However, significant concerns arise regarding delivery reliability, order accuracy, and customer service quality. Many reviews highlight frustrations with unfulfilled orders, inadequate support during issues, and negative interactions with staff. I have shopped at Walmart for a long time and have been pleased with products and returns when necessary.
I love the prices, Hate that we have to buy all this from China.
Walmart just opened a big brand new store near us (Teterboro Airport NJ) and initially I was extremely disappointed. I happened to look at the bikes that they had to offer and I was shocked to note that NOT ONE of the bikes had the proper tags (with price, make, model, etc) on the rack where the bikes were. As a matter of fact I could not find ANY bikes that met the descriptions of the posted tags. It was absurd. It's as if no one in the bike department had any idea whatsoever about the English language. Also this was a totally new store, but the bikes had missing seats, missing handlebars, missing parts, etc.
To this day (4 weeks later) they still have not straightened anything out.
Since 4 weeks ago, the store has improved tremendously and it's now looking better and better every day. But I went on a Saturday and it was literally a ZOO. People ripping open packages, taking things out of boxes, kids throwing things around, trash everywhere. The place does not need sales people, they need a police force to maintain some kind of order.
Even the Walmarts in Mexico were better organized than this one in one of the richest counties in the USA.
I guess Walmart attracts a lot of animalistic tendencies in shoppers. Maybe they should put everything behind bars or bulletproof windows.
Walmart treats their employees terribly and runs local businesses out of town! 0/10 wouldnt recommend
Always feel bad ordering from this evil behemoth, knowing how badly they treat their employees etc. But when finances are tight, nothing beats Walmart's rock-bottom prices. Site is easy to use and both "ship to home" and "pick up at store" options worked well.
I don't live around very many Walmart's, so when it came time to put in the store location I put in the only one within an hour of me. I had ordered about $50 worth of beads and organizers for the beads. A day later I received an email saying that the store I ordered them from was out of stock on ALL of those items. I went by the same day, and they were fully stocked on all of them at the store, and the manager said they still had plenty in the back. When I told her what the website said, she called someone and told them to issue me a refund. Luckily I was able to get my money back. But really, should it have even been needed? Do the people they have even look for the items? I think I'll just stick to buying from the actual store from now on.
Purchased two personalized necklaces... exactly the same... personalized picture feel off of one of them almost immediately!
When mr walton brought wal mart its was to be about family, sorry but you violate his means and made this store to a corp mongering service. I stooped shopping there.
This place is depressing. I have traveled extensively and they are the same, poor lighting, huge carriages which barely fit down the aisles, messy displays. I spent time in their stores because of the work I did (retail supplier) and rarely go into the store as a shopper.
This web site is easy to use and if you enter it though ebates.com, you get cash back. Does it get any better, no, no it does not!
I have 5 pets and they eat lots of food! I order it on line and if you order over $50.00 they deliver for free. The heavy bags of dry dog and cat food come right to my door (AWESOME!) and I no longer have to lug it from the store to the car to the house! Oh yeah, I'm a happy girl! LOVE IT!
Having a Walmart a mile from our home is good. Having them ship me $50 of goods for free is even better. Three shippers deliver our parcels inside in a monitored area. I'd tell how returns are handled, but we've never had to return anything.
I have a few suggestions for you, Walmart. 1) You need to clean up your locations. Look at Target. The environment is nice and comfortable. You should change the flooring and the walls, and make the way you layout your items look more appealing and clean. 2) You need to stock more relevant items. You don't have enough Apple, or even just electronics in general. My parents don't like Walmart and try to avoid it because it doesn't stock the grocery items they need. Please at more health foods! 3) You need to set higher standards for your customers. Have you seen the posts on social networks? "Worst dressed at Walmart". That's it for now, but if I really thought about it, I could come up with plenty more examples and ideas. Thanks, and please consider! :)
Always professional always respectful the employees at walmart always keep me coming back
Yea I don't like what Walmart stands for but if you are looking for more options and better prices especially on refurbished items then go here. But if you go to a store just think $#*! the Waltons but be nice to the employees because they have it tough!
I enjoy shopping at Walmart. They have a little of everything for the right price. I've never had a problem with returns. What does bother me is so many of their employees are under paid and many of them have to go on public assistance. Many of the items sold are from China and I don't like that China is getting a step ahead in the financial world because they pay their employees a pittance and work horribly long hours.
What many people don't know is that walmart.com has thousands of affiliate sellers. Walmart does not qualify these affiliate sellers so you don't know what you're getting and most of them don't have return policies, any customer support. And wal-mart will not stand up for the customers. Don't buy from Walmart online. You just don't know what you're getting or where its coming from. This is from personal experience. Beware
No matter what anyone says, walmart is a great value. I love the big stores, but checkout could be quicker.
