I've been selling on tradesy for a long time and sold many items never had a issue with them before until they started changing their payouts and holding your money longer. IF YOU WANT TO SELL ON TRADESY EXPECT TO GET YOUR SELLER MONEY IN A MONTH OR SO! I've called so many times asking why my money has not been deposited into my bank and they always say that they are backed up and there's always a delay! It's complete BS! Knowing you sold a item over 2,000$! And u haven't gotten paid and the customer is satisfied with their purchase! NEVER AGAIN AM I GOING TO SELL ON TRADESY ID RATHER SELL ON EBAY OR OTHER SELLING APPS THAT MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO SELL BUT I SURE AS HELL WOULD RECIEVE MY FUNDS QUICKER THAN THIS SCAM COMPANY! SELLERS BE AWARE OF THE COMPLETE HEADACHE! NOT WORTH SELLING HERE
The seller was great. My shoes were just as described. Fast shipping and great communication. Love how you receive all the update status when it was shipped to being delivered.
This site has afforded items at a fraction of the cost. Very affordable for a lot of people such as myself who normally couldnt afford designer things.

It's not a good sign that you cannot even view items for sale without a constant pop-up box wanting your email address and it won't stop until you turn off block all cookies. None of the other sites I shop at do this, so red flag number one.
I've purchased from Tradesy for many occassions, and I must say, "the experience was wonderful!" The items were as intended and the delivery lead time was super reliable. I love this store!
Terrible -
It should not take a MONTH to "inspect" and release MY funds and another 7 business days to deposit the funds into my PayPal account. I've contacted them numerous times and have yet to deposit my funds.
Terrible experience more than once.
After I get my money I'll be selling on other platforms.
BTW - I have a 3K selling history with them their issues has been the WORST since of late.
I find the prices on this site is steep but sometimes negotiable for your purchase. You have to try if you really want the product.

I do not recommend this company especially if you are selling your merchandise. I sold 2 authentic Louis Vuitton handbags and still no money and it's been 2 weeks since the bags have been delivered. There are 2 buyers somewhere with my handbags doing whatever they want and still no money. Not to mention, why did Tradesy take so much for themselves? I used their prepaid postage, I don't remember postage costing so much money. I'll be using Ebay moving forward.
The return policy is not fair. The four day policy does not allow for anyone being out of town when the item arrives. 15 days is reasonable.
My first purchase on Tradesy was 2 pair of sunglasses and a pair of shoes, all 3 returnable. One pair of sunglasses are perfect, the other does not fit my face. I almost kept them as they are adorable but I decided to follow Tradesy's advice that if I don't love it, or it doesn't fit, easy return. They are not kidding about easy return! I have yet to receive my Jimmy Choos but am looking forward to them.
I have been with Tradesy pretty much since they began both as a buyer and seller. I don't know what's happened in the past 6 months but as a seller, I've decided once my last two sales go through I will no longer sell on this site. I understand and am okay with a 4-day hold to make sure both the buyer and seller are safe. But Tradesy has held on to my funds over the 4 days hold period, making it now over a week I have not been paid.
I emailed them and asked why my funds haven't been released and the response is this, "Tradesy may hold your earnings from a sale for up to 21 days after your item has been delivered to the buyer to ensure the security of every transaction. Timing of this release can vary based on a process of thorough internal security checks, authenticity reviews, and randomized transaction reviews to ensure the safety of our marketplace. As soon as each transaction clears this process, your funds are released!"
Because we are a peer-to-peer market place, we do our best to balance both the seller's and buyer's needs. We have to have this wait time for the seller due to our return window, and the security of the sellers finances. We have found that this is the best way to ensure a successful transaction for the seller, as well as keep the buyer happy. The longest your funds can be held for is 21 days, but typically, funds are released much sooner. I am very sorry that it has negatively affected you I can confirm that everything is processing correctly.
That response is so vague and I just can't help but feel that Tradesy in some sort of financial trouble. Other longtime Tradesy sellers are feeling the same way which is a shame because I think they are going to lose a lot of honest sellers... I'm definitely one of them. Please reconsider selling on this site.

Their return team is a joke! Unknowledgeable staff! In particular, Mellisa R. / from Tradesy returns, she prefers to solely rely on Nordstrom's product description rather than inspecting the item and reading tags attached to the item. She doesn't know that 100% Bovine leather is not plastic or synthetic. Tags on the item show that item is made of 100% bovine leather (as many Ted Baker wallets are), but she prefers to read Nordstrom's product description... just too lazy to check the tags?!. Or high school student! Why are you relying on Nordstrom's product description and not on Neiman Marcus product description, Melissa;-)? By the way, their/NM's product descriptions are much more accurate.
