What a frigging scam! They overcharge on postage terribly, like no other selling site on internet, even if you print your own label, it takes almost a month to get paid and during that time, the buyer can wear your item and then make up some bull crap story and return it and get their money back! I sold a mens suede brand new jacket to some cheapskate a few weeks ago for dirt cheap, described it perfectly and sent it to the idiot. He/she has had it for 2 weeks and I get a notice today telling me they have approved the return on coat for the reason of unauthorized category MENS COATS, and theres tons of mens coats for sale on there right this very minute! Well little do they know this aint my first rodeo and I have timestamped photos of when I sold and packed up the coat with all the tags intact on it on video! So these lowlife slime balls better be ready for a fight if the tags are not still attached! They are no better than any of the other scandalous selling sites out there like poshmark, mercari, let go, etc, etc! Id rather just stay on eBay, even though it expensive, you have a wider audience and they usually have your back, not some scamming pos buyer! Do not bother buying anything from tradsey let alone sell. They rip buyers off terribly anyway they can. I informed a lady, after I sold that coat, that the hat she purchased off me, I was only going to make 4.00 off, and that they were overcharging her for postage and the item. I think thats why all this is happening all of a sudden. What a crock of $#*!e!

Someone bought my Christian Louboutin Shoes... had them for a day and returned them. Not only were they scuffed but they were sent back WITHOUT The receipt from the original purchase to prove what I paid...
How can I sell them again without the receipt and the scratches on the bottom of the brand new shoes? DONT USE TRADESY EVER. Someone can "buy" your item and then return it to you not in the condition it was sent in. Unacceptable.

Stopped selling on Tradesy after they 1. Began to hold my funds after a sale & after buyer accepted purchase for 21 days.
2. Began to charge an additional percentage to transfer your own money to your account on top of their selling fee.
3. It takes nearly 1 month to receive your funds after a sale.
4. They began to charge buyers a minimum of almost $11 for shipping.
I've complained about these practices because I do not appreciate having to wait nearly a month for my funds to be made available & then charged an extra fee on top of it to transfer my own money. What kind of service is that? When you sell something for $40, after their selling fee, transfer fee, shipping fee, you've made around $15! Then the shipping rate increased for buyers to just under $11. Unless you want to pay shipping costs, then you basically need to raise cost of your item, putting the cost much higher than it would be on another site. This makes your item less likely to be purchased and it will sit on Tradesy I purchased for months & months. The only way to move your merchandise is to offer the fee shipping & not up your price to cover shipping. It gets quite expensive to have to cover shipping costs for all that you sell.
I feel Tradesy has gotten greedy and wasn't satisfied with the money they were making and just wanted more. The timing of releasing funds is manipulated so that if your request for transfer is made on a Friday, it actually processes on Monday, then they make sure they take the whole 7-10 days to transfer, pushing it thru yet another weekend (days they do not count into the 7-10 days allowed for transfer). This will be explained by customer service as a protection to sellers (?). No it's not a protection for seller, it's because the longer they hold onto your money, the more interest Tradesy accumulates.
Once again taking more of your money- this is UNETHICAL! They end up taking over half of your sale! Research & do the math!

As a first time buyer there, that was the worst mistake that I'd made. The seller can't even describe the size of Christian Louboutin shoes, the seller was at fault for sending me the wrong size which on the description the seller provided was correct but send me a size bigger then what I had purchase. Instead of getting my refund back on my card, they provided me a refund that can only be used on their site. I find that very Connie in order to keep customer to use that refund on their site. That's very poor customer service ever, the worst company ever...
