Too many times now an Uber driver has come to pick me up, discovered where I want to go, refused to take me, kicks me out of car and I still get billed five bucks from Uber. It's a fricking joke. Of course after a long series of emails Uber eventually gives me the five bucks back but continue to allow their drivers to rip people off. After all, UUber gets their cut so why take these drivers off the road.
I live in Clifton nj and needed a car for my wife at 4:30 and it said no cars are available. To take a flight! So is uber 24/7 or not. *******@aol.com I live 14 miles from Manhattan so I thought it would not be a problem.
I reserved a driver from SFO. Driver was great and was 5 star. The app was not worth ANY stars and the customer service is dismal. The destination I inputted was not inputted when the driver arrived. The app instead had the pick up and drop off at the same pick up point. When I added my destination again, it read 2 destinations plus added an extra $25 to the total bill. I had to delete the destination the Uber app had auto entered. I reached out 4 times to Uber and all responses were the same and were not responsive to the glitch issues. I'll never use Uber again. Better off car parking or car rental. Uber SUCKS!
Waited 15 minutes in total, kept saying they were 2 minutes away, then they cancelled on me 5 times, i then cancelled because I got fed up with it, and they then changed me 6 euros for me cancelling even though I had no Uber on the way, an absolute disgrace, won't be using them again
As a transportation planner the Uber business service comes in handy. The issue is that not everything is the same. Some vehicles are new and some drivers are great then some vehicles are old or drivers get lost. But this is part of the experience
Uber does not provide live customer support. Email customer support does not work. As a rider, there is no way to contact uber for anything. It's like a dark hole!

I recently was taking Uber home from downtown. I waited for the driver to arrive, looking around for him. Then he called me & told me he was here & where he was at. I didn't see that area anywhere around & it was not the address I put in for pickup. He then told me to cancel so I won't be charged & then put in for another ride. I did that, but was charged close to a $6 cancellation fee for doing so. Also, the cost of the ride I cancelled is pending & I'm waiting for it to drop off. I should not have a cancellation fee for a ride I cancelled that did not show up where I asked to be picked up at. And I also should not have that pending ride charge at all.
We never received our first order tonight, even though the restaurant said it was picked up by Uber. We ordered again from another restaurant, using Uber again, A driver called said she was at some foreign address and needed approval from Uber to bring it to the right address. She never called back, the food never came -AGAIN. Uber drivers are totally unvetted, no one even knew the name of the driver. Scary! We never did get either order.
Uber showed me the fare would be $10 but charged me $13.47 and refused to adjust my fare.
Lyft has never done such a thing. Uber has done this to me many times and has never made any

The other night driving home with Uber I was talking to my driver and we started discussing what's going on with this Coronavirus and I was saying how since all the stuff is going on Uber has jacked up their prices significantly. And he said really? We are able to see how much you guys pay and also how much we get paid per ride I said yes I am paying significantly more than I was before all this started and he said well they're not paying us anymore so not only is Uber taking advantage of this situation they're not even giving more money to they're drivers so I was right all along there just lining their pockets with the extra money like they need it or something. All of the money that I earned last week went to Uber why am I kicking myself in the $#*! just to get to work with these people? Greedy bastards taking advantage of this unfortunate situation to charge more money and they're not even helping they are drivers out.
Why do I have to pay over 30 dollars a day just to go to and from work?! It's utterly ridiculous when I only live 12 to 15 minutes away. They are robbing me blind. What's the point of working if all or at least most of my money is just lining their pockets? I'm definitely looking for uber alternatives because this is just plain wrong for them to charge so much.
I have used Uber four times now. Every time I use Uber I have had an excellent experience. The drivers are professional and the cars are nice. You get what you pay for and I will never take a taxi again. It's Uber all the way
Not only is "UBER" car service a fraud but actions that are allowed by its passengers are criminal! Recently, my friends son was jumped by passengers riding in an "UBER" vehicle. When the incident happened I couldn't believe a "reputable" car

The pay is not enough for the trips when you make delivery the app doesn't always work then you have to return the items and they only gave $5 even if you drove 20min away it's definitely not worth the stress
I have been driving for Uber for 3 weeks and haven't been paid a cent! They keep telling me 'we have resolved your problem' when they bloody well have not. The keep telling me my bank info is incorrect. I have checked it 12 bloody times. It is perfect. I have sent them screenshots of my bank into and screenshots of it entered into the Uber system. 100% match. Still, the can't pay me. They tell me to go to the local Uber office, which I do. They verify that my banking info is 100% correct. So, they suggest I go to my bank. I do that. The bank verifies that the info I have given Uber is 100% correct and everyone is scratching their heads because they can't understand why Uber can't pay me the hundreds of dollars they owe me. And, all I get from Uber is copied and pasted form responses. $#*! you, Uber.
They sent me a promotion saying if I do 140 jobs I will be paid $1,050 I did 140 jobs and they only gave me $221 they explain but the way they word their responses to where you cannot really understand but I cannot talk to anyone. So if you are a driver beware because they will not give you what they say they will give you
Uber's instructions for a ride are deficient. There is no destination bar under the pickup bar. There are no instructions how to cancel a ride. There is NO PHONE Contact info. How can you order if there is no way to insert the address of your destination. I want to cancel this whole arrangement but there is no way to do that. Do not charge my credit card. When I am able I will appear at your headquarters in Boston in person. I the meantime I will relay my experience to Cambridge MA authorities.

I would give Uber less than one star if I could. I drive for Uber and was shorted time and time again. They short drivers and overcharge passengers. They are trying to make a lot of money fast at others expense. And women drivers are not safe. Women don't last long at Uber. If they don't quit from being put in danger or because their pay is constantly short. I am starting a support group for former female drivers. If you are one, Please contact me. Uber"s software is terrible and full of bugs. Sometime you can't delete a ride. It will e fill in your home for you. Sometimes in a different city. The estimated arrival time is a joke. It told be the car would be here in 7 minutes. When I checked 15 mins later it told me the car would be here in 20 more minutes. Keying in a destination, über will enter house numbers wrong. You can not book rides in advance. The drivers complain about uber as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. WITH UBER. They are a ripoff!
