It was a mistake when I use you, I thought I was on booking.com, having said that my booking was flawlessly booked, the only thing I need is a confirmation to my email to become completely satisfied
This will be the 3rd time booking with travel up. I was due to fly from South Africa to London on the 2nd May 2023.
I was however in a serious bicycle accident and had to go for emergency knee surgery and developed a bloodclot during surgery that left me unable to fly for 6 weeks due to very high risk factors and in a wheelchair. I presented Travel Up with medical certificate and asked if they could offer me alternative dates or cancellation.
My Swiss Air flight through Travel Up was £503, and I cannot cancel my flight. The cheapest alternative date for the rest of the year is an additional £685 to move the flight.
I have ask for any other date with a reasonable upgrade but has not received any joy. Pay an additional £685 or lose the flight.
This company will never have my vote, but they probably won't care.
Probably the poorest company I ever worked with, no sympathy to a situation that is completely out of a customer's hands.
The CEO and his team has very little integrity and although successful, no understanding for circumstance that is not in your hands.

I never got a confirmation email and I called the hotel and they said they don't have my reservation. I'm about to dispute it on my card if I don't find confirmation by tomorrow.

I arrived in the hotel after a 16 hour flight and they didn't know of my reservation. They made me wait because they couldn't see the confirmation on the system. It was distressing and exhausting.

Still waiting for refund for holiday that got cancelled in June due to COVID, just found out they have taken the money again. We are now taking preceding against them for fraud.
Other hotel booking sites should no vacancy for the hotel I wanted. TravelUp showed rooms available & the reservation process was easy.
Only issue was I had no choice of rooms.

Fast and easy. Everything was straightforward and I was able to book my hotel in only a few minutes. I received a confirmation email promptly. Everything looks good.
Good rate but didn't like that the rate did not include the unavoidable resort fee, so it is difficult to compare the rate with other sources. But maybe that is travel up's objective.

This is the worst company ever. Tried to get a refund over 2 months and no response. The description of the hotel I got didn't matched with the hotel I booked.

Booked a hotel for a stay in London 6 months ago, and was looking forward to our family trip to London. I decided to call the hotel the day before my stay to advise them that i would be a late check in and they advised me that the hotel was closed. I have had no notification from Travelup and when I rang to complain they were completely unaware! They then booked another hotel for me, which I rang on the morning of my travel to confirm and advise again of the late check in and they told me that the hotel had not been booked. I then had to make a dozen phone calls whilst travelling up to London on the train and was promised phone calls back, they never phoned me back and had to do all the chasing. If i had not phoned the hotel to advise of my late check in I would never had known that the hotel was closed and would have arrived to a closed hotel in London with my children at 11pm at night, and been stranded with no where to stay. This ruined my whole weekend that had been planned for months. When I complained and asked to be compensated they were not interested and will do nothing! I would not recommend them to my worst enemy! Appalling customer service and would never use them again!

This hotel is fabulous. Biggest room in New York City I ever had. Staff is personable and pleasant and very accommodating. The service is high end and it reminds me of high end European service.
Avoid travelup! They are professional scammers. What happened to us was just unbelievable. We booked a New Years reservation at travelup and it was a hotel that we have been to many times in the past. We spoke to Samantha from travelup who we confirmed that we had the rooms multiple times despite the fact that wheh we emailed the hotel they told us to beware as they have been sold out for months. Everytime called Samantha she confirmed that all is good confirmed and the rooms can only be guaranteed the week before and its a long ways out still. They will confirm with us a week before. Thankfully I somehow felt something was up and started to liaise directly with the hotel. After much back-and-forth Samantha finally confirmed that there was in fact no room available. They even went as far as lying that the reason is its an adults only resort and they rejected our reservation bc we booked with a child. We know the resort very well having spent 3 New Years there so not only do we know it was a flat out lie but the room rate actually stated it was for family. At this point we had already purchased $5000 worth of tickets. The best part of this was when they offered to replace our $3000 a night hotel room with a $300 a night budget room saying that it was an upgrade from our villas. It was so insulting that I didnt even know how to react to that. I would suggest staying away from them. They obviously refused to refund my tickets and we have taken legal action against them. Its not about the money but these people should not be allowed to operate.
Resort fees was not included in the price and added only at the end in my billing, i am not satisfied, i hate when i do not have final price before completing my reservation.
