I purchased an item via Walmart.com but they use Virventures as vendor for the item. 3 days after I had ordered the item it was still reading processing in cart status. I contacted the company and the answer was "we will forward this to a different team for details." This usually means they don't have the item in stock, so I cancelled the ordered through Walmart. At this point you would think that I don't have to worry about this item anymore. However Virventures refused to accept my cancellation and 3 days later I got an email that the item had been shipped and my card charged for the item.
I am now trying to get this item return but Virventures says they will charge me 20% restocking fee plus I have to pay for shipping cost. I am communicating with Walmart on this issue and will post follow up to see if Walmart will also failed to assist in resolving this issue.
Stay away from Virventures, it seems that it is a nightmare to deal with this company.

Avoid this company. They don't answer emails, don't answer phone and mailbox is full. They were late shipping my product and I requested cancellation 3 times well in advance of shipping but they shipped anyway. Cost me large return shipping and restock fee

Avoid this company

I ordered an AC from Walmart.com. Bit Ventures was a third party seller through them. According to tracking info which changed the item was delivered in 1 day. Only problem is it was delivered in a city I don't live in and have never lived in. I have contacted Walmart and Vir Ventures and nothing. After seeing this I can see this is a regular occurrence and wonder how Walmart can allow this to keep happening.

Item arrived late and defective (as confirmed by manufacturer technician). VirVentures accepted to refund upon return but refused to issue a paid return label, offering instead to credit my CC with $43 if I agreed to keep their defective item and have it repaired locally!

SCAMMERS

This company thrives off scamming people. I bought a 50 count of dog treats from them. I only received 1. They told me I would have to pay $10 to receive a return shipping label or they would give me a 25% refund without returning the item. Do not do business with them. They only replied after amazon opened a claim against them.

Ordered through Walmart last month, this is the seller. Took my money and cannot get a response from either Walmart or Virventures. I live in Maryland, says my order was delivered somewhere in California last week!? I will keep up the bad reviews, maybe then will get some resonse, doubtful. Both of these outlets are thieves.

I purchased a 20 lb. Slam ball or wall ball from this company and Amazon approved the return. They asked me not to use Amazon to return but to go through them. Worst mistake. Not only do they take 15% to 25% restocking fee, you also have to pay for the shipping which is 10x higher than what they paid for shipping. So if I were to return it I would pay more for the return than I paid for the ball. I also called several times and they do not return phone calls. So if you purchase an item make sure you do not have to return any of the items. It was a gift and now i am stuck with the item and can't use it. Very disgusted customer. I will not buy from them again.

I ordered a water filter system from them on ebay. They system came and was NOTHING as it was pictured on line. I returned the item. They NEVER credited me back, so I disputed the charge. This was after one month being returned to them, and it cost me $39.99, and the item cost me $143.00, so I had figured it was all done as they received the merchandise back and I had not kept the tracking number for the return.In the dispute, they wrote a letter to paypal saying they were in constant contact with me, and they will not even get in touch with me as I have called them several times with no response! Do not do business with these crooks, they do not show you what they sell, and you can FORGET about getting a refund from them! If I could go below 1 star, it would be negative 5 stars across the board!

I ordered 2 adirondack chairs from virventures through houzz and 1 arrived very damaged. It has been over 5 days and despite several requests they still have not sent a return label or confirmed that i can dispose of the damaged product. I made very clear to them that having a huge box in my front hallway was a great inconvenience. And i still have not received the replacement chair.

The Worst
April 23, 2020

The worst! I ordered something directly through the VirVentures website a few weeks ago and still have not received it. I have called and emailed this company at least a dozen times. No one ever answers the phone. I received one return phone call, and they could not give me any information regarding my order. Then I received an email asking me to give positive feedback about my order... how is this possible since I never received it?! That was 2 days ago, and I still have no resolution. Keep in mind, the money was taken out of my account the day I placed the order. Do NOT order anything from this company!

Placed an order with these guys via Sears.com three weeks ago. I got an email reply two days after I ordered saying they no longer sold the item and that *I* needed to call and cancel. I called. No answer. Voicemail full. Again. Again. Again. For three weeks, twice a day. Got an email with an alternative phone number. Nobody answers. No response to MULTIPLE voicemails. The only email replies you get are automated and nobody ever responds.
Avoid this company like the plague.

Purchased a plastic umbrella stand from this company through Walmart. The product is defective. After filling the base with water, the water leaks from the cap. The company wants me to pay for the cost of shipping to return this product. No support from Walmart because of dealing with a third party company. This is not good company service!

I ordered something from Walmart.com that was handled through this vendor. I then had to return it after finding out I needed a different color. It took 3 weeks to get a refund and this is only after calling Walmart to help. They lie about having done things such as reissuing a refund, they don't answer their phone -- not even for Walmart -- they don't email/follow up when they say they will, they still charge a 15% "restocking fee" even if you return something unused, and the refund could take weeks longer than they say. Thank goodness Walmart intervened and issued me a refund separately. It had been a week since the unused item I returned was delivered and I still hadn't seen a refund despite them telling me one had been issued. Walmart confirmed they hadn't even issued it, they completely lied.

Item arrived super fast... 2 days. Ball had special instructions tacked to the air hole as to exact precautions to take inserting the needle because it's a double bladder ball. I moistened the needle and inserted perpendicular to the hole as instructed... carefully.

Purchased a bed and end tables from this company. The bed was turned around by Fedex as having been destroyed in shipping. When i tried to get a refund the company reversed the Tracking #s from the tables to the bed and said i accepted delivery. Oddly i read here that others have had the same type of experience I am going to file with the ftc and see if that helps so far they have stoled $ 250 from me

I bought a industrial fan the fan was damaged it's dangerous my children can't even be around it. I asked for returning label the return label money has to come out my pocket the cost of the return label is close to $200 almost the price that I paid for the fan. Customers beware virventures are scammers. Don't Waste Your Precious time

Untrustworthy

I ordered a garage door opener from Sears using a credit because the craftsman garage door opener I bought in March 2021 was defective. Sears used VirVentures to fulfill the order. I used a store credit for the refund of the existing defective garage door opener. The sales receipt showed the credit was applied. The next morning I found out VirVentures charged me for the entire amount. I canceled the order with 12 hours but VirVentures sent it anyway. I refused delivery. I did not receive a credit for the return yet, a week later. I am going to have to elevate my complaint to our state's attorney general, consumer fraud division because I do not like having a sketchy business take my money. Sears and VirVentures have proven themselves to be untrustworthy. And if you want a lesson in futility, try calling either Sears or VirVentures…. Forward, forward, hang up. Buyer beware.

I bought a pair of shin guards for my 12 year old daughter, they came and they were so small. I got them from Sears.com, I took them back to sears as soon as I got the item and they said it's from a third party and you need to return it to them. I started the return process, they even gave me a phone number. An indian guy with a heavy accent answers all the time and of course he changes his name every time, same idiot of course, I told him I needed a label to return the item, he said we will email you and of course no email, the only emails they would sent would say the item can not be open, which it wasn't. Any ways Sears of course washed their hands and these idiots never helped me with the return. Stay away from these idiots!

Ordered an alarm clock from Vir Ventures on Jan 27,2021. The company charged it to my credit card on Feb 9,2021. As of Apr 16,2021, I still have not received my alarm clock.
Attempts to reach someone from VirVentures have not been returned. Have not been able to get a response or a refund.
Will not purchase anything from Vir Ventures in the future.
