I was very hesitant to pay for someone to rewrite my resume, and it was expensive - especially while being unemployed. But I went ahead with it, and Laura did an awesome job! Very fast, very friendly, answered every question. So I decided to also do the LinkedIn rewrite - but totally the opposite experience! A WASTE of money! It took them an entire month, I don't know where they came up with the info they wrote, they were EXTREMELY SLOW in responding to emails, and ignored almost all of my questions. When I complained, I got a major runaround. I had to do it myself after a month of frustration.

I was reluctant to use an online resume service, however, i was pleasantly surprised by the service I received by Top resume. They made it easy to work with them and the response and timely turnaround made this typically painful process convenient.

I was looking for an easy process with little back-and-forth communication as I had very limited time. TopResume did just that! The process was simple, communication was prompt and they delivered me with a resume and cover letter that highlights my top skills. The only hesitation with a 5 star rating reflects on the 7-day feedback period, it would be great if this was longer given some people's workloads make it difficult to respond within a 7-day turn around. With that said, strongly encourage you to use this company!

After receiving a comprehensive and realistic overview of my resume from TopResume, I realized I needed to do something fast. I was hitting the "Apply" button for multiple jobs -- and spending hours doing it -- and getting nothing back in response. Sure enough, my resume was getting caught in the ATS filters, and no human eye ever saw it. So, I signed up for an overhaul of my Executive Assistant resume and a new cover letter. Not only did my resume writer provide me with a beautiful product, she did it in a friendly and timely fashion and kept up a stellar communication throughout the writing process. I am delighted with my new resume and cover letter... and I start my new job tomorrow!

October 2016 - I purchased the executive package and received elementary school results.

As an IT software development program/project manager with 25 years experience across multiple Fortune 500 companies, I thought having a professional writer's group rewrite my resume was appropriate at this juncture. My expectations were for a fresh, dynamic, and pithy representation of my diverse experience. I expected a high caliber resume I could directly submit to any position which I was applying.

What I received was a cut and paste version of the resume wording that I had submitted along a request for me to 'fill in the blanks' sections on the resume! WTF?

I believe mostly all quality was sacrificed for the sake of honoring their 2 day commitment on the executive package. I suspect the resume writer's are free lancers who are assigned client work perhaps based upon bidding for them.

Controlling any writer's quality and consistency is surely challenging but is not any excuse for Topresume to deliver highly unsatisfactory results to the end client!

Katie W., I await your reply as I have already directly messaged your team on FaceBook as you have suggested for previous customers who have posted very similar unhappy results.

I hired TopResume to rewrite my resume about a month back. They were quick and easy to sign up for and were timely in the task paid for. The final product was good and I was ok with it. But, once that time had come and gone... They were quick to stop answering questions and I come to hear that they didn't even have someone that specialized in my field. When I asked about timing and why my question/s have not been answered, I get a somewhat dismissive email on how tough the market is, which is clear, and no answer on why my writer cut communication off before my final draft. Time will show, I have till Nov 4th for my 60-day mark.

I was never to comfortable with how my resume looked from what I had done to it. I could never writing it with the correct words or structure it in a way to make it look and feel professional. When TopResume finished it, I was extremely happy with not just how they worded it, but also how it was structured. Even the lay out that it now has, is nothing that I would have ever thought of or even considered.

I rarely write reviews, however I felt this was an instance where I needed to reach out and let prospective clients hear about my experience. I worked with Fred on my resume and he communicated throughout the process, which was speedy and productive. There are services that charge 2-3+ times what TopResume charges, and I just can't see the value. Fred and TopResume did a terrific job in terms of speed, quality, and value. Thanks!
