I ordered my stairlift on January 19, was told it would ship in 4 days. Two weeks later after not recieving a stair lift or a phone call I called USMedical Supplies. I was told they were waiting for the cardboard to ship it and it would ship in a day or two. Second week of February I called to find out where my stair lift is, I was told they were waiting for parts! Meanwhile, my 85 year old mother is sleeping on the couch, can't climb stairs to her bed. Payment for my stairlift has been taken.

If you're ready to buy, USMEDICALSUPPLIES makes it easy. I was hesitant to make large purchases not having dealt with the company, and felt rushed, so I waited a few days to think it over and compare prices. When I realized they were going to price-match a Pride scooter plus include free shipping, I pulled the trigger. At that point I felt like I was very well taken care of. The salesman really did keep in touch through emails and phone calls, and the order arrived quickly in perfect condition. As a result, I ordered a lift chair from them and received it today (well before I expected it). It also arrived in perfect condition.

We needed a stair lift from our garage to the living level, which was six steps. We ordered the AmeriGlide Rave 2 model through U.S. Medical Supplies. Their sales representative was very helpful and in addition to taking the order, he gave me some helpful tips on installation, since I did the installation myself. I am 80-years old but pretty handy with tools. Delivery was quick and the system came in three boxes. Since our lift was short, the rail came in one piece mostly assembled. It did require the addition of the upper end piece after the chassis was installed. One of the tips the sales representative gave me was to make sure the rail was placed far enough from the wall (in my case the hand rail) to allow clearence for the chair when installed. I my case the edge of the rail was 3.5 inches from the wall. The installation went pretty well. When starting up, I found there was a defective spring in the seat unit and it didn't provide enough tension on the seat swivel lever to keep its safety sensor engaged. The unit was functional but you had to jiggle the lever. I reported this to the representative and he arranged for a quick shipment of a repacement seat unit, which required about 10 minutes to replace. I am very pleased with the unit and the service from U.S. Medical and AmeriGlide.

I contacted US Medical Supplies after my father had a total knee replacement and came to the conclusion that the recliner that he was using was not going to work. It was too soft and too low. I spoke with Justin Stapely and he walked me through my options asking questions that mattered for the fit. The chair is a god send. My father is safe and the knowledge of the salesperson and their willingness to work with me was so easy and stress free. I recommend to anybody that has mobility issues and looking for a good product made in the USA.

The rubix model was purchased and installed for my mother-in-law, who is recovering from a stroke and has come to live with us. The lift was installed and operates as promised and she she thrilled to this degree of mobility in her control. The support offered by the company is what helped us to make our decision to go with Ameriglide, as opposed to another company on a long list of providers. Dusten Jorden was an asset to the company and a tremendous help to us.

I have been trying to get my type 1 diabetic pump and cgm supplies for over 4 weeks and still no movement in the right direction. I had to reexplain my situation every time I called US Med and when I finally called and demanded a manager I told her how I feel like a number that will never get called and she said "Mrs. Coleman, we never said you are a number." My name does not have Coleman anywhere in it... I am happy I am not trying to get these supplies for a child or I would be truly losing my mind. We decided to pay Edgepark the deductible to get the quality service they provide. Edgepark is worth every penny. You couldn't pay me to go back to US Med.

We have been using this chair now for a couple of weeks and my husband just loves it. It's soft, comfortable, and raises him up almost to a stand which really helps his poor knees.

I see other reviews with only 1 star and wonder what went wrong. Were these people really competent to get into a project like this. Seeing as this was my second time through the process I guess that helped. The initial process of placing the order was done at the end the day on a Friday so the C/S rep had to call back on Monday because there were a few questions he had forgotten to ask at first. After that it was like clockwork. The shipment arrived on UPS in 3 or 4 good sized boxes, everything was well marked, no box was too heavy for one man to lift. I did find a few loose nuts and washers from UPS tipping the box over and over, they came out of the inside box but were contained in the outer shipping box. The long rail had been damaged a little at the factory, you could see he filed the bent portion flat and smooth but missed another dent 8" further up. I took care of it in 5 minutes. The installation booklet could have been better, there were two times my brother-in-law and I were scratching out heads, but eventually it all came together. Total installation time was 8 man hours and everything worked the first time.

In taking care of my elderly father on my own, I have found it to be a loving challenge. I have dealt with many agencies and companies that are less than compassionate in helping with caretaking decisions. My experience with usmedicalsipplies.com met every high standard I demand. This provides a lot of information about the different models and features of the company's stair lifts, so the buyer can narrow the options to be considered. For do-it-yourself folks, there are extremely helpful videos showing how to install a stair lift. Phone support for questions and purchase was very good -- you get connected to a human being right away. Email exchanges about questions were answered promptly by the person to whom I spoke on the phone (thanks, Roger Adams!). The stair lift that I purchased (the basic Ameriglide model, used) arrived sooner than I had expected. Installation was straightforward -- thanks to the videos mentioned above. And, most importantly, it works very well after a month of daily testing of the stair lift -- I see no reason why it should not continue to work well for a long time.

Vandiver told him what we were looking for he went over what was available helped with the fine tuning took charge from their filled out the order with our needs with prices and everything we needed to know, had it shipped to our home our son installed it the contractor he works foe had done this befor everything was the with the directions a few hours later I was going up and down with ease the part that took the longest was waiting for the batteries to charge Mr. Tayler Vandiver did a great job taking care or our needs I would ask for him again if needed Thank you Paul Knepp

I had a terrific experience with this website and company. I needed to buy a chairlift for my mother before she came home from the nursing home, and I was under pressure to get it done quickly so that everything would be ready to go when she arrived home. Michal, the representative, provided the human touch I needed. We talked extensively on the phone several times about the different chair lifts and the different prices. I felt zero pressure to buy the more expensive lift. In fact Michael spent a lot of time letting me know the features of the lift with the used engine if I needed to save some money. I ended up purchasing the new Rave chair lift and we are all extremely satisfied with it. Michael made sure to get it shipped to us when we needed it, which actually was a rush job, but we were not charged extra for the rush; the installer in our area came out when arranged, and the lift is working perfectly.

Most importantly, my 89 year old mother is happily at home again. She keeps telling me how happy she is to be home, and she keeps smiling. This would not be possible without the chair lift.
