Diabolical website

Not only does this site condone bullying, harassment and abuse but they actually encourage it! Multiple known scammers on the site who are still allowed to be active and continue to scam other members. The verbal abuse and bullying is shocking and lack of support from Vinted is truly disgusting.

After being scammed multiple times and recieving severe verbal abuse i contacted Vinted to report and my complaint was dismissed. I kindly asked Vinted to close my account as it wouldn't allow me to do so by myself, and again they refused and ultimately subjecting me to further harrassment, bullying and verbal abuse. Some members even think it's okay to threaten one another in a public manner via the forum or public feedback, which once again Vinted will not remove!

This site is enough to take its toll on anyone's mental health, which is why I have also reported to trading standards. A website so poorly run, and putting people's genuine safety in jeopardy is extremely calculated and sadistic. So if you don't value your happiness or want to develop mental health issues then go ahead and join this site

This site is enough to push anyone's mental health over the edge.

Since Vinted refuse to discipline members I shall do it myself and point out the members you need to avoid due to either scamming or abusive members. All listed below.

Vinted are committing Fraud and stealing money that is owed to me. Please! Do not use this site!

Upon successfully using this site to sell a jumper and having no issues selling or receiving the money I made, I decided to sell another item a few months later.

I sold the item for £60 but could not transfer the mony from my vinted account into my bank account. I contacted the "contact page" and reported my problem. Vintd replied stating that I had to fill out a form which they sent me a link for and asked that i send it back to them. The first issue is the form you fill out is a file type that is not supported to be sent back via the Vinted messsage board they use. I then had to take screen shots and send the complted form back via a picture file.

Vinted got back to me and said the images were blurred (See image I have attached that was sent to Vinted as part of the form and you will see it is not blurred) and to send it again. I found this odd as they were not blurred when I checked them. Anyway i did it again, checked the images again, which were all perfect and sent them.

Vinted sent me the same message, i clicked on the images in our shared message board, what I see on messages is what vinted see. The images were in no way blurred. I messaged vinted asking why they were saying this and from this point I have sent them the images at least 8 times to the point now they are being so obstructional that they pretend that I have not even sent the images and talk out of context and not even referring to the last message sent.

It is very clear this is a tactic to rip customers off. The fact they have been obstructional and now my only recourse is writing a complaint and having to mail it Slovakia or somewhere. Please, if the possibility of you not getting your money because of fraudulent practices I would stongly suggest that you do not use this site.

I've purchased about 80 items on vinted so far. I only gave 3 negative feedbacks and every one of them is was removed. Here's what happened.

The first item was actually a child's raincoat that was deceptively advertised as an adults. The seller refused to accept a return, sent 50 (yes 50) messages to me calling me a liar (had measurement pictures as proof).

Then she ADMITTED she had sent me a child's coat on purpose because someone else had sold it to her on the same premise and that she wanted to get rid of it... wtf

I forwarded this all to vinted and got refunded.

Vinted then removed this feedback: seller deceptively sold me a child's coat. I have screencaps proving this.

The second order was from a lady that never shipped my hoodir. A week later I get auto-refunded and left negative feedback only stating she didn't ship the item.

The seller immideatedly responds saying she had a baby and tells me in all caps to take down the feedback because she is "more important than me and my item". Yes. She really said that.

I was actually about to delete my feedback out of sympathy until she messaged me saying that she didn't even have the item anymore and threw it out 2 months ago...

I add this new info into my feedback and... feedback removed

This third one is the worst. I bought a nice handmade winter coat from a user. She leads me on for 10 days about how great the coat is and how warm I'll be. She says she has already shipped the item but the shipping never updates.

I leave negative feedback simply stating that she never shipped. But then I see her on another app and that she has sold the SAME HANDMADE ITEM for the same price to another person two weeks after I had already bought it.

I edit that into the feedback and that feedback was gone in a week. This is disgusting. All three of these people are still active users too.

Scam! Note: I HAVE HIGH REVIEWS AS A SELLER AND BUYER. NOT A SINLE DISSAPOINTED CUSTPMER FROM ME ON VINTED.

SO...

I ordered a pandorra charm, received a parcel with the empty box. Sent it to customer services. They were investivating for a month, saying they meed more info. I was always giving everything i could. Actually what can i give right? The box in the parcel was empty. So they were asking mw to wait, wait, wait. Then i went for Bank hol weekend, they sent me some carrier form to fill in - like a claim. Note: i am not a sender to claim (!). Item description etc etc. I was away, but apparently they needed this form back in TWO DAYS. After two days - they didnt receive my form, because obv i was away. And guess what - they closed the case, charged me for my purchase (!) and happy days. Such a rubbish customer service. I will be poating this everyqhere now so they all see and not use this scam app.

Blocked for nothing.

As the title says, I got blocked. I'm currently still arguing with customer support about it.
This was for counterfeit items. The item in question being a pair of perfectly real platformed Dr. Martens. When I put the listing up, I followed the suggestion of ways to prove legitimacy and took photos of the branding inside and the sizing chart on the tongue.
I put them at /less/ than half-off (for 180 quid shoes) and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if my listing got revenge reported because I wouldn't sell them for £50.

SO I got blocked instantly, no warning or post takedown or anything. And apparently, photos of every whichway isn't good enough to prove they're real. On a second-hand clothing resell site. Because I'm expected to have receipts and boxes for a present I received three-four years ago.

Now I cant track my purchases, despite supposedly being able to do that anyway. I probably wont be able to cancel/get money back or anything if something goes wrong either.

Talking to customer service about this is like talking to an automated bot. They also told me I got perma-banned (again? Double-blocked lmao) for 'my second violation'- which appears to be the fact I opened a ticket about this. It took bringing that up twice for them to go 'You are within your right to file any complaint you wish, and we will make a point of cooperating whenever needed.', which isn't really addressing the fact that they said otherwise. They also list every single response as done by a dif person. Which is either bot behavior or stupid.

Reeeeeaaaally wished I'd checked this site's reviews tbh.

The actual site is made really well, which is a shame.

Even if I get my account back, I wont be going back. Just wanna actually be able to track my current orders before leaving.

10/10, incredible, amazing, reminds me of the things I hear about Paypal.

If Selling - be prepared to have 50% to 100% of your listings deleted for absolutely ficticous reasons (copyright infringement if you take nice pics, duplicates if even one word is the same as another listed item, catalog non-compliance for items very much in compliance).

If you attempt to appeal via starting a Help inquiry - BE PREPARED! They will copy & Paste any of their pre-written responses and send them to you, even if the response doesn't make any sense. The most frustrating is when they stop copy & pasting and start outright lying (we deleted because you used the same photos... my response was to send screenshot I took immediately after listing and it clearly shows 2 different items... their response - oh wait - no we didn't actually delete anything -- see, you just sent us a screenshot that proves your items are still there!)... basically, the help desk folks get a 5 star review for mastering the skills of gaslighting, manipulation, intentionally lying, and telling you as their platform user to just STFU already, this matter is resolved - even though it is not.

Tracking updates are ATROCIOUS... sellers - beware! No clue how they do it - but they also re-use tracking numbers = track your label even before you get it pkg ready to go! And then --- make sure to keep a manual list of outstanding orders because they will NOT update items as delivered = YOU WILL NOT GET PAID when they do this (which is about 6 out of every 20 orders in my experience).

BUYERS - beware! If a seller sends you an item that is not as described - you will be paying retail shipping rates to return the POS you received. Vinted is equally as unhelpful to buyers as they are to sellers.

BOTTOM LINE - I'm 100% convinced this site is operational simply to be a tool for earning Google AdSense revenue -- and any inquiries or help requests submitted are perceived as annoying and disturbing their fun time of making bank on getting us to view pages!

I've had over 40 chats with Vinted in the last 6 months. Only 1 was handled in a professional and logical manner. The remainder were either eh, and as of this week - downright psychologically WTF.

I've been cheated

Pessimo trattamento nei confronti dei venditori, nonostante sia utente da anni e abbia solo recensioni a 5 stelle. Dopo aver effettuato una vendita, il cliente finge di aver ricevuto un altro articolo e che alla consegna del pacco, esso fosse aperto. Dopo una settimana di indagini mi comunicano che è stata colpa del mio imballaggio (nonostante avesse bolle anti-urto e double box), e che quindi il cliente sará rimborsato. Morale della favola: il cliente mi ha truffato e ha avuto l'articolo gratis, io ho perso soldi e l'articolo. Andró a denunciarli alla polizia e faró reclamo al Codacons perchè è irrispettoso un trattamento del
Genere.

Après quelques centaines. D'euros dépensés ced derniers mois et quelques dizaines. D'euros dépensés dans La protection acheteur, je viens de me. Faire avoir sur une commande, commande 3 articles, reçu seulement 2, malgré l. Protection acheteur et l'assurance comprise dans le. Transport Mondial Relay Vinted ne. Veut rien. Savoir et ne fait absolument rien... Ils encaissent tout. C'est du vol, de l'escroquerie... Le support client est minable et vous répond. En messages auto, toujours à côté de. La plaque... Minable!

Vergognosi! Un truffa bella e buona. Obbligano l'acquirente a pagare la restituzione anche per ordini che arrivano danneggiati, o incompleti! Perché io, acquirente, devo rimetterci di tasca mia per errori di altri? A che serve la "protezione" acquisti che si fanno pagare? Non hanno contatto telefonici, e in chat rispondono solo con messaggi automatizzati. Solo i TRUFFATORI si trovano bene con servizi del genere. Vergognosi!

Hanno perso il pacco e nonostante ti assicurano che tutto assicurato hanno rifiutato d pagare il rimborso, dicendo che nn era spedito correttamente, che avevo indicato l'indirizzo sbagliato che no ho assolutamnte vero inquanto avevo inserito il pacco nel locker point incollando l'etiqueta fornita da loro con indirizzo inserito da loro, ho solo stampato, applicat al pacco e spedito, ricevend l'email di conferma che era spedito correttamente: Quindi se non volete rischiare a perdere vostre cose vendete da qc altra parte
