Paid for 3 heat packs and hydro. It is winter. She came with 1 heat pack frozen solid. She was barely alive! Tried to nurse back to health and died. 5 messages and 3 emails asking for refund with no response. Unacceptable! Also nothing on box saying live animal. UPS left without signature. Needs negative stars! Had to put 1.
I ordered 3 baby turtles. They took almost 3 days to get to me once shipped even though I paid for overnight shipping. They did not label the box with UPS as live animals. They told me to keep the dead turtles and do not dispose of, then after 3 days wanted me to take the turtles out of the container and take more pics of them on a piece of paper with my name and order number. I refused to remove the smelly animals and stomach doing that so they refused to give me my money back. They also have a phone number listed on their site and email. If you call is a life insurance scam. *******186.
This company sent a dead turtle I did exactly what they wanted word from word and still nothing. They ripped me off for 120 dollars. It's a scam and doesn't matter if a few people got alive animals it's just not right!
My turtle arrived dead. When I asked for my money back they replied and said send a picture, which I did. They then blocked me from their website. I had to escalate in paypal. Still awaiting resolution.
We bought our two turtles (Baby Cumberland Slider and Yellow-Bellied Slider Turtle) Tuesday. They arrived in 3 days which was pretty quick! They were in great condition and nice box packaging. They even gave us two free food samples for the turtles!
I bought a turtle, it arrived with both legs deformed, a huge lump in neck and cracked shell. We ended up realizing the turtle was blind and would not swim, it would just float in the water. Tried to contact customer service for month now, no response.
I paid for express delivery. It took them 3 days to receive my turtles. When they showed up they were both dead. I emailed the company and show them the turtles and they have yet to respond to me. This was 2 weeks ago. Maybe three
Overnight delivery took almost 3 days, baby turtle was dead in container on arrival. Box was poorly labeled. I started the return process on their website and never got a response.

Picture my son waiting for the arrival of his new pet and seeing it lifeless in the container, thinking we're just trying to revive it but I knew it was dead. It had begun to smell already. They tell you it's just hibernating so we kept the dead turtle on the counter for hour checking and rechecking it. My son was devastated.
They mailed me out Dead Turtles. They were in a container filled with cotton, no air holes what so ever. They sent food in a separate container. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. They are a scam and will send you dead turtles. My poor grandkids opened up dead turtles. Had to have a funeral for them right away. BAD BUSINESS. No way of knowing if they were even alive when they mailed them out. I speng over 70 for two dead turtles. They hold no accountability. Saying no refunds or returns. Of course not, who wants a dead turtle back. Bad Bad business
I purchased two hatchling. One arrived fine and the other was a little lethargic and ended up passing away after 4 days. They have a 7 day health guarantee. I reached out and started the return process, it was easy. I submitted photos and it was approved and i received a store credit within hours. Since I bought one male and one female I didn't know which I still had so I emailed them and they responded quickly and let me know what I had so I knew what sex to reorder. Good customer service!
The experience just gets worst just when you think it can't be any worse. I place my order on a Sunday ( Saturday night after midnight) expecting the delivery to be sent on Monday and should arrive on Tuesday. Sunday noon I had change of heart and decided to change the musk to a painted turtle. So send a message through the website and an email to enforce before they send it out. No response so messaged again. Tried the next morning still no response. So I think this is terrible then I excepted the fact that they aren't responding so I'll get what I ordered at first. Once I got the delivery (Tuesday), I was shocked to see how dead and dried the turtle was. I own another turtle that I grew from hatchling and I know for a fact that the turtle was dead when they packed it. Tried to reach out to them, no luck :(
I did everything right but read the reviews before purchasing. My son's baby turtle arrived dead and I'm not even surprised after seeing the packaging. They smothered the poor thing with so much tissue inside of the plastic, sealed container that it didn't have a chance. Now I can't get through to anyone on the phone or by email. It's the biggest scam and it's an inhumane business.
It has been 3 years now since I was gifted my turtle Leo from my grandma for making excellent grades in school. My eastern musk turtle arrived quickly and safely but it is nessesary for you the buyer to take these steps I am about to list, instead of just ordering without a care. Firstly, you need to access where your shipping location is, myturtlestore is based in FL, which is something I for one looked up and would assume you should have too but based on the reviews I guarantee you that the people who ordered were farther than a few states, or more from Florida leading to major shipping issues that could cause the turtles death. Second and lastly, do not skip out on the accessories used to ship the turtles buy all of them! My only con with my turtle story is that they were shipped in what seemed like animal bedding, such as for a rabbit, which I also own. I would 100% recommend my turtle store only if you follow these guidelines, please do not order from here if you are not in the southern side of the United States close to Florida (I'm in GA so no issues). I received 3 turtles by UPS. They arrived quickly and were in excellent health. The price has dropped a bit for some reason and this breed is much more reasonably priced. I recommend this business.
My Easter common musk, tink came in today early at that is alive and well and just wanted to go towards the pond... These guys are awesome fast shipping and they care. Decent prices as well named tink because tiny+tank=tink
Won't answer the phone, won't return emails, I've been trying to get in touch with anyone to an update on my order status and can't get anyone to even return reply. At this point I don't know what to do, money was transacted but as of now the product has not shipped. Beyond frustrated!
I received my order in 6 days paying still paying the $40+ for next day shipment one of my turtles came extremely sick would not even move I had to keep monitoring the little guy it's sad how a company with a following can do suck a think to such a beautiful animals what a shame and what a horrible experience this company is a scam and only in it for the money they mass produce sick and unhealthy animals and lie about where they keep them these animals are being mistreated and not getting the proper care please someone stop this company this is such a sick place I feel bad for the animals that have to live there on a daily basis
I have ordered several times from here. The turtles always arrive on time and healthy. They are always packed well to avoid stress on them and a ample supply of food was enclosed with them.
I ordered from them and the turtle died within 7 days they only gave me stupid store credit $#*!ing bull$#*! like they thinking I'm gonna order from them again I want my money back
I ordered a baby musk for my daughter and it was barely alive when it arrived. I did everything that I was suppose to as advised on their website and needless to say that the baby did not survive. I have sent countless emails and no response whatsoever. I purchase fish and aquatic animals online all of the time and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Do no or make the same mistake I did and find someone who actually cares about their customers and their turtles.
