I ordered a phone case on Black Friday. The site said it would take 3-6 business days to be delivered to me. I signed up for text updates on my delivery. Not only did I never receive those updates and did the link they provided for updates tell me my product hadn't even shipped a full week after I placed my order, when I contacted them to ask why that was, they never even replied to me.
Disgruntled, I went to their track package link to see if it still said it had never even shipped. I clicked the USPS link and found that my package had shipped around when it was supposed to despite their site saying otherwise and their lack of response to me, however, even though the address I provided them was entered correctly, my package was not even in the right state and was already in-transit.
Worse still, the next day, I received an email update from Velvet Caviar informing me my package had been delivered. I checked and there was no package. I checked the USPS site and it told me that my package had been delivered back to the factory it was sent from.
Almost immediately, I emailed them with the screenshot off the USPS site confirming that it was not delivered to the address I provided telling them that no, contrary to their email, I had NOT received my package. A full day later, I still have not gotten a response out of them or any indication they are trying to fix this problem. Based on other reviews regarding their shipping and their customer service, I'm not sure I'm going to at all.
I am very disappointed in a case for Samsung Galazy S9. For it to fit properly, support sent a video link on how to bend the case for it to become more flexible. For them to have to make a video is the final red flag! I tried as they said but no luck - it still presses all of the side buttons and even restarted my phone into safemode somehow. Its extremely to get on and off and is clearly manufactured incorrectly. This is unacceptable. I will never purchase from them again.

I do not usually write reviews (even for bad service), but I don't want others to have the same problem. The horror stories you read about this company, LISTEN TO THEM. I personally ordered 3 sale phone cases and was extremely excited to receive them. For starters, it took 4 days just to ship out. Then, when I finally received the cases and opened them, I realized the quality is nothing like what is shown in the pictures on the website. The colors are different and not vibrant, edges around the camera holes were peeling, and (on the fur case I bought) the fur edge can be clearly seen where it was glued on around the entire case and can also easily peel off. Because of the extremely low quality, I politely emailed the company and requested my money back. They told me that because they are sale cases, I can only get store credit. I specifically looked at each case before I bought them and made sure "final sale" was nowhere on the page. To make matters worse, each case has a small picture of a delivery truck near it on the site that says "easy returns". This made it safe to assume that these cases could be returned. I told velvet caviar support that there was no way for me to know that the cases were final sale and they refused to give me my money back, saying I can only get store credit. This is ridiculous because it is obvious that any other case I buy with this credit will be just as low quality. I am disappointed that I wasted a decent amount of money on this site, just to feel as though I'm being scammed. I end this post by saying: do not buy from velvet caviar.

I had just purchased an iPhone XR and was in need of a case, stat! I went to velvetcaviar.com and was delighted to see their Coffee Please glitter case, but was so heartbroken to see that it wasn't yet available for the iPhone XR. I placed my order for another case on a Saturday evening, and Sunday evening, I saw that it was finally available for the XR! I was very excited and emailed customer service to see if I could switch out my previously placed order with the Coffee Please one. They were very good in replying back to me, and within about a week, I had the case in my happy little hands. Lexie with customer service was very accommodating and patient with me. I would gladly buy from them again!
I purchased multiple cases from Velvet Caviar. Each case is beautiful stylish & very strong lasting. I love these cases and keep every one of them even if I upgrade my phones. I love how they are so cute good looking feels good in the hand but also sturdy strong and very impressive. I love Velvet Caviar & will be a fan for life. Every time I get a new upgrade phone I always go straight to Velvet Caviar.
I've now purchased twice from Velvet Caviar, for a Samsung and an iPhone. I had a slight dilemma this morning when my new case arrived and I messaged them right away, considering I'm from Australia, I got a super impressive quick response, within 10 minutes and they could tell me exactly the cause of my problem and fixed it in a matter of seconds. I would recommend this company to anyone.
I got a refund, thankfully, and they were kind to me. I did not put my real name on here, so I understand why the velvet caviar team was confused but kind in response to my review. I know others have had bad experiences with them, because I honestly think their phone cases are terrible. But, if you are kind when asking for your money back, you'll get a kind response. These people are human too, and though it may be super unprofessional, they have the power to screw you over... just a warning.
I was stupid not to look up if the site was legit and found all these horror stories that add up to my own: I bought the holo black marble and the buttons didn't work. They said that this was common and I tried what the woman suggested, which was to stretch out the area of buttons for like 15-20 seconds. They said that it was normal, but it didn't work at all... I'm trying very hard to get it returned and want to know where in NYC this place is located, because if they're playing games, I'm going to find their office... unfortunately they left no address. Would anybody know where it would be?
I ordered my Holo Moonstone case with matching ring & was extremely happy with the products, it was better than I imagined! First the service from VC is flawless. I messaged the FB page with some questions & received replies within an hour. When I ordered my set, it arrived about 3 days early! It's mesmerizing and so pretty AND durable. The case feels / is sturdy & has a matte texture so it isnot slippery. Top quality! Never buying a case from anyone else again

- My case is beautiful and shipped promptly. You DO have to stretch it at first, because it did put pressure on the volume button, but to take a few minutes here and there the first day or two is not a big deal to me. It's just a different material than a usual phone case. Had mine a month and haven't had that problem past a day or two, which they tell you about up front.
- when I asked about the volume button and another question, I messaged their Facebook and they got right back with me and were SO helpful! My other issue was that I did not stick my ring on correctly, so it didn't stick, they helped me try and figure out a solution
- when I couldn't find a solution, I emailed their return department to exchange my ring. Before I could even get my old one in the mail, they had sent me a brand new one over-night! I was shocked when it showed up the next day in the mail. I've never had such good and easy service on an exchange.
I honesty had the best experience with this company, and love my product! I have recommended them to multiple people
I will preface this by saying I am NOT the sort that takes to the internet to leave bad reviews. In fact, I keep telling myself... it's $15 and it's a stupid phone case, move on with your life. But I'm very disappointed in this company and I see they monitor this so my hope as a fellow business owner is to give them some constructive feedback.
I ordered my case after seeing an ad on Instagram. I was very excited about the one I chose and the quick turnaround time promised for delivery. A few days later it was marked as delivered and I rushed home to find my locked mailbox completely empty. I emphasize that it's locked because they suggested that someone took it at first. Then the suggestion was that it was still on the carrier's truck and they "accidentally" marked it as delivered. I gave it the rest of the week... it didn't show by Friday. So I emailed again asking for a refund.

We are sorry to hear that. Unfortunately we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, therefore can not issue a refund. Once the packages leaves the shipping facility, it is in the hands of the carrier. We have no control over the package being lost by the postal service. As a courtesy, we can create a code for you to place a new order that will cover the cost of the item minus shipping.
I have worked in a customer based industry my entire adult career and never would I dream to tell a customer that I am not responsible for them paying for a product or service and not receiving it. In fact, I shop a lot online and have had this happen to me a couple of times before. Once with Barnes and Noble and once with Target. In both instances, they sent me a replacement at no additional cost to me.
In this day and age where competition sprouts up overnight to do what you do but better and cheaper, surely this company should be more concerned about their reputation.
I don't care about the money, the shipping is probably no more than $10... I care that they don't care. That's what bothers me as a consumer. To suggest that I pay for a product I already paid for again is such a slap in the face that I can't bring myself to stay away from leaving a poor review.
I also sent them a very long email mostly because I am indignant and haven't had coffee yet.
I wouldn't say don't buy from them, do it! But just be aware what you're getting into and be willing to walk away from the money you paid if you don't get the service or product you expected.
Horrible customer service... Several days and my order has not even shipped out yet, all I have is a tracking number that doesn't even work. I would not recommend that anyone ever buy from Velvet Caviar.
I ordered the holo moonstone case. It's beautiful BUT is ill fitted and pushes the volume button up constantly so my lock button and volume down don't work. I emailed customer service and they argued that the case wasn't defective and just needed to be "stretched". When have you EVER had to stretch a case?!? Wasn't happy that they insisted i was wrong and then expect me to pay for shipping it back to them for a refund. Waste of $40

I've ordered twice from Velvet Caviar, and I'm honestly impressed. The shipping is fast, they always have good deals going on, customer service gets back to you promptly, and the cases are a great value. You can get cute cases that are also protective- without breaking the bank. I dropped my phone 4' onto cement, and my phone was unscathed! Oh and also, the recent purchase (midnight floral case & grip ring) looked so nice that my male coworkers have been complimenting it haha!
I absolutely love my new phone case from VElvet Caviar. Its absolutely beautiful and I paid a fraction of what I have had to pay in the past for pretty cases and this one is way better quality. I got the opal/crystal looking case, a phone ring and a clear glass cover. I messaged customer service about my own phone glass being broken and they went above and beyond to direct me to getting things in working order. I love the Velvet Caviar products and now the people. I was recently introduced to this company. I purchased some items and had an issue with one particular item in the order. I reached out to customer service and not only were they very transparent about this issue with the product but they also gave me great options to rectify the problem. Furthermore, the rep I spoke with via email was very quick to respond in our back and forth corespondence. I believe companies have lost the art of good customer service but Velvet Caviar seems to make that a staple within their company! I highly recommend this company. I placed my order on a Monday morning and by that Friday my order was still in processing, I was somewhat confused as to why. I emailed Velvet Caviar support and my emailed was replied to within a hour. The customer service lady (Lexie L.) told me that the case was out of stock and that she was very sorry no one reached out to me, no big deal. I asked her if I could just get a phone case that was the same price. I sent her screenshots of two I liked. She said that would be perfectly fine and she would have them shipped out immediately. I later received my tracking email; my package also arrived a day earlier than predicted by the email, which was great. I was also very surprised when I opened my package to find not one, but both of the cases I asked to replace the other one. I was so excited to see them both in the box. The customer service at Velvet Caviar go out of their way to please their customers. Great work!
I ordered a beautiful charger, ring and charger. After a couple days, I hadn't received a shipment email. I messaged them directly and they responded within the hour. They informed me that the charger that I had chosen was unfortunately no longer available. They gave me options to get a refund or choose another charger (regardless of cost difference) I chose another charger and it's currently on the way:-) Their customer service is fantastic! Extremely friendly, accommodating and took care of the issue within a few simple emails. I will definitely be using this company in the future.
My experience with Velvet Caviar was fantastic. When I received my original order from them I noticed that it was defective. I reached out to customer service and they responded almost immediately and ended up giving me a gift card to repurchase the case. When I repurchased it I accidentally ordered the case for an iPhoneX instead of an iPhone 8+. Again I reached out to customer service and they amended the issue quickly with no issues. My shopping experience was great and I am definitely going to be shopping here again and recommending this site to my friends!

Answer: Hello Amberlynn! I'm sorry to hear about the ring issue! We suggest that you make sure you press on the back plate of the ring from all edges and hold it for 20-30 seconds. Also, check to make sure the ring is sticky on all areas of the adhesive. We also suggest leaving it applied to the case & under something heavy overnight! The rings adhesive is meant to stick on any of our matte or gloss cases. It's best if you apply it immediately and press down on it hard to ensure it sticks firmly. However, rest assure the ring should adhere properly to your case if it is from Velvet Caviar :) Let me know if this helps!
