1 Thief gives UPS a bad name!
December 12, 2022

I was notified of a special Christmas package having been delivered. However, no picture was taken, my doorbell didn't show anyone arriving at that time, and there is no package. UPS needs to hire more honest and responsible people if we are to entrust in you delivering valuable packages. They should be ashamed of themselves...and so close to Christmas. I'll go to Fedex next time.

Not sure if this is the fourth or eighth package every time since it's going to be dropped off Friday don't end up seeing it until later next week!?!

It never fails every single time there's no reason to say that you were going to deliver something if you don't know when it can be delivered!

This is the third time the package has disappeared coming from Richmond, BC to the island...

Yesterday I phone to inquire and complain now half the information that was posted is no longer available

Not to mention there is no delivery date now...

So tired of the companies I use always using UPS absolute rubbish

Stupid fees!

I have just received an import fee of £200 seriously? For an item worth almost that? How can you get £200 from that? What exactly do you do apart from put the parcel on a container and send it? That goes towards our greedy government you can't justify £200 tax especially for what I bought and what it's worth! USPS charge me about £60 for items worth more! Why has UPS charged me £200? This is crazy! Especially with inflation us poor people stand no chance in this world against these greedy companies and government this is not fair at all! This is bad!

I responded to an urgent request for some technologies by Ukrainian defense forces that I was able to respond to. The box weighed 27 lbs. but they billed it at 67 lbs. It was shipped to a Warsaw, Poland destination address and the shipping charge was $1,365 + $80 "service options + $217 "fuel surcharge" + $57 packing charge for a total of a whopping $1,723!
I then spent an hour on hold with customer service and never got to speak to anyone. Why do I feel like I was ripped off big time?

Slow as molasses.made order same day. Fed ex got it from Texas to Virginia today ups says it will be tomorrow from south Carolina to Virginia. Not holding my breath though. Because the item has been an hour from my home for last 48. Last time I had an item there it went to Texas and back before I received it. Week or so later.

Like magic, ur package has disappeared!

Once again UPS has screwed up a simple delivery. I watched my package go from MN to here in Dallas where it was preparing for delivery. (It should have went out for delivery) I check later in the day and it's in New Jersey! This is my wife's valentine! Funny thing is a month ago they lost my early valentine present. The company had already FedEx'ed a replacement by the time it finally arrived 2 weeks late. Moses was faster delivering the Israelites to the promise land. F**k UPS

Recently I had ups deliver a box containing irreplaceable archives. The delivery charge was $94. When the box reached its destination it was delivered as shown in the enclosed photo. When I politely contacted the ups store I told him I was not looking for compensation. I only wanted to make them aware of the horrible condition in which the package was delivered. They refused to take the complaint or even look at the photo. They simply said "damaged packages happen." Apparently that is not true with FedEx. I have received monthly shipments of wine. Each professionally handled and all without a bit of damage to the box when they arrive. Thank you FedEx!

My package arrived today and only one side was taped. The box clearly was handled in a rough manner as the stuffing was falling out. Normally I would let this go, but I ordered a delicate plate. I am very upset with the handling of UPs. They usually do a much better job. I'm sad to see this.

For months I have been attempting to complete the process for setting up an invoiced billing account. I have completed credit apps and spoken to reps over the phone for hours. Never has the process, which had been communicated completed on multiple occasions, been billed monthly as promised. Today I found out that the customer service rep had been using my personal information, not my company's, but mine, to open fraudulent account and charge hundreds to ME! I pulled shipping from UPS from my entire company, no need for these problems. Stop outsourcing customer service to areas with the highest density of hackers!

HORRENDOUS COMPANY
April 28, 2020

UPS has effectively lost entirely all of my future business. They have provided me not one, not two, but three false delivery dates. My parcel requires a signature so I must be home when it arrives otherwise it will take an additional two days as it must be returned to the sorting facility and processed... I have wasted 2 days due to their incompetence. I called yesterday and sat on hold for 45 minutes only to be told they cannot call the sorting facility and there's nothing I can do but wait but that the package was scanned and will be out for delivery today. I checked online today and my package was not listed as "out for delivery" so again, I sat on hold for an additional 50 minutes only to be told the exact. Same. Thing. At least this time I called in the morning so a third day won't be wasted. Garbage

My first time scheduling a pick up of my 6 boxes by UPS and they destroyed them in transit. Only 5 made it to its destination and they are still trying to charge me for shipping. The worst! I have left a review here and with the Better Business Bureau where their rating is 1.5. I really hope something is done, I don't see how they are still in business with such terrible customer service. Now I understand why their rating is 1.3, I will never ship with them again, save yourself a headache!

S***t company, keeps sending messages to say delivery attempted while no one ever came. Customer Service hotline is useless as they do not care. They also asked me to pay more now to make the delivery. Absolutely rubbish.

Personal effects were packaged by UPS store and shipped from Toronto to British Columbia. At time of shipping cargo insurance was purchased at the UPS store. Computer arrived damaged and damage was noted at delivery Oct/2023. Formal claim submitted on Dec 5/2023 with accompanying documentation and photos. To date all we have received is standard form letters. It seems as if no effort is being made (by UPS) to actually settle this claim. Trying to get information on the UPS site is like pulling teeth. So in addition to shipping cost and insurance we are stuck with $5,250 worth of damages to computer and monitor. To date there is no sign that UPS actually intends to settle this claim.

Incompetent
April 27, 2022

Have had three different deliveries from three different shippers not be delivered to my home but reported as delivered and left at "Other". They have no easy way to contact someone on the phone to figure out why this keeps happening, and their email support basically just replied with "Sorry, contact the shipper". No other carrier has had issues getting items to our door, just a terrible company.

Peak Inefficiency

Amazon chose to use UPS to "deliver" a package. UPS claims nobody was home, although my wife and i both were home all day and the bell was never rung (not that it should have mattered because it's an Amazon package: leave it there!). They then delivered it to a holding facility where I would be "allowed" to go pick it up myself (defeating the purpose of online shopping)! The customer service AI on their app was completely incapable of helping, and the actual customer service representative was only able to "help" in the sense that now, rather than being inconvenienced to go pick up my own package, I'll get the inconvenience of waiting three more days for something to be re-delivered that should have been delivered two days ago, for a total of five days lost due to apparent incompetence and/or laziness on the part of the driver. Would not recommend UPS to anyone if they have any other option

Amazon used them to deliver 2 dozen roses to my sister. They didn't follow basic delivery instructions. Instead of delivery to to the front desk of the stroke rehab, they gave the package to some passer-by. They got the guy's name, but staff said no one by that name worked there. I spent hours on the phone with staff and Amazon trying to get my money back or locate the flowers. UPS hung up on me, staff manning their Twitter account flat out refused to be helpful, and those manning the customer service email were flat out rude. My husband's bank, the biggest in the nation, just went with FedEx instead, because he told them how UPS staff behaved in this matter. Actions (or in this case inaction and passing the buck) have consequences. I'd definitely fire some staff who obviously don't take their jobs very seriously and have cost you business UPS! Shame on you all!

Abbysmal service

Notification about the delivery did not come. Access Point is open when I am at work 9:00 till 6 P.M. I had no choice of the access point (and I would've chosen one that is near my work). No proof of package ownership has been sent to me, or left in the mailbox, I had to guess how to receive the package. I don't think anyone came to my address to deliver the package. I don't know how can a private company be so much worse than state owned postal service but here we are.

I wish I could say that this is a first for me, but it's not. UPS drivers leave my packages in front of my door in view of the street for thieves instead of hidden on my secluded porch. Their drivers are the absolute WORST and they don't care when you contact them. I'm over it.

Today I have dealt with the Derry, NH, UPS store with a need for packing & shipping some valuable items to an "unclear" address in SC. Alex is the associate who worked with me. Without his courteous reassurance, I would have been seriously worried. He packed meticulously, gave me guidance in clarifying the address, and kindly assured me that my package would ship out@ the next pickup time. Alex is a credit to this location, and his cheerful, kind help is much appreciated. Thumbs up to UPS Derry and to Alex.

If I had a choice not to use ups to revive packaging, I would not. They have the worst delivery time and tracking. Just a bout ALL my packages delivered by ups don't show tracking, or it marks deliver but it has not. They really need to strive to keep customers happy. They really need to improve their way of things. Because this is not working. People need to care more about their jobs. My most recent package was to be delivered Wednesday. We are now Friday
