At TravelUp, it’s our commitment to be as transparent as possible with our customers. We work with an independent partner, Airlineratings.com to keep track of the service and safety levels of all the airlines we work with. Not only does this keep us up to date with the latest information, it can also help you make an informed choice when choosing who to fly with.
We take issues seriously and do our best to resolve them as soon as possible and in a way that will benefit all involved.
The company demonstrates a mixed reputation, with notable strengths in the ease of the booking process and competitive pricing, which many customers found straightforward and efficient. However, significant concerns arise around customer service, particularly regarding unresponsive support, issues with reservation confirmations, and difficulties in modifying bookings. Instances of billing discrepancies and perceived bait-and-switch tactics have contributed to a growing sentiment of frustration among users. While some customers report positive interactions with staff, the overall trend indicates a need for improved communication and reliability to enhance customer trust and satisfaction.

Fine no problems with the booking so far. We'll see how the voucher works at the hotel in September.
Quick, easy booking for resort I wanted. Found on trivago, no complaints.
Everything went fine during the booking except that my credit card got declined several times and I had to use a different card.
This is my second year using TravelUp. Both years they have been the best rates and easy quick online process to book my reservations. I would and have recommended them.
Easy to follow instructions. The booking process was fast and easy..
I saw a deal, booked a night hotel for Aug2, in Baltimore.
When confirmation came, it had a totally different date, than what I booked It said nonrefundable, not fair, every booking site lets you have 24hour grace period I did not want the date that they confirmed I tried to email travelup right away Did not get reply for a long time I called the hotel and they informed me I had no reservation.they did not see my name, Red flag? How can I have been so trusting?
I never had heard of that company, but thought it was part of Trivago.
They took my money, for nothing, it's a scam, and I will call my bank to get the money back I don't have any reservation, I got emailed they'd try to accommodate me, but I don't trust travelup.
All I want is my money back off my credit card bill.
Why should I be paying something I did not receive?!
Everything in the process was easy at a good rate for the hotel.
I accidentally booked it twice and your company caught it and emailed me immediately to confirm if that was correct when I explained it was an error. He was right on top of it and refunded me my money. I am so grateful for this fine thank you
Its not good at all. Imagine am flying today. The experience looks like as if have been defrauded my unknown people, nobody has an answer for my enquiry and complaint on my booking.
Booking was very easy and fast. Our trip is not until 8/21. We are so excited to be part of jeep week in Gatlinburg this year. Travel up was the best price for the hotel Stay tuned I will send pictures and let you know how the check in, check out-process goes
Easy, Good Value, had the specific hotel that I wanted. Hopefully good support going forward
The original experience with the booking was fine, however, every other day since then has been stressful. I can't tell you how many times this has happened. Pretty much daily I've received a message saying the hotel I reserved does not have any availability and I have to changed my hotel and be moved to the Comfort Inn. After the first couple of times I got freaked out and called the Hyatt Moab. They said that they do have a reservation for me and they don't know why you continuously doing this. No one knows why you are doing this!
Quick and easy online experience, no hidden fees, had rooms in the hotel I wanted.
Stated I was paying for reservations in full. When checking in, I still had been charged extra 60 dollars. It was a bit misleading in my opinion.
Disgusting lies about cancellation When I book this hotel through you all extended I could cancel by 7:23 2025
When I arrived at a hotel with a prepaid reservation that I made thru Travel Up the hotel said they no longer use any other service but their own and they do not accept Travel Up offer that I paid for. I had to pay for my room again out-of-pocket at a higher rate on site because they denied the reservation that I made thru travel up I asked them why do they allow Comfort Inn to advertise on their site if they do not accept travel up?
It rook several attempts for the site to accept payments, each attempt taking over 45 minutes, yes 45 Minutes.
Tried to cancel one room 1 hour after confirmation. Tried the assistance tab on the website. Requested pin code sent by email; another at least 3 attempts and the browser cycles back requesting a pin again. Spent a good part of the morning. Finally sent an email to admin to request cancellation, paid a hefty cancellation fee.
Never to use again. Trivago offers FREE cancellation withing 48 hours.
Booked the same hotel for the 31st July through Trivago>Priceline in 5 minutes.
You put room 2 in as a standard 2queen bed but charged me an extra 50 per night, it was supposed to be a King Bed Premium with a sofa sleeper!'
I made a reservation yesterday and immediately following y completion of the process I realized that I had entered the wrong departure date (two days later than my actual departure). I was told I needed to speak to a customer service rep but after being on hold for 20 minutes I was told there was nothing they could do other than ask to make an exception. I never heard back. If days had passed after my booking I could understand that the policy needed to be adhered to but this was literally minutes. My booking number is HTT-Q3XMNV_9 in case you are able to help. I want to depart on 8/2/25 as opposed to 8/4/25
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
Answer: Good morning, we can see that one of the team has responded to your email this morning and sent over a payment link for your balance. Kind Regards, TravelUp Team
Answer: Good afternoon, Yes we are a legitimate site. If you have any questions please do let us know! Kind Regards, Travelup Team
