Before opening my own online clothing shop I shopped at Venus for many years, great quality clothes always the right fit. Although I may by less from them I anticipate still being a customer.
I can't believe all the negative comments... I love this site and have never been disappointed!

I placed an order for 3 suits. Shipping was said to be 3-5 days. After placing the order and them TAKING MY MONEY shipping is now 7-10 days out! Will not arrive on time! I reached out to Venus and was told to contact DHL, that there was nothing they could or would do. NO partial refund, NO offer to ship out to me quicker, NOTHING. I will not place an order with them again and will be sure to tell all my friends to STAY AWAY. I

Ive been purchasing at the very least a couple hundred dollars worth of clothing from venus yearly for about the last 7 years and been extreamly happy. This last year however was a completely diferent story. The quality was ridiculously poor. When the clothes came in they looked more like something from those fly by night Chinese knock offs on those supercheap websites online. I couldnt believe it. I had at least 7 items come in and only one was wearable! They were either wayyy too small or a shirt i could wear in Miami on a hot summer day rather then the sweater material it claimed. Im so so so disapointed. I loved shopping here...
I just received these nasty $#*!. 50$ looking cheap $#*! clothing and sandles that have cow bells ringing sounds when I tried on. Smh. Lol. Lol. I'm soo mad right now I have to laugh. Lol. I've gotten cuter clothing that fits better from the Family Dollar store than this lying unethical discussing company called Venus.com.
I received the other day and ship back the next day. What really gets me is that the free paid shipping label is not FREE. They deduct out of Refund WTF and you'll never get my business no more. I filed a claim through my bank I'm getting all of my monies back. They're not a ligit no morals bad customer service Co..
ORDERED A SHIRT 3 WEEKS AGO - HOPING FOR A MEMORIAL DAY PARTY ATTIRE. WHEN I CALLED SUNDAY 5/27 THEY SAID OOPS ITS ON BACK ORDER - MAYBE MID JUNE - VENUS NEEDS TO UP THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EARLIER RATHER THAN ME CALLING TO FIND OUT THEY SCREWED UP
We apologize for the confusion. Our system has different order numbers for backorders and the original orders. When your original order was placed, it had a standard order number. When it is converted to the backorder, the system "resolves" the original order number by marking it as "shipped". As a result, the actual order has not shipped; the system just converted your reservation of the item on backorder to its own order number.

Canadian Customers BEWARE! They are terrible! Their carrier loses orders and Venus does not account for it. Awful customer service, on hold over 2 hours and 11 minutes. I would not recommend.

I buy a ton of my clothes from this site. Almost everything that you see on line is what they sends you. I would recommend them in a heart beat. The are fashionable current, sexy and very stylish.
I would have given 0 stars if I could. Do not order from this company. Poor service along with long wait for items. Most of the clothing isn't true to size and honestly not of good quality.

Pros:
Good pricing when there is a sale or items that you want on clearance, which I lucky enough to find 4 items that I wanted
If you exchange by phone, shipping is free for the new item but you will still have to pay for the return/exchange shipping
Customer service was very pleasant when I called and they were very happy to help me out and answer my questions.
I ordered shape wear, skirt, and 2 swimsuit tops and all have been pretty good quality for the price I paid (but as I mentioned they were on clearance/sale).
I loved the Roxanne push up Swimsuit top because it helped shape while also providing a bit of lift so I don't look totally flat!
I also was satisfied with the Fringe Skirt I ordered although it is a little too long but nothing a little rolling up can't fix.
Shipping is quick they have a 7 business day guarantee! Without an extra charge of any kind and I thought it was reasonably priced at about $8.
Cons:
Charge for return shipping if not by phone
No way to filter selections (ie. Price from low to high, colors etc.), just scroll through the many options that they have available, and it might not even be in your size!
All of the items I ordered are delicate or hand wash only

I can't say I hate Venus, I've ordered from them quite a few times already. But I don't think I will order from them again. Some clothing comes in looking very different then the pictures, a lot of what I've gotten was cheaply made, for the price I paid. Skirts that looked mermaid style came in boxy shaped or A line. Clothing with corset detail that looks like silky ribbon comes in and is cheap string, or a cotton type ribbon you'd find a pajama set from Ardene's tied with. Sizing is off, I've ordered a few size 2 jeans and they came in too tight. Size small leggings and they came in too big. Ive gotten clothing I absolutely love though, like a Aztec fall jacket, And a white dress. I think it's worth checking out and looking around the site. If looking to buy check out the sale or clearance, before going for full priced items. I have never bought shoes so I cannot comment on that. Shipping is very expensive, you have to pay when your shipment hits the boarder (duty and taxes) Which will be a seperate charge from your original purchase.

Quite reliable. Quality is hit and miss but I have been ordering from them for a while. Quick shipments. Really reliable. Great customer service. Not a scam at all.

I have bought many clothes from VENUS. I love the clothes. They tend to run a little large, but that is okay with me. Great value and Excellent quality.
I will never buy from this page again! I bought 4 items from site they were all biger than true size so i returned them, used sticker and now i have refund 17$ less cus they charge for everythng, besiades clothes are not as that cute like on site the run really large and that is it, i will never ever ever buy from this store again! First of all, why am i unable to find the spot to write a review directly on their site? Not to mention all the reviews on the items seem to be positive?. RED FLAG... I ordered a couple items and i noticed some of the colours advertised are not the same in person. ALSO this romper that had amazing reviews was on of the items i purchased, and yes in the description it stated that the "print may vary", presuming that obviously they would be the same style of prints, just laid-out differently. NOPE this one looked beautiful in the advertised photo, and the one i received is not only different patterns, but it looks like its from china where they attempted to use the same prints and colours? What the heck? ALSO it looks super pink, but not a nice pink. It looks like you accidentally washed it in hot water and the red colours bled creating an ugly pink colour. Upon reading reviews of other people from this site i've noticed a few stating they're are being charged for shipping to return their items and i'm from Canada so i can only imagine how much i would be charged... Also for my purchased bathing suits I ordered the size that went with my measurements from the site and its a tad too small... I am normally a small/medium in clothes and i ordered a couple of bathing suit bottoms in an 8 just to be sure that they would definitely fit and they are still too small... Clearly China is making these clothes, because it certainly cant be made in the U.S. Also they smell weird, which given me another indication that they have to be coming from china...

I purchased 3 items from Venus, which took a long time to ship. 2 pairs of jeans and a skort, all of which were too big. I followed their size chart and had the impression that some things would be too small so I am confused as to what is going on with that.
I was going to return to Venus, but noticed I didn't have a shipping label. I contacted them and was told that customers in Canada are responsible for their own returns. I Check out the cost and oh man, we are not doing that.
Decided to resell online, hope that works. Venus' return policy isn't very good, why the hate towards Canada? I spent the money same as your American customers, I'd like to be treated fairly. I would have been happy to exchange, but being told that lets me know that shopping with Venus will always be a hassle, returns and exchanges will never be possible. There are plenty of other places for me to shop.
The clothes I got were actually pretty nice, I'm sad that I cannot enjoy them. But for those prices and making exchange and return this difficult, I'll pass on that from now on.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
