A lot of times it goes well but somehow there are these scammers in France and Italy that scam you they'll break and cut your product on purpose so they get a refund and lie about it to vinted unfortunately they are the ones who are protected and not you i don't know why but even if you buy from them and the product isn't wat you want they always win vinted protects them and not you maybe vinted is biased to france and Italy who knows just watch out with to who you're selling and buying

Had a large closet with ~30 items, the website is poor at best, and you will waste your time. They want to charge to "Bump" you so that your items appear at the top of search, but you will lose money. Only had my items there for a few months and both myself (seller) and buyer gave up.

I purchased a jacket for my son. It was marked as delivered but it never arrived. I contacted Vinted regarding that issue and they sende some stupid fo to fill in. I don't have computer or phone on which I can do it plus I can't get out from home. I can't print it or take photo to send it back. I asked for help explaining my disability and help was denied with the se stupid answer that they can't do anything. Clearly they discriminating disabled ppl. I asked for manager to call me back and never got a call back but instead again same stupid answer. This is against English law and discrimination towards disabled ppl this website is a disaster and no clear manhunt to help just a bunch of unprofessional staff doing copy and paste with answers. I contacted citizens berau advice and will go against them in legal terms with discrimination not fulfilling their duty plus refusing contact with management.
I never was given a refund they just took the money out my bank and then but it back in. I never got my money back. Screenshots on a phone are from the 22nd of January and the ones on an ipad are from the 25th.
Good place to sell, bad to buy. Very high costs (shipping+fees) and zero buyer protection - if we are wrong we still have to pay the cost of the return and we can not even leave evaluation on the seller.

The site is likely very good is you sell things, terrible if you are a buyer. I was sent the wrong package, then the seller was rude when I said I could not immediately send it back. I did not get all my money back. Someone, either Vinted or the seller kept the original postal fee. Customer service non existent. Just don't use if you want to buy things.

Vinted protects sellers not the buyers. Had issues with items I purchased (e.g. Wrong size on the listing, unacceptable condition, items not being sent etc). In order to get a refund the buyer has to return the item at THEIR COST (this is not refunded)!

Items are sold at a pittance and still buyers want to negotiate the price arguing for 5Euros less on a price of 20Euro. It costs me more to sell an item on Vinted (the back and forth of messages, printing the label, going to the drop off point) than to make a seasonal trip it to a second-hand shop where my items will be sold at a far better price, faster and with less hassle. In addition, selling on Vinted takes forever, in the meanwhile the seller is stuck having to store all these clothes that are not needed anymore.

Vinted wont give the seller choice of who we post with, they let the customer pick & the customer picks evei the cheapest one, which is just as a bad as vinted for ratings. Then the customer gets refunded & the seller is out of pocket. I don't know what country vinted is operating from but what i can see its a big SCAM.
I will know cease business with vinted on these grounds. There is other websites that's got good customer service that goes in favour of the seller especially when you have the receipt.
I purchased an item and the money left my account. Next day seller refused to send me what I bought because I didn't have any reviews on my account (because my account was new). Also he was super rude, pushing me to transfer him money to the bank account. Then told me to educate myself, because I empathized how the platform Vinted is created to protect buyers and sellers in a way of holding the amount paid for the goods by buyers - until they received the purchased good from the seller. In this case seller was arguing with me that I want to scam him and on the top of it told me good luck buying there. I don't see a point of this seller being present on the market if he just gives you hard time and don't send the items to you ( and money still gets to be held for a week or so). Ridiculous. Pay attention and don't by anything from the seller named "seller1515" because you'll be treated as trash and the customer support didn't even allow me to leave him a bad review. If there is zero start review - that is what they deserve.
I have sold a few things on Vinted and that was great but its the being blocked every time I turn around for nothing, the item is fine not violating their rules then I have to message them and get it sorted.

SCAMMERS! Awful awful company. Avoid at all costs. Tracking label they provided for shipping did not work, so I paid for my own to meet the deadline provided by Vinted. Despite the customer confirming they had received the goods the tracking also confirming, Vinted thought it would be a good idea to reimburse the customer and refuse to pay me. Their resolution is for me to re-list the item and the customer re-purchase, which of course they haven't. They are refusing to offer any further help and now no longer responding to my messages. Can you believe scammers like these operate through so called legitimate companies, just look through the thousands of negative reviews. AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS BEFORE YOU ARE SCAMMED!

Vinted use Evri as a delivery service and allow them 21 working days to get your parcel to you. If/when it doesn't arrive, you have 2 days in which to request a refund. Is it reasonable to expect a company to take almost a month to get an item to you within the UK? Customer service is absolutely shocking. Don't risk it. Use other buy/sell sites that are more reputable and customer focussed.

The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
