I had purchased a flight ticket from SOC TO IXM last month, this 20 oct they mailed your flight is cancelled and without my knowledge they proceed they cancelled my complete journey. Not only that they looted my money. They used fake mobile /HP number *******245 and *******031 ( scam numbers used by a member in trip.com) and looted my money to their account. Purposefully I was cheated by this biggest scammers. If anyone want more proof I will attach. Don't trust trip.com

I have always been skeptical in using third party websites but Trip.com has proven to not only work well but has done so over and above. A reasonably cheaper price compared to what I would have paid by direct book.

I planned to go to a RV show in Chengdu and wanted a hotel with an indoor swimming pool close to the RV show. Through Trip.com, I got the plane ticket from Guangzhou to Chengdu, but couldn't get the hotel room I wanted, but I found the same hotel room available in Expedia that Trip.com had but wasn't available!

The booking was seemless although the Flair ground attendant assisting during boarding required me to repeat the measuring process which was unpleasant and I feel a bit discriminated because my bag already measured and tagged but she single me out of the rest of other passengers but it is beyond control of Trip.com

I just wanted to say by how flabbergasted I am with the experience that Peter gave me with using Trip.com I just want to say that he made me feel like that. I was a prioritized VIP customer when this was my actual first time using them he provides such a perfect service and made me feel very happy with my concern that nobody else was able to solve. I went through dozens of customer support agents, and no one was able to help. All they kept doing was saying they were going to contact the hotel and actually never contacted them. Unlike Peter. He actually went out of his Way and made things right and found out what would have made me happy and I told him since I couldn't get it canceled to make it for another day and he called the hotel and made it happen and I just wanna say that this guy is a star and he really is the definition of professional and this guy should be given a upgrade of a promotion of a job because of how professional and the way he handles things I just wanna say I'm very grateful that I have transferred from Priceline to Trip.com and was able to to get provided with this type of customer service on my first experience with an issue

Easy website to navigate with hotel and airline prices comparable or better than other travel sites. Excellent selection of accommodations some of which are not listed on other sites. Save money by booking packages- airline and accommodations. Itinerary sent immediately after booking. Overall a straight forward and stress free booking experience.

I tried to reduce the number of rooms in my booking within the free cancellation period but the system is not capable of recognising this. The same for the telephone number I called for which I spoke to a robot. I finally reached a customer support manager (jasmine) who was helpful. It would be good if you have number with a real person to talk to. I had to search the web and finally found an admin number and she got customer service to call me. I felt I was stuck and unable to do a simple task which should not be the case. I think you can improve your booking system.

The software doesn't work well. Always have to input again. For example, when you enter a date for arrival date box, it may pop up in departure box. Sometimes it doesn't do anything at all when you click search. Chat box: In one occasion, a page popped up containing a list of my reservations. You can't close it. There are many others!

CTRIP makes it easy for me to but train tickets and plane tickets in Asia (from my home in USA). Only way they could do better is to provide check-in for airline and send me the boarding pass 24 hours ahead instead of me having to wait until I get to airport.

Since I'm booking a trip for umrah in saudi, it turned out that on this airline i would need a "umrah permit" otherwise I will need to pay a penalty of up to 20k.
This was never mentioned anywhere while booking the trip, while if i booked on saudi airlines website, it would have been clearly stated.

Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.
