I loved to shop at tilly's in the store and the clothes I got from there were pretty good but the prices were high for the material it's made of. My mom and I decided to buy something online if I payed her back so I order 2 halter tops and a pair of pom Pom shorts. We ordered the clothes at least a week and a half ago and the store kept pushing our order farther back when it should have come on Tuesday now it's saying we won't get the clothes until next Tuesday or Thursday. I'm beyond belief pissed about it and I canceled any further magazines coming to my house...
I went to tillys with me and my friend and we are both 13 years old. For every single coupon we found online they gave us excuses for why we cant use it. For a coupon that said never expires and said that 74 people used it today they said that cant let us use it because it expired and it was probably just a glitch. We also saw an adult that was in front of us in line that they let her use a 20% coupon. But when we asked they said they were out even though we saw more coupons. So we ended up buying our clothes for full price... after a while we realized that it was unfair what they did so we went to return the clothes. But they told us that we couldnt return it because we just bought it which makes no sense. And when we asked them if they had a coupon they kept saying no even though we saw ppl on front of us use it... they gave us no respect just because we were kids. Next time you want to buy at tillys keep this review in mind.
Ordered one of their watches online for my boyfriends birthday because they didn't carry it in store, paid $30 for OVERNIGHT shipping on Saturday morning for it not to get here till Wednesday night (his birthday). Didn't get a tacking number till Tuesday night because there were "inconsistencies with my order" but it wasn't inconsistent enough to take the $300+ out of my account. They called and asked my name and said it was now verified. Like what. Called customer service, they said it was my fault because they have a "standard 2 day processing period". So basically they don't offer overnight or 2 day shipping.
I really love this site. They have a variety of things on here and if you check the sales, you'll find great prices on items that you couldn't find cheaper anywhere else. So I ordered a pair of shoes, the shipping was an average wait. They didn't come early but it came on the estimated arrival date so that was okay AND my it was packaged nicely so I really liked that. I'll definitely order from Tillys again.
Tilly's is by far the worst online website i have ever witnessed. They have great products, which is why i visit it frequently. But every time I order ANYTHING from them, they are out of stock and instead of sending 2 items, they send 1. They are a $#*!ing joke, and I am done with it. Save the trouble, and DO NOT buy anything from their joke of a company. Also their customer service is complete dog $#*!.
I purchased the item. Just one. Very simple. But after the auto order confirmation email, I never heard anything from them, more than a week, no updates, no notification, no explanation, Nothing!
Then I send few emails about cancelling and refunds, they finally responded with
Shipments...
No apologie, No explanation, Nothing!
I hate this site. Never use this ever again.
I sent my shorts back that didn't fit and am being charged 16$ to return them so I am only getting back less than half of my money that I had ordered. I understand the shipping fee but if you use the return label they send you it's 8$ on top of that. One: it doesn't cost 8$ to ship short. S. And 2: there was no where said if I used this label is miss out on 8$ it's complete $#*! and I'll never order anything again from this company. Any other company sends the label and doesn't charge you to use it. I it would have came in my package that if you use this label you will cost 8$ off your order I wouldn't have used it but no it says it on the website instead. Doesn't matter that information should be included in return fees. Beyond pissed.
I ordered items on December 2nd. Site said order would be filled within 24-48 hours and shipped. Two weeks later and multiple calls to the service center, they said the items were now out of stock and the order will be cancelled. Should be noted that during the 2 week time, they continued to list the item for sale on their website. Will never shop here again!
I recently made a purchase online and after not receiving the order on the scheduled date, I contacted their customer service line to inquire on the order. The hold time to get to a representative was over 30 minutes. This happened twice! The first time I gave up and tried sending an email to their customer support but the email was never addressed. The second time I got a hold of a female representative who obviously didn't like her job because she was not very helpful. I never received the order and had to go through my bank to dispute the charges. Will not be using their online store again.
We ordered several items from their website but had to exchange a board shorts because of incorrect size so we went to 1 of their stores and have them reorder it with the correct size. It turned out they delivered the wrong size! It's just too inconvenient going back and fort from their store just to get the right size for a single board shorts.
I ordered 4 shirts online and Tilly's sent them separately in 3 shipments. I did get 2 shirts from 2 shipments. The last shipment with my other 2 shirts got delivered but not to my house. I asked for Tilly's to look into the matter with FedEx and FedEx is saying they delivered it to the right house. I have 2 cameras facing the street and they didn't even come down my street that day. I am now trying to find a way to get my money back for shirts I didn't receive. I don't think FedEx knows that house numbers can be the same but on different streets. I don't think I will be ordering from Tilly's anymore since I can't seem to get a refund or replacement shirts.
Worst customer service ever! The kicker is I work in Customer Service for a well known apparel retailer as well, so I know for a fact how horrible it is. Not only that but the hidden fees for shipping and the refusal for wiggle room. You end up paying more for a return or exchange and end up not getting an item at all. They do nothing to keep a customer loyal and satisfied. Waste of time! Waste of money! Waste of breath. Even the supervisor uses the same scripted explanation. Its actually kind of funny. Yeah that's right I called corporate to complain and even they didn't give a $#*!. They redirected to me to the source of all my problems. A three ring circus! Ahaha NEVER AGAIN. Go to Tillys stores and special order from there. Ironically the customer service is better there.Don't shop ONLINE!
I went to the Lakeside mall in Sterling heights mi. The employees had the worst customer service ever! Not to mention clueless about their sales! There was a sign that said clearly 50 percent off and all you see is tshirts so I confirmed if the tshirts hanging were actually on sale. He said yes. Then the cashier said no only the red lined clothing which didn't exist in this area. So asked for a manager who claimed it was the cashier who disappeared. So I then asked a different guy who claimed he was the manager to cover for the girl that hid. I took him to the employee who verified the shirts were on sale and he said did you tell her that and he goes well I guess. And they couldn't find anything in this area on sale and still wouldn't sell it for the posted sale price.
Terrible customer service! Package wasn't delivered to mailroom in condo complex, it was left "at gated
Driveway" in a large city and they refuse to refund. DO NOT purchase anything from this company! Buyer beware!
Worst online shopping experience. EVER. First of all recieved completely wrong size, ordered an xs recieved a large? Emailed and they said they were out of stock in xs so I guess they just decided to throw any old size into the package and call it a day. Thx tillys. Also, a single item that was supposed to ship separately has not come yet. Got an email saying it was sent but FedEx says they have not recieved it and tracking is not available. It's been over a week and nothing has changed... no updates no nothing. Emailed tillys two days ago... no response. I don't even want to bother calling because of all the negative reviews on here. Basically ordering from here is equivalent to burning ur own money. I probably can't step into any Tillys now without gagging
This company feels like their working with their postal service to scam their customers. It's absolutely ridiculous how they feel no remorse for customers that lose money trying to support their business. I useto be a big fan of the mall store, staff was kind and even offered me direct hire the first time I went in. Do not fall for their trends and low prices. I will never trust TILLY's as a brand ever again. So shady. The customer service reps of 2020 do not give a $#*! about you or your stolen package. I thought I was finally going to be able to rock some fresh underwear, pants and nikes. Nope. I thought.
I've ordered 3 pairs of RSQ jeans on 2 different dates since Jan 28th, received both orders in a timely fashion and ordered another pair tonight. Loved the jeans.! The sale and free shipping code is too good to pass up.! I checked out using Paypal.! This covers my purchases in case something goes wrong. I was able to track my package the entire way.
I bought some clothes from Tilly's about two months ago. I went there today to exchange the clothes and they told me I couldn't because it was over thirty days. All I wanted was store credit so I could buy something different. I will never buy anything from you guys again! Which sucks because I like your store.
I pre-ordered and paid over $120 for 3 Christmas dresses on the 15th of October and still haven't received them? Pre-order is suppose to be 2-4 weeks and I have a Christmas photo shoot coming up and no dresses. Not impressed!
I had a series of bad experiences with both in-store and online purchases with Tillys. The online ordering took forever to come and finally when the order was received it was missing items. This happened twice with online orders with items missing. The in-store guys could not help me to even pay for their merchandise with the gift card. Their payment gateway was not accepting gift cards for some reason on Friday evening and their response was hilarious. They told me that their IT support is gone for the day and will not be available on Saturday and Sunday either so Monday is the earliest they will be able to look at the gift card issue. I blame their IT head who is fine with this mode of IT support that the company is following. All they have to say is we are sorry with no resolution in sight. I hope the CEO reads this and ask the head of IT that how can a store tell this to customers that their IT support is off from Friday evening till Monday morning.

Bought them knowing I shouldn't, because my sister bought a sweatshirt over this last winter that fell apart after the first wash and they wouldn't refund her money either. Both times we were told we shouldn't have washed the Garment. Who doesn't wash their clothing? When I washed my shoes I washed them on delicate, cold water, with a couple of towels and let them air-dry but they stained yellow all over from some ingredient in the fabric or glue.
