Update on 11-02-2024 - I was very skeptical about proceeding, but I got a very good price using TravelUp. In fact, it was 47% LESS than if I had dealt direct with the property. And the hotel had no problem confirming that I had a valid reservation when I checked.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the cancellation fee, and we sincerely empathise with your situation.

Upon reviewing your booking, we can confirm that when you reached out to us for cancellation, the reservation had already been confirmed, and as per the supplier's policies, we are required to charge both a cancellation fee and an administrative fee. We understand that other sites may offer free cancellations, but please note that cancellation policies are set by the suppliers, and unfortunately, we are bound by those rules in order to process the cancellation.

We did issue your refund promptly after the cancellation was processed, and we apologize for any confusion or frustration this process may have caused.

Scammed €267

Scammed €267. Booked a room through Travel Up via trip advisor (view deals tab) received invoice from travel up saying room booked and payed for. Arrived at hotel for them to say they have not received booking and that they dont really recognise that provider. Even tho it was through the trip advisor app. Have photos of booking through the trip advisor system, you get brought to travel up site and confirm the dates, system glitched when putting through payment and they sent me an invoice with dates a year later. Now trying to say I can't get a refund a year in advanced… Was committed to staying as I had travelled up so had to pay an additional €405 to stay the night. Ended up paying €672 instead of €267…. Stay away! Be careful and avoid!

We were unable to check into the hotel during the purchased stay. The hotel showed no reservation under my name and had no third party reservations for us either.

Additionally, any attempts to call TravelUp at any numbers listed on the websites or reservation documents were met with an automated response to "Try again later at our convenience" and then hung up on automatically. We ended up having to book another hotel because we had nowhere to stay and received no immediate support from TravelUp.

I had to click on an additional link to see all the options. Original price quoted is for one queen or king size beds. The two queen bed room was slightly higher but still better price than booking directly with the hotel. Make sure you read the policy as it is non refundable.

Not user friendly or mobile optimized. It was fast & secure. However, as some offers were mobile exclusive, I found it somewhat conflicting given the fact that the site was not fully optimized to be browsed through via smartphone. Horrible, you stole my money for a hotel, and it wasn't reserved, so me and my youngest son have nowhere to go for the hurricane, in a moment of emergency like the one we are going through, there was no reservation in the hotel I booked, it's a scam because they will take your money and not reserve, when I called to confirm the reservation with the hotel absolutely nothing showed up don't use this website

The room was adequate. The hotel parking lot was full so I had to find parking in a nearby lot on a rainy night. I was also informed of an additional $100 deposit and $25 urban entertainment fee which I did not see on any site.
