BUYER BEWARE

Trying to reach this company live is a total JOKE.
No Live Chat option on their website
No phone number on their website
Phone number listed after a Google search ends up being the number for Door Dash

Items received in an order were not as described, damaged and looked like a previous return.
Your only option is to email them and they state a response will take 2-3 business days!

Shipping was slow but I received my iPad pro case and AirPods case. Both look great. However after three weeks the iPad case started to gray. No after six months the adhesive has worn off and it is now falling apart. Not worth $80.

Ordered iphone 13 case as it looked pretty on their website and paid $15 for international shipping. They shipped using DAI post, a shipping carrier that I have not heard before and after 14 days tracking said delivered. I checked and could not find my package. Very disappointing. Contacted both passport shipping and velvet caviar, they gave me the same stupid generic answer, to check with neighbours and wait for a few more days. Not helpful at all. I lost my money to these scammers. Useless customer service.

Poor customer service

Brought a case for my new phone on the Velvet Caviar website. Somehow, the wrong-sized case got added to my order and shipped. Velvet Caviar was completely unhelpful in resolving this issue. They told me it wasn't their problem. Issue remains unresolved. I recommend you buy from somewhere else…from a business that stands behind their product and systems and that provides satisfactory customer service.

Awful Site, Even Worse Customer Service

Over the weekend, I accidentally ordered a case in the wrong color. According to their site and their confirmation email, the only way to make changes is to send a message through their web portal, which I did. Since it was the weekend, I didn't expect a response until Monday. On Monday, I got a shipping notification but the tracking site said the item could not be found. So I responded directly to the shipping notice email to ask if it was cancelled and received a reply that they had never gotten my message to cancel the order. If I wanted my money back, I would need to return the order and I would not be compensated for shipping. This could have been avoided if customers were either allowed to cancel their orders themselves or chat with customer service in realtime to immediately resolve issues. I followed their instructions but their web portal apparently didn't work, so I have to pay for that.

I want to like this company because the cases are so cute but unfortunately I can't because the customer service is trash. They say that you can email them and they'll respond within 24 hours but that definitely doesn't happen. Also, don't say that you can change your order if you have a problem with it if you email them ASAP because they definitely won't respond to you at all. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Wrong size
May 17, 2023

I ordered aa case to fit my iPhone12 Max Pro. They sent me the correct color but a case for iPhone 14. I asked for a return label and not to be changed the $5.00 restocking fee. I get an email asking for a photo of the case. I sent it. Today they want a new photo. I guess somehow, they think my phone either shrunk by an inch or overnight the case grew an inch. To send a customer the wrong case and then harass them about returning it shows what a shady company this is. I guess I am just stuck with a case I will have to throw away. Stay away from this company!

I haven't received item for $12, they re sent it when I asked for refund n then when I didn't receive that one they would not refund n blamed me. Also u have to pay for shipping to send back... So u basically pay almost whole amount to just keep it.

Does not protect phone at all!

My cat knocked my phone off bathroom countertop, which is about 3.5 feet high. The case offered no protection to my iPhone 13pro Max! The entire back of the phone is shattered. Thank God I had a screen protector on the front because it cracked it as well. The flooring in bathroom is wood.

ORDER

I order a case 7 days ago and paid extra for a quick ship (per website 1-3 days). Today is 7 days and I still have not received. Beware of purchasing if you are needing before you leave town. You WILL NOT receive in 1-3, nor will you receive in the 3-5 days. Very disappointing! Would not let me upload my tracking info.

Scam

I made a purchase from their website on 9/11/2024, the item
I bought showed in stock at the time of purchase and did so
For at least the week after i made my purchase. On 9/14 i
Decided to reach out via email as my order hadn't shipped, I
Did not receive a response by 9/17 even though the website
States responses can be expected after 24 hours, so I
Emailed them again, no response, I emailed them yet again
And finally got a reply to my last email. They stated the item
I purchased was sold out and that I either needed to pick
Something else or wait for a restock, I was not offered a
Refund. I reached out to them on social media and was told
They would be reaching out to customer service, again my request for a refund was ignored. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and reached out to my bank about doing a charge back. BEWARE! I honestly don't even think they have half of what they claim is for sale, it makes no sense for them to not notify their customers if the item they purchased is out of stock, why did I have to contact them so many times before they finally said something and now they are trying to force me to spend money on something else?

Amazing!

They have some of the best phone cases! They protect your screen and camera. Very detailed and time put in designing these cases. Shipping and delivery is so quick I receive my package within 4 days. I've never had any problems and they gave me a percentage off when it was my birthday (which was sept 22) super satisfied and I highly recommend!

They are Crooks

I ordered a Portfolio for my daughter's Ipad. Never received it and when they refused to reimburse me or send a new one I ask my bank to do a do a chargeback on my account. They contacted me and said they would reimburse me if I cancel the chargeback. I did and they still refuse to reimburse me even though I produced proof of cancellation, a letter from the bank. They claim it's not done in their system. THE BANK said they never sent anything in their system that they are lying, STAY AWAY from them

The case yellowed quickly they told me to clean it. Didn't work. Wouldn't cover under warranty said it was from normal wear and tear. It's a good case very sturdy but looks gross. Don't get the clear cases.

I have always enjoyed and had good luck with the cases I've bought from VC. HOWEVER, the shipping is terrible. It takes them forever to get orders to the carriers (weeks). The days listed in your shipping type are irrelevant. It's going to be way longer than that. I generally wait 2-3 months for my items to arrive in Canada. $#*!ing brutal.

All I can say is CHEAP quality! Definitely not worth the money. They don't make returning easy in you either. You have to email them and hope they respond. Praying I get my hard earned money back for this junk.

Don't order from them

I ordered a case and I also paid for fast shipping and then I got a email saying it shipped to the wrong address and so now it's saying I have to pay for it to be shipped again. And the adress I put it for IS my address. So when I tried to get it re shipped it's saying my information is incorrect but I literally checked it letter for letter. So there's nothing I can do now and I just lost like 60 dollars and there's nothing I can do.

I love the selection on this site, the cases and ring holder things are super cute. I was pretty disappointed though, as when I placed the order it said it would be $39 including tax and shipping (there was a promotion for free shipping) however when I checked my bank account almost $50 had come out. I emailed the support for the site as well as messages in Facebook and never heard back from either. I did receive the products very quickly and am really happy with the case, however disappointingly the ring holder thing only stick to my phone for about a day and a half. I'm pretty disappointed, as I was expecting at least an email back regarding my concerns.

These are absolutely beautiful cases but I am thoroughly disappointed in the product itself. The buttons don't work and despite 'stretching the case' as the company suggested for over 1 hour it still doesn't work. There is simply not enough material on the inside of the case for the buttons to reach the actual buttons on your phone despite one's efforts. I bought two cases and I'm really disappointed I can't use them because of this manufacturing issue that seems to be very common according to most reviews. Beautiful designs yes, but absolutely a poorly made product.
