Alles in allem sehr schlecht. Ich beende die Zusammenarbeit, denn in den letzten Jahren hat sich der Service stark verschlechtert. Mitglied Fashion.com14.
Vinted as an App, it's fine, I like it. However, if Vinted or any third party courier representative lose your package, you get nothing, with poor customer service and very questionable insurance fee. Based in true events!
Sub-quality items are placed for sale. The buyer protection fee is another scam by Vinted team to rob people off their money. People who cannot generally afford to buy new clothing get poorer with these scammers. The customer service support is non existent. Avoid this platform like a plague. The government should clamp down these companies for not following any rules and regulations.
Absolute joke of a company. Still now haven't received my item and the tracking information is still on there for proof saying it hasn't been delivered. Yet there's nothing Vinted can do. SHOCKING do not recommend at all. Pictures to follow of how poorly they handle customer service.
Purchased an item fortunately under £10 but it did not arrive. Asked seller to send picture or proof of delivery which was ignored. Vinted sent numerous forms which we completed & sent back but these also were ultimately ignored. Customer service non existent. Won't ever use again.
Vinted allowed someone to send me counterfeit Dior trainers and refused to refund me or even so much as remember the seller they still let it happen they don't care about customer service and good luck getting hold of them with no contact number complete scum of a company
Bought item, a week after dispatch courier's tracking 'froze' for ten days. I asked the seller...as Evri's customer, and the person with the receipt...for any info she may have, and received aggressive, patronising response. She then left critical feedback, sent abusive messages and reported me. I won't buy from vinted again, wish I had read reviews first.
As an update to my previous review regarding Vinted withholding my money from a sale they have finally released it. Interestingly, only after I posted a copy of my previous review directly to them. No apology or explanation and very poor communication. I would still be very careful if selling any item of high value on this site in case this happens to you.
Their customer service is literally non-existent. Parcel was damaged in transit yet they didn't care at all and just kept sending me automated responses relating to something completely different. I only managed to get my money back thanks to the seller who was really helpful and opened a dispute with them herself. Otherwise, very disappointing. Reading other reviews for this app is unbearable. Be aware when using Vinted.
Instead of deleting my perfectly photographed hand crafted brand new crochet slippers made by hand and with love. Vinted should delete the CRAP other sellers attempt to list and sell. "Sorry but your Aeropostale tee is NOT going to sell for 15$." Some sellers on Vinted need to just donate their crap to the goodwill or sell it for 3$ MAX... Vinted should weed these sellers out. Vinted standards have decreased! I do not recommend this app. You won't find what you are looking for. Although poshmark charges an arm and a leg for s&h, i prefer Posh or mercari.
I think the title pretty much says it all. I haven't sold one single item since January. I had over 100 items listed. Some people liked my items but no one ever bought. It's a waste of time. If you are frustrated you should feel completely validated...
I am both a buyer and seller, and have had great experiences with both uses of this app. I did find that the return system is a little difficult. But for getting and seller old slightly used clothes this app is my go to! Totally recommend!
I like the discounted shipping although it will end 4/30. Prices in general are good! Most of my buying experience has been good! Some sellers take a long time to reply or respond to offers or never do. I have received everything I've paid for. Now to my issues. The biggest one is that customer service is not great! No phone number-you message them. Robot replies unless you keep pushing. They won't pay for return shipping even if seller misrepresented the item! Currently I bought shorts described as very good. Paid $6 with fees/shipping. Came with 4 pulls/snags-a few big! Seller refuses to pay for return shipping and wants the item back! I am stuck paying $4.15 to send it back! Yes, they refunded my $6, however I am left out $4.15 with nothing to show for it! They need to force the seller to pay return shipping when an item is damaged. Another seller sold me a few items with stains. Vinted lets the seller pay you a partial refund via Venmo which is good. This seller said she would send me something else for free if I could fine one. Hopefully I don't have to pay shipping on that! I have sold one thing on Vinted without any problems. People will make very low offers, though; you can always decline or counter. At least as a seller you do not pay any fees.
I have been a very active member for about four years now and I have never been more frustrated with the app. I have been retaking photos of my items so that they look better and sell quicker but since there is no way to search through my own items I have to scroll and scroll (I have a big closet) until I find the item I'm looking for and then once I do, the app very often shuts down as I'm trying to upload photos. If I do manage to post the new photos, I often have to try multiple times to choose my covershot before it actually saves. Also, it's very frustrating that only five photos are allowed. I have been leaning towards using poshmark more recently because that app doesn't have nearly as many bugs, I can search items in my own closet (based on color, category, size, etc.), post 8 photos, select covershots without issue, and customize my closet by sharing my items whenever I want (instead of the stupid bump system where only the new items ever get noticed). I highly recommend fixing the bugs and working to improve some of the features I have mentioned or you will begin loosing dedicated members like myself to the more superior apps such as poshmark.
Wouldn't give more than one star and that is generous. Tried to use Vinted on the recommendation of a friend. Posted my item. Item was bought but couldn't complete the transaction and could complete the transaction because I am a Halifax customer and they don't work with them. Told use a different bank card but don't have one. So contacted customer service told to get the customer to cancel transaction then I would get blocked as a seller, just because they would accept my Halifax card. It was the tone of the message. This is not the way to treat a new user. I came away feeling really angry and will never use the site again. In future it would be an idea to put somewhere on the site what cards they will take.
Have just been blocked from selling my items on vinted. Reasons given as poss fraud and spamming? I don't even know what that is. But certainly haven't done anything fraudulent. Picked up by their automatic detection system.I was just messaging a customer back about buying a second bunting off me and then that blocked message came up accusing me of fraudulent activity days ago I tried to appeal. But no response as yet.poor customer service yet very quick to block people.wrongly.I am asking them to explain what exactly I have done. But no reply. Meanwhile I am losing sales and can't leave feedback for buyers. Absolutely disgusted at this lack of care. No explanation even. Certain products are banned from.sale. Then when you report others selling they say no it's ok. It's allowed. Yet mine are took off. No apology or explanation why. I even bought an item from vint ed that I tried to resell on there and got removed as not allowed yet I bought it from them...report them they said. Then I did and it's ok to sell. There's no consistency with their rules at all. Good items for sale at good prices. Was enjoying selling things but be aware they may just block you or remove your items. No reasons at all.
Absolutely appalling customer service sold a pokemon card on there that was triple packed and was damaged in transit. Refunded buyer and said I could not receive compensation due to poor packaging! Avoid this app at all costs they don't give a damn about the buyer of compensate when there shoddy third party couriers are in the wrong
Pathetic. Account blocked with no actual reason given. Appeals takes 120 hrs to revive a response which is far too long as there is no other lines of customer service. No transparency on complaints been impossible to launch one. Crap
Avoid at all cost,I have sold multiple designers items and didn't get paid, one time I used different shipping method(I didn't thought it against the law to do so),so once buyer received item and left positive review they refunded buyer.
Another time I have sent designer jeans, meanwhile vinted blocked(no idea why, they just say illicit activity without explanation.
Customer service is appalling, they keep saying the same thing as unfortunately that's the way it is,the owe me around 170£,and got blame and blocked for nothing
Use at your peril. While the interface is great to use, the issue is the customer service. It is absolutely appalling. They will not help you with any scenario. The only response they have is 'get in touch with the seller to see if you can come to an agreement'. Yet, the buyer pays for insurance. I have just had a parcel go missing, after it was stolen from my porch. I contacted customer services and was told there was nothing they could do. I have never been in this situation before and rather than honouring their insurance agreement with me I was told to contact the seller. As if the seller is responsible for my item going missing? EBay does not charge this insurance fee, and the few times in 20+ years that I've had an issue with eBay, it has been resolved amicably and very speedily. I am really not happy with how they treat their customers. If you do decide to use them I would urge you NOT to have parcels delivered to your home as you will NOT be secured by their insurance policy, whatever they claim. Also, unfortunately there is very little support for you in the case of a faulty item, as I also found out on another occasion that I contacted their appalling customer services department to get a resolution. A money grabbing and self-serving institution.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
