No reservations in recommending Visualsoft, the platform is great and our account manager Stephen is always on hand to go through any queries we have and suggest new ideas. We've never had any problems with the site and anything I've not been able to do myself is quickly resolved over the phone by tech support.
We've been with Visualsoft since 2008 and have 2 websites with them. One of our websites in particular is very successful and responsible for over 90% of our Sales.
We've recently moved on to their Optimum monthly package which after a little negotiation and some teething problems seems like good value for money, future proofing our platform in the process.
Visualsoft are capable of delivering some beautiful looking websites with excellent functionality as long as you work with them and provide the input they need from you.
With the help of Conor and Sam as our go to team members, we've managed to significantly improve what we already considered to be a market leading ecommerce store for our industry.
We've had a site with Visualsoft for about 3 years now, with support from their marketing team for paid search on google and email marketing too we've seen growth on the site of double revenues each year. In short we're thrilled - our business has grown and our team too as a result. The support can be a little slower at busier times but otherwise is great for what we need. There's a good range of features and we're looking at the new commission based model for our new site in the new year. Looking forward to 2018!
Growing an online business isn't free or easy. It needs a huge dedication of time and financial investment and a lot of other resources too, but Visualsoft can be a great tool in the box to this growth.
I don't agree at all with other reviews here, we've never paid for anything we didn't get from Visualsoft or any other agencies for that matter - so that would suggest other issues going on here to me than Visualsoft's ability to delivery... which is second to none for us.
Ben at Visualsoft managed to sort out a requirement within 24 hours exceeding all expectations, and coming up with an alternative plan to what I was looking for.
Ben you are a legend!
Leigh Davison resolved a long running and irritating issue that no one else at Visual Soft could. He thought outside the box and used his experience to find a solution. He also has a positive & helpful attitude.

We've been having ongoing problems with VAT on postage being charged/not being charged or incorrectly shown on invoices for UK, EU and Rest of World since our website went live almost exactly 5 years ago. We've had five support tickets for the same issue in the last 18 months. For an inexplicable reason, it works for a period of time before going pfft and breaking again.
Finally, after all this time, we have managed to get the problem fixed. I cannot rate Visualsoft, the company, highly because this is something that has been causing intermittent problems for five years which have caused significant problems for us to correctly account for VAT that should have been charged but wasn't or appears to have been charged but hasn't been. However, as of today and entirely thanks to Leigh from Triage and Telephony Support we finally have the problem fixed and we cannot thank him enough for achieving this.
We're not sure why it's taken five years to get this right, particularly as it appeared to be correctly working when the site went live, but the very fact that it has periodically broken over and over and over, clearly suggests that it was the IT equivalent of duct tape and cable ties that had been used to make it appear that it was working.
A big personal thank you to Leigh for his efforts to resolve this problem.
They have quite an attractive back office system but could do with it being more functional and accessible. Apart from product addition and sales processing there is very little can be done to the site. Anything more in depth, like SEO actions or error solving has to be put on a "ticket" which can take up to 2 months to be resolved; if ever.
Would definitely not recommend them, they seem to be all talk, far better to get a Magento based site, at least you can go straight to a developer for any work you need done rather than going through 10 layers of bureaucracy to get to an answering machine!
I don't know where to start.
The horrible and super expensive customer service?
The terrible arrogance of the directors?
The revolting website they built us?
The time it took (3 times as much as quoted)
The fact they want a bucket of money to fix things they themselves got wrong?
The abhorrent lock in contract?
The sleazy sales tactics (the SEO one is the best. You get zero for your money)?
Also, take a good look at the latest reviews and how a lot of them are on the same day. Why? Visualsoft writes them or rewards their small circle of customer friends to write them. This was confirmed to me by an ex employee there.
The list goes on but I will leave you with final thoughts:

Visualsoft are great at sales talk and showing you nice website examples. However once you sign up you are stuck with a website that ranks very poorly on Google and other search engine. This leave you have to spend enormous amounts of money on Pay Per Click adverts just to get in any sales at all. After 10 plus years trading we lost 80% of our online traffic since moving to VisualSoft. The company does not care about this and see greater reward in new sales. Beware of false 5 star review. If in doubt find your own current VisualSoft user and ask them of their own experiences.
They fabricate their own reviews. How can you trust a company that does that? Save your money and go with someone else. All visualsoft are good at is pretty banners and design. Catherine B and any other positive review of them is written by them. They have already been caught by a well-knows site doing this.
Overpriced junk! They built us a site that cost a lot of money. Could have had better results with Magento. Very bad service and will not even fix their own mistakes at their own cost! Save your money, time and effort and go with another reputable company.
Also someone mentioned that they fake their own reviews. After looking closer, I believe this now to be true as well.
Once they get your money, don't expect any level of service or sensible response from anyone that works at this company. A complete shambles from top to bottom. They are far from experts on anything e-commerce, they literally don't have a clue. The system they provide is great in theory, but if anything goes wrong with it don't expect it to be fixed any time soon. Money will be lost and endless time wasted if you sign up to their platform
Visualsoft have improved their service significantly in recent months. Tickets are picked up and resolved a lot quicker than in the past. The CMS is very advanced, we never have any downtime and our site loads fast.

Very substandard service from a very substandard company. Big delays in project delivery with loads of excuses.
Whats worse is that they do not show remorse or interest in customer satisfaction. I would strongly recommend you do not use their services.
They are over-priced and not nice to deal with at all.
I have been a Visualsoft customer for a number of years and have always been impressed by their high level of professionalism and superb attention to detail. We originally entrusted them to redesign our whole website which was a huge leap of faith for us and I can honestly say there has never been a time when we regretted that decision. I have been a Visual Soft customer for 2 years now and we have had some amazing results. We have grown from zero to a multi-million pound turnover business online. We are in the jewellery and luxury goods space and have seen a lot of our competitors struggle within this period however we have flourished. Like the title says, RUN! Cut your losses now or keep paying and throw good money after bad money. Hopefully you have found these reviews before you have spent a penny with these con artists. All the negative reviews are true, and then some. We got fleeced for £15,000+. Again, RUN!
I have worked with Visualsoft for just over a year on a very close basis. Our strategist Conor Cooke is an extended member of our internal team. His level of care, support, and enthusiasm to drive our business forward is second to none. He has provided not only a high level of service but also ideas, suggestions and support past his remit to elevate our business into success.
Conor is responsible for liaising with all other marketing teams, including PPC, SEO, Social and Affiliates to ensure that all channels are performing as they should and generating the revenue and awareness our business aims for. Over the last year, we have seen significant growth through their performance and are continuing to invest heavily in their support.

Leigh from Tech Support picked up my ticket request and followed it up with a courtesy phone call to confirm my requirements. He then forwarded examples of the fix for my approval which was exactly what I wanted. This was then made live and all before lunch.

Answer: I run a multi-million pound platform and have been in the process of migrating our site from Visualsoft to Magento for the last year. I must say this has been a nightmare from start to finish. Non of the fault lays at the door of Visualsoft however, its purely been a Magento/developer issue. We felt we needed a change of platform after 2 years of success and at the time it was right for our business to "jump on the "Magento train" since we wanted to be in complete control. Anyway after a year of turmoil we may not be moving after all. I have personally overseen many migrations in my career as a head of Ecommerce and this has been a journey to say the least. Answer: Legit. However, it took them nearly 2 years to solve what should have been a simple issue before our website finally went live in October 2016. Have done 2 websites with them. Highly recommend NOT using a combined admin panel as that has given us nothing but issues since the second site went live 5 years ago.
Answer: At the time (2014/2015) they were one of only three platforms offers we could find that would integrate eBay, Amazon, an own website, with Paypal, Royal Mail, UPS/DHL to streamline all the processes into one. We now have a separate site on Shopify which is different and relies on Apps for various parts of integration but it does the same job
