and they were absolutely no help.
The jokers from Watch Repair USA wrote that they can't find my name or order number.

We heavily apologize for this extensive length of time. If you sent it back for a warranty repair within a year after you got your watch back, we would have gladly fixed your watch. I have an old Doxa watch that used to be my great grandfather's. I wanted it repaired, but the local repair shop could no handle such an old watch. Watch Repairs USA's website suggested sending it to them for an assessment and estimate. I did that, and was told that they would be able to repair it for just shy of $600, paid in advance. Estimated time would be 3 months. It took nearly 12 months, with many attempts at communications and many broken promises. But eventually it came back. And other than a new wristband and slight buffing, it's the same - loose minutes hand, doesn't keep time, crystal falls off the face. Botched job. I called and called and emailed and called, and finally connected with someone. I was told that they don't offer refunds unless they can't repair the watch. They offered to have me send it back to them. They couldn't say what they would do differently from what they did when they had it for 11 months. Of course I'm not sending it back. This is a fraudulent operation - should be shut down by the authorities. I placed a claim through PayPal Credit, and we'll see what happens. But you should save your time and money and nerves - don't use this company. I regret it. I probably won't get my money back. At least I got back my great grandfather's watch, inoperational but still a family heirloom. I'm placing this review on every site I know of - doing my good deed so as to save someone else from this fraud.

Sending your watch to watchrepairusa.com is the equivalent to sending your watch into a black hole. No human communication. Serviced watch comes back in substandard condition and takes months to receive. Do not send your valuable watches to watchrepairusa.com
My review is l8 but better l8 than never. My watch is working gr8 & it came back 2 me in the same condition I sent it. Very satisfied. Will use service again.
While the repair was not inexpensive. They were able to repair the watch when my jewelers watch repair company couldn't. The watch was repaired within estimated budget and in the time frame they estimated as well.

Had an eta 2824 that was three years old that i hand wound to much and the reverser gears needed lubricated as the rotor was spinning when hand wound. Included this info in my notes upon shipping.the estimate was $402.00 for an un needed rebuild. Declined the rebuild and had them send it back at a cost of $22.00. Got the watch back and removed the rotor and winding bridge and treated the reverser gears with lubeta v105 and was fixed and winding in 30 minutes. I feel that they are charging to send the watch in and back at their steep shipping fee and then to hit you with a complete rebuild that i felt was uneeded just to make money off of you.on top of that it took two months to get the watch back. I would not ever recommend them for any watch repair as i think it is kind of a scam.

Answer: Watch Repairs USA is responsible to actually repair the watch and send it back. As of today Watch Repair USA has my money AND my Watch. It was sent on February 27,2020. Today is August 3rd 2020. I filled everything out correctly and got the first e-mail saying my watch and order was received. The 'STATUS'has remained unchanged for 4+ months as çheck back or we will send you an e-mail for the update. SO far NOTHING and no reply from the company to my e-mail inquiries. SO can't blame the customer for this. Sounds like THEFT to me!
