The total amount of USD 19,506.77 for the Presidential Suite was shown throughout the booking process, including on the final confirmation page before payment was completed. - This is incorrect, I made screenshots on my phone, it doesn't say US dollars anywhere. From your message, I understand you believed the price was in Jamaican Dollars. While we genuinely sympathize with the misunderstanding, I do want to gently point out that a rate equivalent to around USD 118 for a full week in a Presidential Suite at a luxury hotel would not typically be a realistic or standard price. It doesn't matter, I am sincerely asking to please have some compassion and credit my account in FULL as I thought the money was Jamaican dollars. This booking is non-refundable, and the cancellation policy takes effect as soon as the reservation is confirmed. The terms are set by our supplier and the hotel, so we're unable to alter them directly. - It still doesn't matter, I had no way to stop the request on my side, If I could I would off. My hands were too fast. I also had to go to my credit card account to see what you charged me. I reached out right after. If you no longer plan to travel or use the reservation, we'd be happy to contact the supplier and hotel to request a waiver given the circumstances. However, I want to be transparent that a refund is not guaranteed, and the hotel may choose to enforce the full charge in line with the original cancellation policy. - I do not want any reservation, I just need my funds credited back in full please ( not partial but the full amount) Could you please confirm the name and contact number of the person you spoke with at Moon Palace Jamaica? - 6-23 I called the Moon Palace Hotel concierge, I didn't write down there names they confirmed twice that there is no booking under Sharon Marks / phone # or Booking id 6-24 - I called twice this am to the Moon Palace in Ochos Rios Jamaica, 1st time was at 8.05 am Moneicia said to call back at 9 am to speak to the manager, I then called back at 9.02 The hotel answered, I explained the situation again to them and then he transferred me to their reservation dept, Like I said they also confirmed that there is NO booking by name or dates / Ref # ** If there is no booking confirmed, why is Travelup being difficult and coming up with all these excuses about refunding me in full, If the tables were turned you will not like how it feels.
