Vimeo Stole 5000$ from my Care Bear buddy... Not cool man... stealing is a great Sin... and Allah hates sinners

Excellent video community site. High quality and HD clips, and member uploads up to 500Mb a month or 5Gb if you purchase the Pro membership. The site is Web 2.0 designed but in a welcome way, with a good choice of colors and shapes and fonts that makes it feel very accessible, and it presents the videos in complementary surroundings instead of just dropping them into a disconnected environment.
Nothing fishing for commercial business is allowed, even from the pro uploaders, and there's a community to police the videos so that unwelcome visitors are removed without notice.
Comments tend to be enthusiastic and less juvenile than a certain other place, and the whole feel of Vimeo is one of casual professionalism. All the usual community features you would expect are here, including sharing and embedding, bookmarking clips for later, joining channels and following particular creators.
If only there were a somewhat lower quality option for people stuck using the free wi-fi at McDonald's, it would be a perfect venue. But as it is, we have to use a downloader and watch offline. That's fine in itself, but it does make your visit feel more like fishing than surfing. It wouldn't be so hard for Vimeo to detect your download bandwidth, but I can understand them not really wanting to offer low quality when they have such high standards. It's not enough to knock a star off, anyway, and this is very much a bookmarkable venue for most tastes.

Whats the point of using this platform when it's just a $#*!tier version of youtube, but with the same censorship policies?
I was charged $84 by Vimeo, I have no Acct and not able to contact one person in customer support service to rectify the fraudulent charge.
I've been using Vimeo for a long time, all of a sudden I got an email saying they deleted/terminated my account for uploading copyrighted material. Mind you I ask permission for things I used and 98% of the things I used are mine. I emailed them back asking them, which video was it? What was copyrighted? And they literally copied and pasted what they said to me in the previous email that told me I'm deleted, and at the end of the email they give a smart bottom remark saying basically to upload my videos else where. Disgusting. I got tired of their automative, fake responses, they don't care so I just blocked them from my email.
They do not care. They give no warning, no strikes, they don't care if you lose all of your videos.
And you can't upload HD videos, you have to pay for that. You can't upload long videos, you have to pay for that. And if you don't keep up your payments, I heard they delete your accounts. Vimeo is a complete mess and scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS SITE! IT IS AWFUL! I WISH I COULD GIVE IT A NEGATIVE 100!
Won't answer phone. Calling for days everyday. Nevwe have called back. Tricked me with the free month. DO NIT TRUST.
No good channels, Videos keep being deleted. What does this video hosting site has to offer that youtube doesnt?
I need URGENT service and I have no return on my ticket number *******. I no longer have the subscription and I would like you to solve my problem.
Bought a movie from vimieo. It was crap. Viveo refusesd to allow me leave a review or get a refucnd. $#*! service, $#*! movies. Vimeo is $#*!.
Vimeo is a quality YouTube. They focus on quality rather than quantity and it shows!
Very cool video sharing and the browsing experience is very good compared to Youtube
I had to use vimeo in order to submit a documentary I made for a film contest. Seconds after I typed in my information to create a new account, I was greeted by a typical "select-you-payment-plan" page. However, all was not as it seemed. The selection for the free basic plan, labeled, "continue with basic" was blocked out and I was unable to select it. After searching the website for several minutes, not wanting to select a monthly payment option for a one-time upload, I finally found a small, blue link in the top righthand corner labeled, "Continue". This was my first red flag, since never before had I encountered a website where the free trial was made so difficult to find. I thought to myself, "okayyy..." before preceding. But my troubles had only begun! When I tried to upload my video, I was told the file was too big because it was over 5MB. This was my second red flag, since just about all professionally made videos I've come across in my film class and created myself (Finalcut Pro, Premire, ect.) have all exceeded 5MB. Irritated significantly at this point but wanting to enter the contest, I decided to select a payment plan. Since I would only be using the site once, (not to mention I'm a sophomore in college, so I don't have much money to begin with) I was not thrilled about having to pay to upload my video, but the site said the "Pro-option" (The next level from basic) was only $7 a month. Thinking to myself, "Well, seven dollars isn't much, so I'll just pay it once and cancel it later.) As Sherlock would say, "Wrong!" Not only did it turn out I would be paying $84 instead of $7, but when I went to cancel the payment plan since $84 is waaaay too much money for me to spend on a one-time use program with a college budget, but there was no contact information on their website, (I had to use google to find out their email) and absolutely no way to contact them by phone at all! I ended up having to call the bank to get things straightened around, since it would have taken far too long to get an email back from Vimeo to get a full $84 refund. In conclusion, I ended up turing in the video on a different site, and will never again use vimeo! Two middle fingers up to them is my review!
What's not to love about Vimeo. Great choice, user friendly!
Ok, this is NOT Youtube.com. Still better than Dailymotion.com, in my opinion!
No doubt vimeo is good site! But still i always prefer YouTube searching for videos and music.
Hahahahahaha you no like ryan,,,, hahahaha we like ryan hahahhahahhahahhh and hahahahhhahah and hahahahh
Answer: I'd check the fine print. Then I'd check again. Then I'd have a backup plan if you're gonna use Vimeo. In case you wake up one morning and you can't access any of your videos.
Answer: I heard that Vimeo is very anti-Semitic, they wanted to make a Jewish co-host lose his job at a pro-peace channel. It's just like another holocaust in my opinion... or even worse, the immigration crisis of Latin Americans going to the US.
