I ordered 8 items and only one came. Details of tracking showed all items were shipped in this one tiny box. I called customer service and they said they would investigate. 3 weeks later I called my Amex card to dispute. 2 days later I finally received an email saying they would credit my account. The date the claim was filed was the date I called Amex. If I hadn't done that who knows if I would of received anything back. Love the store but will never buy online from them again.

GREAT!

I made my first purchase from TJ Maxx and was super excited! I watched the product price drop and then ordered! Ordering the product was super easy on the web site. The product came during the expected delivery time and just as the picture on the web site!

When you put something in your cart and continue to shop, STOP! DON'T continue to shop. The item that is in your cart might sell out. Disappointing, because I want to look around and spend more money, but then the item sells out. The items in your cart should be held for at least 5mins., so you can continue to shop without worrying about things selling out. I have learned my lesson and will ONLY purchase the item that I find right away and not continue to shop.

I purchased two dresses for my daughter's engagement event, and upon getting dressed, I realized that the sensors were not taken off the dresses. I reached out to the manager, and she said I could bring the dresses back to Williamsburg, VA ( Store I purchased the dresses). I was heading towards Manassas, and I could not go back to Williamsburg due to the time. She recommended that I could go to another one of their stores so they could remove them. I asked her why the alarm didn't the go off when I left the store, and she kept saying we checked our alarms. I went to several stores, and no one could remove the sensors because they said they don't have that type of equipment. I was very embarrassed because the alarm went off going in and out of each store. I was very upset because I was expecting to wear the dress ( I was told another location could remove the sensors and I was given incorrect information) and I had to wear a dress that I put on to travel in.

Horrible customer service

The employees at the jewelry customer counter on 12/26/23 at 6 PM at 2938 Eldridge Pkwy have no customer service skills, waited more than 45 minutes for someone to acknowledge that I needed help and I still didn't get help, the jewelry counter was not busy at all

Awful system
August 15, 2016

Placed and order online and as I was checking out, verified billing addressed. Website didn't give me the change to verify shipping address and before you know it I live in AZ and my order is going to IL. I called right away to have them correct the address and they tell me sorry, no canceling order and no way the can correct the address. They suggested I make arrangements on the other side, like I actually have a clue who lives there. I have been shopping at TJMaxx forever and I like the store but be careful making online purchases. God forbid anything goes wrong you will lose $300 like i did or worse... Cannot believe they can enter their own system and correct something as simple as and address. Package hasn't been process or shipped...

Shipping terrible, takes 7 days for orders to ships from warehouse and another 7 days to get items to Massachusetts. Customer Service non-existent. Web site not user friendly. Stick to store only, web shopping not up to date. Use Macys better pricing, faster free shipping.

Rarely great finds

I prefer to shop at TJMaxx online because stores are usually disorganized and lines are long.The good thing is a free return to the store but still you can't avoid standing on line.
Online selections are easier to browse, howevrr the store does not allow browsing by brand names, only items or styles at best. Price wise comparable with other online discounted stores like BonTon or sales in Lord & Tailor etc.
I feel that few years ago prices and selection were better

First buy, perfect fit!

I recently bought a bridesmaids dress online, never having bought anything from T. J. Maxx online, let alone a dress online ever. It was a great experience. The reviews on the dress were spot on, which enabled me to make the purchase. When i got the dress it looked just like the picture and fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier!

Be careful in reading the small print! Their interpretation of what is written is different from yours and mine! "Allow extra time due to Covid"; well, 5 months ago I would have accepted that! "Delay of 10 days in shipping"; forget the shipping, you need to be more concerned with the PROCESSING! I placed an order, THREE weeks later it still hadn't been processed. I've called Customer Service 3 times. All 3 reps have gone through a very scripted speech. I've called them out on the explanations given me. It states on the website you can't cancel once the order is processed---here's the good part! My order will be processed "sometime this week." BUT, even though it hasn't actually been processed yet, I still can't cancel it. And the next statement was the clincher for me--"Then it will be 10-15 business days before you may receive it." 15 business days = 3 weeks! Again, be careful, and I hope you aren't ordering a birthday gift you needed in a month!

There was a time! Isnt that a Michael Jackson tune? Why No it was, nt! Access to products on this website is lacking terribly in logic... I actually tried to buy an article TJMaxx without success,,, The idea that you would actually purchase something seems to take the website into a "Shock Mode" Like the website says"Really, Your Serious?"The layout is without any real imagination,,, Closeouts are really items that cant be unloaded any time of Year! Impulse Buyer Passed you By!

Tourist complaint!

I m tourist and love tj Maxx but if you are not American you can't have refund because we do t have American ID as drives license. Let me you tj Maxx president or whatever whom you are if you have business I need to treat every costumer the same way doesn't matter where you came from the money are the same. First tourist doesn't have and we don't need American ID to buy anything and when I go to your store to spend my money the cashiers never asked for drives licenses, the only thing they asked is may credit card or my cash, so, the same way should be if I want to return. Don't just delete my review show to the CEO. Thanks. For sure all business from all over the world needs the tourist

Never buy from TJ Maxx Again!
January 1, 2023

Purchased some bed pillows the person I purchased then for did not want them. Tried to return them, and rude customer rep at cashier stated "no,cant return them, purchased and it states as is on the pillows." I purchased two that were supposed to be Platinum, however they were not they stated silver on the tags. I spent $145.00 at TJ Maxx in the Longview, TX store, and I will never go back to that store. I have purchased the last I will ever buy at T J Maxx. I hope HomeGoods puts TJ Maxx out of business!

TJmaxx cancelled my orders several times and not even bother to send an email to let me know. I am not sure if it happens to others. Most of the time, TJmaxx cancelled my orders of more expensive stuff. Because of its terrible customer services, I tent to buy less expensive things from TJmaxx but from time to time, I just could not resist the price and decided to buy. The results had been the same, they got cancelled. Do they do analysis of people's situation?

TJMaxx is such a terrific place to get all kinds of stuff. I scored some very different dog toys & treats as well as several fleece blankets, trats for his stocking & my favorite socks & gloves. As well as a great deal on my slipper boots!

TJ Maxx Review 12/6/22

I tried shopping recently in a local TJ Maxx and I was surprised that all of their prices have gone dramatically UP! Plus, the store is poorly lit due to them changing the lighting to a darker atmosphere. Housewares were very cluttery and the cosmetics and face department went very downhill by them adding various unknown type marketers and brands of facial products nobody heard of. Very cluttered and severly overpriced makeup, hair and face products. Poor brands of products, (home based internet) brands of facial products. Very unsuitable for a store to be offering the public. This store had it together a decade ago and now they DO NOT!

Today, 12/2/19, I was offered the chance for purchase discounts. I was in the application process when it came up to the requirement of entering my SS number. Why was this required when I was not applying for anything serous, like a credit card. The cashier did not know why when I asked. NOT COOL! And not returning.

I order a Nautica men's swimming shorts, I received a woman's Cable & Gauge sweater. I can't even return to the store because the item was wrong. I called the customer service, was to told to go to FedEx office to ship it back, no apology. Now I am debating if I should send it back. With such a chaotic service, I am not sure I will get my money back.

Sam D was being very homophobic towards me and my friend when trying to purchase dresses whilst Ashley, Shaila,and Jamile were very helpful and helped us with our purchases i am very angry with Sam's service and she was also being extremely racist as two black lgbtq members walked in. This happen at the Tj maks in Waukesha Wisconsin inside of the shopping center place near sunset right next to hobby lobby.
