Hello, my order got delayed by 1 hour and I tried to reach customer service, only for a robot to link me with an agent who would not answer at all. For clarification, I wasn't being rude to them, as my first message read "Hello" and I waited for 10 minutes before i sent another text describing my problem. I still hadn't got any reply. I can confidently say that this is the worst customer service I've been through. If you won't reply, why do this job?
When I wanted to use Uber to check rates, I was forced to sign in (I've used them several times in the past). Then when they sent me texts to get signed in, the computer didn't recognize the password their computer had just texted me...so I couldn't access their computer to even estimate the rates. So I went to Lyft and had a great time. Ditch Uber. I don't know how they've maintained such a high rating. AND...Their rates change by the minute. I was at the airport needing a ride home. Their site told me it was a $54 charge for a $15 ride. Not acceptable. And no number to call to straighten it out.
After my credit card info was stolen and charged via Uber, fortunately the amount was refunded. But my nightmare didnt stop there. Soon I found my Uber account was inaccessible and they replied that I need to email them the scanned copies of my government ID and credit card. I told them that would expose me to bigger risk and willing to meet their local employee if necessary. They sent me this "I've reviewed your account. It appears that your account has been suspended for activity that violates our Terms and Conditions and will be unavailable for you to use until further notice. We will let you know if we will consider lifting the suspension." Do I smell some sabotage there? I violated T&C because I am trying to protect myself not sending my credit card?
On April 20th I requested a package pickup for 2 package for $23.36 the driver only picked up one. I reached out to her she blocked me. I reached out to the customer service rep on here named Tan He said I would be refunded for the trip since she didn't pick up both packages I requested for. I didn't receive the refund so I reached out to my bank and the fare was returned now I have $23.36 "unpaid" amount on my app. I have been contacting Uber for weeks to have this charge removed and everytime I get in contact with one stupid rep that doesn't understand what I'm saying I get the run around. I wish I could report Tan who was so rude and ended the chat on me as I was stating I need a refund. I literally hate Uber. It's so frustrating and annoying. I want this resolved I'm so tired of contacting them
Uber driver has let the meter on even after the ride was completed. I lost my money because of this. He rode a good 2hrs on the road. Wrote to the customer support multiple times but no one seems to care as soon as I explained my situation. They didn't even bother to reply.
I thought this was very practical until my card was fraudulently charged twice tonight and I discovered how ridiculously difficult it is to do anything about it! I saw the ride come up and cancelled the first one, but I got charged anyway because it was cancelled at the last minute - to the tune of £17! I emailed UBER support right away but they are not available during the late night, it seems. I have changed my password and sent another email asking to delete my account but am afraid I will get charged again despite it all. Why is it not possible to take the credit card off the site? I don't want to go through the hassle of cancelling my card when it's just an UBER problem. If the site just offered that option I wouldn't be deleting my account. But now I'm totally turned off UBER and will stop using them asap.
1) Uber unlawfully charged me $70.83 without my authorization. I have not used Uber on that particular day. I only authorized few cents for verification, but Uber used that authorization for unlawfully charged me over $70.
2) After making reservation, I canceled within 3 hours and 4 days before Uber ride reservation. Uber charged me on my credit card.

I was told to downloaded the app to receive a $20 dollar coupon, which i did. I ordered a ride and before getting in the car i made sure to double check with the driver that i was not going to be charged a single thing (my destination was only 5 miles away). Everything went well until the day after i noticed that they had charged me money. The coupon i had was applied but they had also charged me with an extra surge fee that i never approved of! They do not have a customer phone number so i had to email them. They never helped me with my problem. I DO NOT recommend this company at all!
There is no recourse say your in a city and get the address wrong,an Uber driver will leave you on the side of the highway,and you will have to call another Uber, rain or shine. That's been my experience twice. Traveling with Uber, there was a repeat of addresses in same city, but considering I know nothing about this, and I was taken to the place, upon realizing it not the place of destination. My granddaughter and I ordered an uber from santa monica beach pier. Three drivers cancelled and I was charged for the third one with them stating that the driver waited over 2 minutes for me. I was at the pickup point long before I ever contacted this driver. He evidently left and charged me with a cancellation fee and I followed the rules. In Salt Lake City my destination was changed after I entered uber car. I confirmed with uber driver my requested destination at my pickup location. Then again when he passed the street I going to. He took me to the location on app that I had not requested. I jumped out of the car fearing for my life. Do not drive off with any car service without seeing your requested destination on their app.
Uber was absolutely horrible, I stepped outside of the vehicle for a moment and the car took off with my backpack. My backpack contained my keys, wallet, and everything else i had. This is the worst taxi service that i have ever received, I would not advise using this service.
