The reviews of Visualsoft that I found the most troubling on here are titled: "False 5 Star Reviews - Buyer Beware" and "They fabricate their own reviews". But our experience echoes many other reviews on here. Here are some examples: "Sold a dream delivered a nightmare!" "Avoid - Money Pit - Client needs are not heart of organisation and extortionate" "Complete disappointment." "Possibly the WORST Ecommerce Company" "Very poor ecommerce platform - Avoid like the plague!" "Don't Walk. RUN!" "Grab all Company, no customers service" "Dreadful service from top to bottom" "Awful company," "OMG How BAD can bad get?" "Like many others, I am really disappointed by this..." "Really not happy!" "Very substandard service from a very substandard company" "Terrible Company with no interest in resolving serious issues" I wish I had read these reviews before signing up with them… So what was my experience? Visualsoft did an excellent job of selling their affiliate marketing service to us – but then totally failed to deliver anything whatsoever. We were forced to pay an initial £2,800 before they would even start work – and we have seen nothing in return for it. Specifically, we were unable to get past the basic first step of integrating our systems so as to be able to track affiliate sales. As my web developer put it, "Their API and setup is terrible. It could take me a dozen hours or so to troubleshoot and fix." Having banged our head against a brick wall in this respect, they emailed us to say: "Regarding the integration of our affiliate software into your platform, we have encountered challenges in implementing a viable solution. This has been primarily due to the bespoke nature of your platform and the limited technical resources available on your end." "Unfortunately, we have not made further progress on this vital integration. Given this ongoing challenge, we believe it is mutually beneficial to conclude our collaboration on this particular channel." They knew from the start that our website operated on a bespoke system – and that we had limited resources. I spent an hour in a meeting with three of them, trying one solution after another – but to no avail. I put through numerous test orders, adhering precisely to their instructions. I even personally granted full access to my Google Workspace account – username and password – and they were still unable to make any progress. At no point were they able to explain even what the problem is, let alone how it might be resolved. I consequently contended that, having delivered precisely nothing, they were not in a position to claim any fees whatsoever from us – and I demanded a refund of the initial £2,800 paid. They refused, saying they had "dedicated significant effort to resolving this issue". They may well have done – but the bottom line is that they failed completely to resolve the issue and left us with nothing in return for our £2,800 other than wasted time and effort at our end. I am very disappointed indeed – and have now referred the case to our solicitors for them to pursue legal action for the recovery of these monies. I am sorry that it has come to this. It all seems so unnecessary to me. But this is where they have brought us. I am profoundly disappointed in Visualsoft. In this day and age, where consumers and clients are more empowered than ever, with ready access to a broad range of review platforms, their attempting to retain our £2,800 would seem to me to be not just unlawful and unethical – but extremely ill-advised.
Really poor service from start to present! We were sold an unbelievable dream by Phil (who left VS two months after we signed up)
Our website did not go live until a year after the agreed date, all the while we were paying the £1500 per month management fee! The website then went live and the Google Adword/Merchant accounts were set up incorrectly! We lost over £30k in sales in this time! Since we have been live we have had no help, assistance, guidance on how to improve our sales performance, best practices on our website etc. To be totally honest we are in a worse position than we were with our previous website and we still have 7 months left of a two year contract which has already cost us over £30k, do not waste your money with VS you get little or no support, our account manager is Jonny and he only ever comes back to us if we contact him, he also cannot do anything unless he has spoken to his manager Paul! The only person we have any good results from is Sasha in the PPC team..
Well absolutely fantastic, from submitting the ticket to completion was done in a very short period of time (same day within the hour), I wish I had gone down the support route to start with. Ben from the FED Implementations Team has been absolutely brilliant in resolving my request. A huge thank you Ben.
Regrettably even though we are still with Visualsoft and reading the awful reviews that have been published on here, I can sympathise with most businesses that have had a negative experience and would also advise every new business to think twice before signing on a contract with VS.
Work is incredibly slow, plenty of false promises prior to signing contract, refusing to take responsibility, poor complaint resolution procedure, low employee retention rate indicating a poor/toxic working environment and very very expensive for the overall product/service is received in return.
I have made several complaints and our voice has not been heard and this is us paying over £3000 a month.
Save yourselves the hassle and painstaking conversations of never ending problems and poor value for money.

We have been a customer of Visualsoft for a number of years and find the IT support to be helpful, informative and responsive. Answer: I run a multi-million pound platform and have been in the process of migrating our site from Visualsoft to Magento for the last year. I must say this has been a nightmare from start to finish. Non of the fault lays at the door of Visualsoft however, its purely been a Magento/developer issue. We felt we needed a change of platform after 2 years of success and at the time it was right for our business to "jump on the "Magento train" since we wanted to be in complete control. Anyway after a year of turmoil we may not be moving after all. I have personally overseen many migrations in my career as a head of Ecommerce and this has been a journey to say the least. Answer: Legit. However, it took them nearly 2 years to solve what should have been a simple issue before our website finally went live in October 2016. Have done 2 websites with them. Highly recommend NOT using a combined admin panel as that has given us nothing but issues since the second site went live 5 years ago.
Answer: At the time (2014/2015) they were one of only three platforms offers we could find that would integrate eBay, Amazon, an own website, with Paypal, Royal Mail, UPS/DHL to streamline all the processes into one. We now have a separate site on Shopify which is different and relies on Apps for various parts of integration but it does the same job
