PLEASE READ BEFORE SHOPPING ONLINE

The absolute worst experience, please never order anything online from this website. I placed a $140 order on 12/1/19. Tuesday, 12/3/19 I received an email letting me know that my order shipped. Tillys provided me with a tracking number for FedEx. On Tillys website under my order status, it claimed that my order was shipped and received by the carrier (FedEx). However, when I tracked the status on FedEx's site, there was no movement on my package and FedEx claimed that they have not received the package from Tilly's. After 6 days of nothing being updated I became concerned and contacted Tillys customer service about the issue. They explained how there is nothing they can do until the 8th business day (12/12/19) and if I haven't received my package by then, to call back and file a missing package claim. It is now the 8th business day, I called back and had to file the package as missing. The customer service rep asked if I would rather have a refund put back into my account, or a reshipment of the items. I requested a refund considering the fact that every single item I ordered was a Christmas gift and half of the items are now out of stock. She also advised me that the investigation of what happened to my package will take up to 10 business days after I file my claim which would be 12/22/19. There is obviously no guarantee that my items will be delivered in time for Christmas or let alone delivered at all. If I have no update on my package or my refund by the 22nd, I will be calling again and DEMANDING it. If they try and play a waiting game with me for reissuing my $140 back to me, I will not be happy. It also seems that they enjoy not giving back refunds either so I can't wait to see how this eventually turns out. Fortunately, customer service was kind and helpful and overall didn't give me a hard time. After this incident, I did some research and found out that this happens to be a common occurrence to many customers who place orders on Tillys. This is an extremely frustrating situation considering the timing right around the holidays. After years of being a loyal customer to Tillys, I can promise you I won't be shopping here anymore. Absolutely ridiculous that this is such a common occurrence with the same company. Obviously, a change needs to desperately be made. Too sketchy for it to happen this often... so PLEASE take your time to read this review and don't waste your time, money, or frustration trying to purchase items online from this company. Chances are, they will not be delivered.

Terrible customer service and how they run their buisness. I went to order a pair of joggers on my phone and because their mobie sit is so glitchy, when I went to check out and hit submit my order, an error came up saying no items in cart. No order number or nothing. So thinking the order wasn't processed and that it didn't go through, I tried reordering it again, it went through I got the "thank you for ordering" along with my order number. I go to my email and PayPal only to see that I have been charged with two seperate orders for the same item. So after realize the first time I tried ordering it DID go through, I quickly sent them an email conerning my issue to cancel the order, since it was after customer service hours, making sure I could catch them before they both shipped. I quickly recieved a bot email saying since its the holidays, expect a response within 2-3 buisness days, however I made it a prompt to call them first thing in the morning, the girl I spoke to said she would put in a request to cancel one of the orders. Next thing I know a few hours later I get am email stating, both orders have been shipped! So instead of canceling my one order that decide to go ahead and send them both anyways! Then I get an email back from them saying we can't cancel the order because it has been sent, WHEN I ALREADY CALLED TO HAVE IT CANCELLED IN THE FIRST PLACE! Why would you send an order that was supposed to be cancelled? I informed them ahead of time but they act like it would of done something when apparently it wouldn't of made a difference anyways. I paid $8.00 freakin dollars for basic 5-8 buisness day shipping, and they already shipped it that quick? Seriously? Its not like my order was a priority to be shipped that fast. Tillys get your company together I called in enough time for the order to be cancelled. You don't give people anytime to have questions about an order. I made my order at 3am and called as soon as the lines were open 6am. Then you send the cancelled order at 12pm noon. Plenty of time. Lets hope when I go to return it at the store they give me my money back.

I never have a problem with Tilly's! I love the store and always feel very welcome, but today I left feeling judged and bullied. First off, i am not loaded with tons of money so getting to buy something at Tilly's is special. Well, i didn't have any money, besides a $20 gift card so I was limited on what I could buy! So i was in the store for a good 20 minutes looking around, trying to decide what to buy when i found a pair of earrings and a cute tumbler cup that i have been wanting for a while now! So i went up to the cashier and there were five male employees huddling around. When i walked up they all started laughing and one of them said "I can't believe you come here, shop for 20 minutes, and then decide to but a cup!" I was astonished! I couldn't believe they were judging me for what i was buying. Hadn't they ever head the saying "the customer is always right." But I ignored them throughout the whole checkout process, even though they continued to laugh and make jokes at me. When i handed them a 20% coupon they told me, "I would buy other stuff. This coupon doesn't expire till next month and this is a waste." I couldn't believe the words coming out of his month. So he told me to buy like a shirt or something. Therefore, i went and grabbed some flip flops. But since i only had a $20 gift card, i couldn't afford the other stuff. So i told him I just wanted the flip flops, and so he just laughed at me mockingly and took 10 minutes to check out. At that point i had already had it, but when another employee walked up to me and said "that girl is still here and she is only buying flip flops," i had it! I couldn't wait to leave that store. I have never felt more humiliated in my life. I felt bullied and i don't ever want to return to that store again. First off, they never said anything positive to me like hello or have a nice day. Secondly, they made fun of what i was buying. And thirdly, they acted like i had to buy what they wanted me to buy, like customers don't have a choice. I felt embarrassed, ashamed, and most importantly angry. I am just dumbfounded that they even got a job at a world renown customer service oriented place like Tilly's. I am never going to shop at the Tilly's located in Queen Creek, Arizona ever again. So thanks the Tilly's employees they have lost what was a reliable employee.
