Company allows fraudulent reviews to be posted under false identities and doesn't request any proof of visiting an establishment from the user (like sitejabber and trust pilot do - funny that?!). They instead request business owners to provide proof that the review is fake. In ordinary circumstances this would be impossible, but in this instance I was able to provide a crime reference number to prove that the particular individual was under investigation for stalking, harassment and common assault against me. Key things they were under investigation for, they had mentioned in their review which proved who it was written by. Despite this, Tripadvisor who works solely on corruption has chosen to leave the defamatory review up, and instead provide me with a postal address in the USA (when I'm in the UK) to appeal.

Additionally, they have no complaints department or process and multiple emails have been ignored by their incompetent CEO who's probably busy relaxing on Epsteins island.

Disgusting - avoid.

I will probably be sorry I reviewed Star Bistro, on Jalan Tamblingan, in Sanur, Bali, but i will anyway because it is so outrageously good.

For over a year have been frequenting this excellent restaurant and have never been let down by any of the many dishes I have tried. The quality and quantity of the entrees, usually served with steamed vegetables and sauteed potatoes, is always creative and delicious.

I highly recommend the Chicken in a rich cheese pasta sauce, roast chicken, fish and chips, or various English style pies, especially the steak and kidney pie.

Star has what I believe is the best cappuccino to be found anywhere in the world. It rivals the finest coffee to be found in Italy. Delicious with a mound of finely frothed cream standing about 1" above the rim of the cup.

I cannot over recommend this restaurant... and am probably sorry I did now that my favorite table, street side will now be harder to get... Oh well... they do take reservations!

In fact, they illegally get my personal data, and then simply blocked my account with active Tours without any explanation and without any reason! This is absolutely illegitimately!

They have terrible Supplier Support. Every day, new person from Supplier Support sends me a new phony BS flavor e-mail. They lie. They ignore direct questions. They change their minds all the time.

A company like Tripadvisor cannot so easily disown a partner and allow partners to create these type of financial issues. Tripadvisor has a responsibility to ensure that each partner is financially stable, especially when it's an international company.

Therefore, keep in mind. If you buy any tours on Tripadvisor or receive money for your services, then Tripadvisor can unilaterally block your account for no reason. You can simply lose money or personal information, while being in a foreign country, and you will not receive any intelligible actions from Tripadvisor Team. The Tripadvisor policy is similar to the virtual private crib policy. Fake reviews, winded ratings, terrible Supplier Support - everything is done from a position of self-profit.

It's heaven sent! I really love it. I cannot go anywhere on this planet without checking its reviews on Trip Advisor first. So far, none of the ratings has proven to be a disappointment, HAPPY

Special thanks to Alfred Ayoub, Benjamin Bruckert, Food and beverage Services Manager, Caroline Cote, Event Manager, Lindsey, Manuela, and The Chef who was very exceptional to put together a menu tailored to our needs.
Everyone went above and beyond to help us. We received wonderful feedback from family and friends on how lovely the room was arranged, the view and most importantly how the great was the food. The services was impeccable. We have and will continue to recommend Ottawa Marriott Hotel to everyone."

Talking about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, it's" THE BEST ONE "
Close to everything like the Harbour, museum, shopping center, our apartment was overlooking the Sydney tower, very cozy, clean and spacious, kitchen had a big fridge, stove, complete with pots and pans, plates and silverware, most of all personnel are friendly and accommodating. We have a pleasant stay and we'll highly recommend to our friends that plans to visit Sydney, Australia.

I started using tripadvisor seriously when I was planning for a trip to Italy and I found it absolutely invaluable! Because of the advise and reviews from other fellow travellers, I was able to find out how the weather would be like, what to wear, where to be careful of pickpockets and even the brands of handbags to get that has safety latches etc! The site also saved me a lot of money because it has 'vacation rentals' category listed on the side. So you don't have to stay in expensive hotels. We ended up renting from two different landlords at different cities and saving a lot of money not just in the accomodation, (because we were able to rent good but cheap apartments), we saved money by doing our own cooking, saved luggage space because we have washer and dryer in the apartment (no need to bring too many clothes) etc. Best of all, we got to live like real locals because the apartments were not in a very touristy area. Of course there are also apartments for people who would like to stay right in the middle of tourist central, but the beauty of the site is such that you have all the choices before you and enough reviews to help you make an informed decision.

Also, in their travel blog section, you get to learn about lesser known places that are not in travel guides. Like for instance we found out that if you email a certain office in Vatican City, you can book a tour to see the tomb of St. Peters right under the Basilica!

I will be sticking to TripAdvisor for all my travel planning from now on!

I made a booking, I thought through "Trip advisor" to find it was booked through https://www.cancelon.com. What I thought was the rate and booking I set up with Trip Advisor was 2 rooms with 2 adults each. The confirmation from CancelOn showed 2 rooms 2 adults. When I immediately called CancelOn for clairification I was told 1 adults only per room. To add two more adults to the reservation resulted in close to doubling the cost advertized with Trip Advisor, To cancel at that time would result in a $220.00 fee. Absolutely ridiculous, After some discussion with the nice representive and his discussion with his supervisor, the fee was reduced to $110. This is still too much for a 15 minute transaction that was deceiving from the beginning. I would advise people to avoid offers from Trip Advisor and do not allow CancelOn to make the bookings.
