I booked a hotel in Dominique for one night through TripAdvisor. I read through all of the disclosed statements and agreed to terms concerning use of data and sharing. After booking, I was notified about extra fees that would be charged $100 for each of the 4 adults. I immediately tried to cancel reservations and was told that the $400 in additional fees would still be charged. I was told to call and ask for a manager but was never put through, after staying on the line and no one answering. I said that I wanted a full refund as these extra charges were never disclosed before booking. The agent argued that everything was explained on the website, but this was not available to me when booking the hotel through TripAdvisor. I was told that all they could do was offer $200 discount. I said that I would agree to the $200 being taken off the hotel fee but would not agree to pay any extras. I received no reply after that so I am out over $300, thus resorting to canceling my card. My bank was notified of these fraudulent charges and is disputing these charges.
Your rating with the BBB is VERY POOR. Your not a accredited business with them. Your rating are absolutely horrible! Refused to return deposit. I travel for a living, with many others and this will be the last and final time I book and or tell ANYONE about your site. Also co tasting the BBB for ANOTHER complaint about your company

TravelUp failed to pay the hotel I booked through their website. The hotel manager and I attempted to contact the company and never got through to anyone. The hotel had no choice but to also charge me for my stay since they never received funds from this company. My credit card remains charged by both TravelUp and the hotel. There is NO HUMAN to speak to via their customer service line. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! THEY CHARGE YOU AND DON'T PAY HOTEL. I WILL NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE AGAIN. THEY ARE NOT BASED IN USA and the hotel had never heard of them. FRAUDS!

I booked flight tickets to Istanbul in March 2020 and due to COVID the flights were cancelled.
Initially Travelup were good at sending communications out to clients and asked for patience due to high volumes of calls/emails etc. They also stated they were contacting everyone who had bookings (by travel date) and NOT to contact them if the travel date was between 18th March to 31st May, which my tickets were.
In May, they asked people to sign an online form to claim a voucher/refund for their bookings, which I did straight away. I even took it upon myself to reach out to the Airline themselves who confirmed to me the refund actually had already been paid back to the travel agent.
Since filling out that form, I have not received my refund and also have not heard anything from Travelup whatsoever. Checking my emails, I can see they went 'quiet' ever since August 2020, and stopped sending communications out to clients. Also, checking the online form again, I cannot even check the 'live status' of my refund.
This is totally unacceptable from a company who state that our funds 'are safe with them'. Avoid at all costs!

I had been viewing the particular hotel I wanted for quite some time. I was pleasantly surprised to view the price that TravelUp was offering and booked immediately.
The Web page picked up the wrong dates and when I tried to change them (within 5 minutes) I got absolutely nowhere. I tried to contact the customer service folks who told me the re were no other rooms available (I looked and there were several) and then told me I had to pay $122 more to change the dates. HORRIBLE service, I will NEVER USE YOU SERVICE AGAIN>

We arrived hotel for late check in. Our reservation was ready as expected. Got our room within mins! Fees were included with our booking, so only a pre-authorization for room charges at check in.
We booked flights to Berlin last November via SkyScanner to TravelUp - NEVER AGAIN! After British Airways cancelled the flights, TravelUp did as much as they could to avoid giving me a refund, claiming that they would only refund when British Airways refunded them. After speaking to BA they explained they refunded agents very quickly after cancelling flights, within a week normally not the months I'd been waiting.
I had to resort to a chargeback with my credit card, but even then I had to deduct the "reasonable admin" fee of £50 from a £160 flight for the refund as per TravelUp's terms and conditions.
If there is any upside to Coronavirus, it will be TravelUp going out of business, as I certainly will never use them again, and would recommend no one else does either.
The cost for the airlines was great. What airline I would be on was not transparent. I am flying on United, not Lufthansa. That was a real bait and switch. So sorry I used this site.

Once I purchased and my card was processed- I can no longer log in to look at my reservation. I have tried MULTIPLE times to log back in using the booking reference and my surname and I am worried that I spent all that money and it was all for naught.

The reservation was made for the wrong date although there were many attempts to correct it, I was not allowed and your system kept on making the same reservation date.

I called, wrote and emailed, yet I can't get confirmation that this was cancelled. Your phone is always busy and the website doesn't seem to work. I want this cancelled!
Is there a reason why you don't send an email with all the reservation details? Why is it that you only have a download and print option? Are you assuming that everyone owns a printer?
